I saw Audrey after hearing from my sister how amazing she is - Audrey lived up to my expectations! She was warm and genuine, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. I appreciated that she walked me through each step of the haircut, and she taught me how to style my hair as well. Audrey told me about products she was using, yet did not once try to sell me said products. I appreciated that I didn't feel pressured - I've experienced that so often with other stylist, and it's been off-putting. As for the environment, it is GORGEOUS. I was immediately welcomed by Stephanie, and I was offered a beverage (water, coke, Diet Coke, tea, or coffee). The waiting chairs were comfortable, and I enjoyed the vibe from all the staff. You can tell they enjoy each other's company, and this made for an overall pleasant environment. I cannot recommend The Refinery Hair Lounge enough. I will be back! read more

Holy wow. I was so nervous going to the city to a hair salon but I had accident with some scissors and my stylist was on maternity leave. First impression walking in was that the place was gorgeous. The young lady at the desk was super friendly (I sadly don't remember her name). She also did my shampoo which was so good it made me wanna fall asleep. Audrey was ready to go on time and took plenty of time to talk to me about my ideas. She gave me several "hot tips" on styling as a no styling girl. The trick with the tinted dry shampoo is chef's kiss. The cut and style makes my blonde grow out look like an intentional ombré. Thank you for a great experience. read more

I have went to Gabby many times and she always does a great job! I have not had anyone else there cut my hair at The Refinery, but if its not broke (and is doing an awesome job) why shake it up! The place its self is super awesome! I love the rustic look, piping, stuff hanging from the ceiling. Its very well done and aesthetically pleasing. Very warm atmosphere while looking super cool. Even the bathroom is a work of art! The prices are slightly higher than other places for a men's haircut, but considering I consistently get a great hair cut I am not going to shop around. read more

The decorations were BEAUTIFUL, the music was so fun & everyone overall was just so nice. I've been looking for a new salon as my former hairdresser retired and was a little nervous to try somewhere new, but after my appointment I was quite pleased with my experience. I got the "All about the Greys" grey/highlight blend with Olivia B. and she was fantastic about listening to my goals with the service and giving back advice how to achieve them. First off, the ambience and vibe I get from being in this salon is like none other. I am a clean freak by nature and this place is immaculate. The folks are laid-back yet very professional, great combo! Secondly, Leanna White is my stylist and has been for 4+ years now and I would NOT switch to anyone else after all my years of wonderful experiences with her. Leanna's knowledge of hairstyles, coloring, techniques, and overall ideas of what will look good on me have ALWAYS been spot on. I am a returning client, not once, but several times, myself and my daughter. Had an appointment scheduled for a Tuesday afternoon, reached out Monday morning to advise of a sick child and couldn't not make the appointment. Nobody reached out until Tuesday. Today they charged my card. They have policies, etc. All businesses do. Best practices would be to help accommodate a client. I did not no call, no show. The manager could not resolve the issue to Audrey attempted, but was rude and hung up the phone. I was told Bailey the stylist would return my call, but highly doubt she gets the message. What poor customer service practices. I had no issue before this. Sad that a "business" needs $20.70 so badly that they will loose customers over it. I hope nobody else gets treated that way. read more

I was disappointed with my 2nd visit. My 1st visit was awesome. I had a dry cut and a shampoo & style. I had never had a dry cut but it WAS the best cut! About 8 weeks later I booked my 2nd appointment. I asked for a dry cut again with the same stylist. My appointment was for 6pm. I was called back at 6:06, cut done by 6:18. She took the cape off, she said how does it look? I said great! I thought I was going for a shampoo but no shampoo & style, no style, no blow dry, no hair product. Nothing. I was charged $55. I was $55 the first time as well. I didn't say anything because I then felt uncomfortable after I said it look great. So I paid $55 and I tipped because I tip no matter what. But that was not right. $60 for a 10 minute cut. read more
