Solid 5 star review for SC Gutters. I obtained several quotes and settled on the quote from Marcos for several reasons. The most important was the fact his measurements were accurate and not "padded". That indicates integrity. Secondly, Marcos communicates mainly via phone and that's my preference as well versus some others that send an incessant number of texts. Price point was fair; not the most expensive or the least. Also, I needed some adjustments in gutter placement which was accommodated easily. The project was completed same day which was a nice surprise. Quality work and everything looks fantastic. Needed a small gutter system installed on a patio and SC gutters was able to come out and give me a free estimate when other companies would not because of it being a "small job". SC gutters did not charge a minimum job fee like other companies and let me choose the design of gutter and color of my gutters. I requested that they pre drilled everywhere they were going to add mounting brackets and they accommodated my requests. They were also very nice to make sure that they did not damage my garden boxes and plants that were directly under the gutter system and that was the best part to me. I called them for new gutters on my patio (16' , 2 downspouts) and 2 guys came out and installed beautiful gutters and the downspouts just as I wanted them (special & my rainchain). The slope is strong so no puddles in the gutter. I called them back to do the rest of the house 3 months later. No price change, plus they hauled away all my old gutters. Highly recommend. Requested quote for 50 ft gutter replacement through yelp to several contractors. Marcos at SC Gutters is was one of the only ones to respond. After an initial quote online he came out to my home and discussed the project. Quotes were fair (much less than other quotes I received). We scheduled the work for 2 weeks out since I was going to be away. Their crew showed up on the scheduled date, which I appreciated since I usually have to chase contractors. I DONT recommend SC Gutters - Marcos at all. After reading many glowing reviews here and on Nextdoor, I was extremely disappointed by his lack of reliability. Despite my numerous follow-up attempts, he has been inconsistent and unprofessional. When he initially said he'd come on a Sunday, I thought, "Wow, dedication." However, he never showed up. After I texted, he responded, "Oh, sorry, some family came over last minute." I tried to stay positive and asked when he could come instead. He didn't respond until Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., saying, "I can come today around noon." I cleared my day and went home to wait, but by 3:44 p.m., he texted saying he was finishing up a job and could stop by on his way back. He eventually showed up after 6:30 p.m. He seemed competent when we met, so I scheduled the work. His earliest was Sept. 30th. I confirmed the date and marked it on my calendar, but again he's a no-show. Given his lack of reliability, it's probably for the best, as it doesn't inspire confidence in the work. read more

For a very reasonable price, they did an amazing job replacing my gutters. took them 1 day to filling rip it all off and replace it with a new gutter to go along with downspouts and gutter guard. the downspouts are screwed down tightly to my walls, including the ones on the brick walls. definitely recommended. read more
