Our roof started leaking during a recent storm. I called Century Roofing on Monday and they came out on Tuesday. Quickly examined our roof (which has solar panels) and found and removed some debris close to where it was leaking. He didn't think that was the issue and that it was likely under one of the solar panels which he wasn't allowed to work on, but it hasn't leaked since. Charged us a very minimal fee for his time. I called Nino and the next day a gentleman came out and replaced the damaged cement tiles which were ripped off during the last storm. He also repaired several areas which needed additional roofing glue based on damage or deterioration over time. He even brought and gave me two extra "L" shaped cement tiles for any future damage. I am so happy I found Century Roofing. Our house was in desperate need of a new roof. The existing roof was aging composition and we decided to replace it with a more permanent and fire-resistant metal roof. Right away I discovered that even though there are dozens of roofing companies to choose from, very few offer metal as an option. Even fewer can be considered experts. We knew going in that a metal roof would be substantially more expensive than the normal composition roof. After being disappointed with one company's estimate (they didn't want to strip the existing roof, I was going to have to pull the county permit myself and on top of that it was over-priced), I decided to continue my search. By luck, my searching led me to Century Roofing. At first glance I could tell they seemed like the company I wanted to work with. I decided to call them right away. I spoke with Nino Blanco and very quickly we arranged for him to come out and give an estimate. Nino and his partner Carlos arrived on time on the agreed date to provide the estimate. Nino provided plenty of information while Carlos took measurements of the house and detached garage. During this time I felt assured that Century Roofing knew what they were talking about and had a lot of experience. Nino provided a firm, reasonable estimate and we decided right away to hire them. I was pleased that part of their process was to strip the old roofing material (a must if you ask me--who knows what kind of condition the decking is in?). They also took care of pulling the county permit! Several weeks passed between the estimate and the time to begin the work. This was to be expected as the roofing panels had to be custom ordered. Once the work began, Carlos and his excellent team worked diligently until the job was done. Everyone was very courteous and respectful of the property. All I can say is wow! We bumped into Century's truck in Rocklin and thank God we did. We are contemplating a full reroof soon but needed to have an immediate repair done for insurance purposes. We got quite a few bids for our roof. We learned a lot and was impressed with each company that came out. We decided on Century roofing because it was the best bid and we really liked Nino. Other roofers were happy to give me a bid for a full replacement without any advice about the current condition. The other roofers performed the inspection by drone FYI. Nino walked the whole length of the roof and advised against a full replacement.
