It was Moms request that she be covered in a blanket. Before she was taken to the cemetery I took the blanket and placed it over her top half. As I tried to open the bottom of the casket I was stopped by one of the parties who work there. I insisted on opening the bottom half in honor of my mother's request. He continued to dissuade me. I was insistent and he relented. When the bottom of the casket was opened I was horrified to see my Mother's stockings pulled only half way to her calf. I was completely overwhelmed and distraught by the treatment Marine Park Funeral Home displayed toward my Mother. I believe it was because our funds were limited. I left shaking but said nothing rather than cause a scene. Never ever would I use Marine Park Funeral Home.

The grass was cut neatly, they weren't any weeds, all the headstones on the graves were in good order. I did not see any trash laying around . In the cemetery you do not hear noise from the traffic on victory Boulevard. It is very peaceful there. I was really surprised that it was such a pleasant cemetery and so well kept. It's a very nice final resting place.
