Best place for furniture, customer service, price, delivery!!

We love our tables from Scandinavian Designs. They are very sturdy as well as not the typical "cookie cutter" end tables and coffee table. We also purchased our kitchen/dining room table from them and it is also unique. The live edge on the Varden tables look gorgeous in our living room. There were issues actually getting the products but they were well worth the wait. Quality pieces at reasonable prices. Sales associates and other personnel were easy to work with. read more

We saw so many pieces in this store that we would have bought if we had a bigger home! Our salesperson, Michelle, was very helpful and patient, and we did special order a couch from the Voss collection. Took 7 months to get here but it was worth the wait. Definitely a quality piece. The delivery process was very streamlined with text alerts along the way. Shout out to Eduardo and Michael, who delivered and set up the couch. Very professional and even cleaned up the packaging mess before they left! We had a great experience all around and would not hesitate to recommend this store. read more

A big thank you to Justin Baker at the Bell Road location of Scandinavian Designs Furniture. He definitely made a frustrating situation better and was able to resolve our issues. We purchased a bedroom set on October 12th....after a long check out session (new store, new employees, difficult program) he was able to get the sale finalized and scheduled for delivery on Oct 19th. Then came some warehouse issues and we didn't receive all the pieces as promised. A second delivery was scheduled but fell through. Even though we had to pick up the missing dresser, Justin made it possible that we could do that. The dresser was wrapped and prepared for shipping so that we had no issues in transporting it. If not for this man, I'm not sure we would give this review any stars! We look forward to enjoying our new furniture! read more

We went to the container store to get a $5 item when we noticed a new furniture store next door. Scandinavian Design so we decided to give it a look. Be very careful because we ended up getting all new furniture for our living room. Kathryn was our host. It was like shopping with a long time friend, she was amazing and the reason for 5 stars! We sat with her shopping on line for a better deal the entire time joking with her that we were looking for bar stools like the ones they had. No such luck and we love our living room furniture and are so happy we got bar stools as well! You can not beat the quality or prices. Ask for Kathryn and tell her you read this review you'll be glad you did. This lady knows her stuff from construction to materials to details about the company who manufactured them to design and style. Boy she has style and she is like listening to a friend not a sales person! We love all our furniture but are staying away for a bit because it's just so easy to find things you just need that you didn't know you needed. We'd give more stars if possible. Our experience in the store was very positive. We were greeted when we entered but were allowed to explore the store without an escort, which we appreciated. We purchased the Gustav sofa and loveseat. It was delivered a few days ago. The deliverymen, Eduardo and Greg, were very professional. Very disappointed visited the store 2 weeks ago made a purchase of two pots that we were told in stock again it's been 2 weeks and have not received a phone call so I make the call to ask if I was supposed to call them because I am waiting on an order that is supposed to be in stock , the lady says we have one of your items and the other you can come in and pick k a floor model so I show up not only did they not order the pot we wanted they sold us an item totally different I'm told you can purchase the right one and it will take another week to receive we have an event this weekend and was really counting on have out interior decor complete , so after asking for my money back on the item that I purchased and didn't receive I'm told they will mail me a check ? I moved into a new home in Prescott, AZ this fall and I had very little furniture! With only a few furniture stores in Prescott I drove, one hour and half away, to Glendale, AZ with my first stop at Scandinavian Designs where I met Janet! I stayed in touch after finding the perfect dining table for my home. I talked with Janet many times on the phone to order furniture. One time I was trying to find dining room chairs to work with my dining table of choice! I had chosen two styles of dining chairs from your website and asked Janet to help me with my choice. She took the time to gather the chairs and set them around the table to take pictures to send me. With her help I was able to make my choice. I found a buffet/media console on the website I liked! I asked Janet to take pictures to send me. When I placed my order Janet helped me with everything and help set up delivery. The delivery service was excellent! I was happy that the furniture was delivered on the date promised and updated on the time for the delivery! read more

My experience with Kathryn Cates at the Arrowhead location has been far better than my expectations. After placing my order at a sale price the same pieces went on another sale at a better price. When I ask about the other sale pricing Kathryn promptly rewrote order reducing cost to the lower price. Under normal circumstances, one would write a positive review after making a purchase; however, we ended up not purchasing any furniture at this time, but wanted to write a positive review about the outstanding customer service received from Kathryn at Scandinavian Designs. Upon first entering the store, I remember several employees at the counter, but it was Kathryn who greeted us with a large warm smile and a "welcome to Scandinavian Designs". During the course of our visits to the store, I also remember that even when she was waiting on us, if she noted someone browsing in the store, she would always smile, asked if they needed any help and made them feel welcome. Kathryn genuinely cares for her customers. For example, there were some glitches in the process of having some furniture delivered, but it was Kathryn who apologized and made us aware of to what ends she would go to right the wrongs. Kathryn even came to our home to offer her personal and valuable help. Kathryn is professional, courteous and highly knowledgeable in her field. We will definitely be back to purchase from Scandinavian Designs and Kathryn will be the reason why (the furniture is lovely also, just not the right pieces we were looking for this time). read more
