She was patient with our situation and helped us worked out get the bed we needed. She also helped my siblings and I get mom a bed when my father passed away. My mom loved her bed and adjustable frame as well. The delivery staff were fast and able to assemble the bed right away. When there was a slight hiccup with the base size, the other set of delivery people were able to fix that issue as well. I would go back to them again. read more

I went to Mattress Firm yesterday (Friday Nov 22nd) to find a new mattress for my 86 yr old father, who has Dementia and has been sleeping on the same mattress he's had for 20+ years. He's been complaining of terrible back pain for the last week or so and I told him his mattress isn't good for him anymore. So, I told him that I was going shopping. Mattress Firm was my first stop on my 'search'. Mariana greeted me with a kind smile. I told her what my mission was and she asked me some good questions. She pointed me in the direction of 3 or 4 mattresses that matched the criteria I was giving her. I was very impressed with her knowledge and expertise. I made a decision for the Sterns & Foster Studio Full size and called my father about it, but he was a bit taken back by the price and he emphatically said "NO, I'm not spending that much money on a mattress!" I felt sad that Mariana spent a good 30-40 minutes with me and then have to tell her no as well. When I got home, my father started asking me more questions about what was included in the price I told him over the phone. I proceeded to relay all of the benefits of a good quality mattress and that he would need to spend a little more than he had in mind for something that was going to help him get a better night's sleep and relieve a good portion of his back pain. He finally said 'Well, when you put it that way, I say go for it!" I was so happy to go back that same day and make the purchase. Mariana was very proficient at inputting all of the choices I had made in the computer,took the $300 Black Friday promotional 'gift' off of the total price and made delivery and take-away of old mattresses arrangements. Manny helped us the first time, and he was great. He informed us about the 4 month trial, which was good to know, considering, the mattress was a little too soft for my grandma. We came back today, after a couple months and met Sara (GM). She greeted us as we walked in and was very friendly..and Asked if it was our first time in. We let her know we were returning customers, and that we needed to do an exchange. We explained what my grandma didn't like about the current mattress and she quickly found a few other options, but the first one she took us to, was spot on. It did cost a little more, but we knew that could be a possibility, coming in. She let us know there would be a restocking fee involved, as well. Buying a mattress is something you shouldn't purchase based on the price tag. Honestly, you spend a good hefty chunk of your life sleeping and your sleep dictates your daily mood. So research as much as you can before making this financial jump. There's a few things you've gotta keep in mind: 1. What type of sleeper are you (side, back, stomach, or all over), 2. What type of mattress do you prefer (soft or firm, this can fluctuate based on your weight), 3. Are you a hot sleeper (does your body sweat at night)? We needed a new mattress because the one that we had was nearly 10 years old and way too firm. We used a memory foam and I just couldn't feel comfortable anymore with it so I often tossed and turned. I did a ton of research and decided on three options and walked in about thirty till 1700. The sales man (I forgot his name) was really knowledgeable and honest about my options. He even said that he purchased one of the contenders but didn't like it and ended up giving it to his daughter so I can appreciate his honesty. Nevertheless, he was able to get our new mattress delivered to us the next day. Assembly was free abs the removal of the old mattress was about $100 or so. I went in there Tuesday to purchase a mattress and a base which was supposed to be delivered today on Sunday and nobody contacts me. I call the store when they open today only to find out that my deliveries not coming today because they don't have my base and nobody in 4 days bothered to contact me. Then the bitch over the phone tells me I have to come all the way back to Fairfield to cancel my order and I come to find out when I go down there the bitch could have canceled it over the phone. I take a day off work, wait 4 days for a bed that was never going to show up and the bitch at the store has the nerve to have an attitude about it. Not once did she ask how she can make it right, all she could say is it's not her fault. I guess to get good customer service you have to buy an expensive ass bed at Mattress Firm.
