So I was feeling a little guilty. I tried to get his grass to grow more upon or property line myself, rototilling, adding dirt, spiking the saint augustine runners. You know trying to get the grass to "blend in". Let's not forget the sprinkler rigger more ole! So anyways... got so TIRED of fending off the WEEDS!! Especially those Hitchhikers!!! My dogs would come in limping on 3 paws whining like babies, cause they are. So finically, I ask my neighbor, "Hey, who do you use to spray your yard?" I just can't do it anymore! I was using a 5 gallon sprayer on the back with the blue die and the weed killer that supposed to kill everything but my mixed grass- saint augustine and some resealed grass I can't think of it's name right now. But man what a job and it ruins my cloths and my sneakers. Long story short- my neighbor says "Liberty Lawns". I was like ok I can remember that. Honestly I would get a cringe every once in awhile watching the guy on the golf cart blast his yard with I don't know what but he was done in like 20 min versus my 3 days off back breaking work for just over an acre! By myself. So I called Liberty! Found out I could save 10%. Talked to the guy myself- the one who runs through spraying one hand with a hose while spraying the same time from behind the Gator! Freakin Amazing if you ask me!! So this story gets even better. Not only does Randy know the blended grasses I have he mixing the chemicals himself based on my own yards conditions! Wait- it gets even better. Not only does he kill the hitchhikers, burrs, witch grass and good know whatever else is in there, he fertilizes my only 2 good kinds of grass AND puts down PESTICIDE!!! Which kills FLEES!! So I don't even have to put that toxic flee killer medicine down my dogs throat or spine!! I'm FLEE FREE!! So that not only saves me money it's healthier for my Doggos!!! Which makes me so relieved because that stuff isn't good for dogs. I even talked to my Vet about this lawn service and he approved!! You just have to wait for it to dry. I'm very pleased with my decision and I love to watch Randy in action. He does a phenomenal job at what he does. He comes on his own at the right time and it's pretty much pain free. He warned me it would take 5 or 6 months before I saw improvements. He was right. But now I can spend my time fixing the bald spots and my doggos aren't limping any more. They took care of removing large overgrown shrubs in front of our house with an excavator, Rob redesigned the yard using a video demonstration beforehand which looked outstanding, the crew laid new bordering, expanding the beds, replaced all soil and added weed-preventing landscape fabric and landscape rock, and added several palms, small shrubs, and several items of color that were mostly maintenance-free at our request. Some landscape companies will take what you request and twist them to convince you to use certain plants that turn more of a profit for them, but not Leafy Landscapes. They'll work with your request and do everything to make it happen, offering some expert guidance along the way, but not hard-selling toward something else. What I like most is that Rob and his crew are expert at landscape and landscape design and have been involved in horticulture for many years, so they know what works and doesn't work in a central Florida landscape. Tremendous job - We would highly recommend! ***** (ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM 2018) - Excellent work by both gentlemen here doing major trimming of shrubs and palms. This company doesn't just send someone with just some expensive shears and a truck. I hired these guys about two years ago and it's been a constant struggle to get them to do the job…read moreright, anywhere from breaking sprinkler heads that they didn't report or repair to killing most of my garden with "weed control". Chris manages the bussiness and only cares about charging for services that are done very poorly or not at all. I travel out of state and without fail always find an unpleasant surprise with my garden and lawn when I get back home, from big swaths of dead grass and plants due to broken sprinkler heads and not getting water to the most recent disaster where I asked them to do weed control,, and unfortunately, their technician sprayed all of my plants and killed most of them. Kiefer, Chris's assistant Inspected the property and acknowledge that they had screwed up and killed a lot of plants. He promised to replace them, but now two weeks later and nothing. I talked to Chris about this and his reply was "we'll schedule it when we have time and the plants are cheap enough to buy". I'm afraid I'll have to seek legal action against these people to get resolution. They simply don't care. Do yourself a favor and find a more responsible Landscape company to take care of your lawn and garden.

They blamed me for lack of enough water but two other companies assured me my irrigation is fine. I pay a year in advance. The office manager has sent rude emails to me. I hired a different pest control company and tried to cancel with 5 Star and they just informed me if I cancel now (my contract is up in December) that they would take away my 5% discount for paying a year in advance and would owe them. I will never use that company again.
