This place is haunted. Most of the haunts are upstairs not always as the upstairs open for people to go up there just because the old man who got killed in the bathtub by his wife's boyfriend is pretty intense. All of the walking ghost tour/bar crawls come here. If you come here in the month of October, you're gonna see Beetlejuice come by all the time with his pub crawl. They do have games outside on the edge of the property near the sidewalk. They had decent bartenders, but this is like a rough and temple place as far as it's simple rustic no-frills I will say this place looks like it's abandoned during the day before they open. It is located at the end of Hypolita St. It is probably two blocks from the visitor parking garage. You would immediately come out of the parking garage and head down. Cordova can't miss it. It's on the corner across from the bookstore and the other corner is Flagler College. This is the place to come with your friends, get rowdy and obnoxious on the patio and they don't give a shit. read more

Asked for an old fashioned. The bartender said he didn't have the parts so it was basically a shot for $11. The haunted upstairs is inaccessible. I am not sure what they are doing to this place but it all looks like it's under construction. I nearly tripped and fell on the cords for the lights on the wall. read more

The foods good and amber is a great server. We get seated quickly and always get great service.

Terrible waste of space and food and the service beyond sucks they don't care about the customers and food don't even go there...

We only had 1 drink here because Steve the bartender was extremely unprofessional and beyond rude. He was extremely condescending though I do have to thank him. When he heard us saying that we were going to find somewhere else to go, he told us to go next door because the bartender there, AJ, was bored and could use the company. Absolutely pitiful. I remember the wonderful Scarlet O' Harra pub and this is far from its former atmosphere. It reopened as Scarlet Rogue in 2022 under crappy management. First let me preface this as saying I own a very successful 12 year restaurant in Florida and looked forward to a fun weekend at St. Augustine after my own restaurant was FULLY BOOKED all week. We could hardly recognize the place with literally no one inside except the rude employees that were all gathered at the bar laughing and drinking. After a few minutes of sitting literally right in front of them, we were finally asked if we wanted anything. My wife said, "we're here so we might as well try it ". So we ordered a very common drink that they apparently needed instructions for. I had asked for four roses bourbon but saw they made it with something different. When I asked them, she rudely asked if I wanted them to make it again? I said no and that I would drink it anyway. Then ordered wings and hummus which took 47 minutes!!! For wings and premade hummus??!! We got them after asking for them TWICE. Keep in mind the staff were gathered around talking and constantly cursing. I heard multiple four letter words from the staff and a clearly drunk customer that they continued to serve. I heard , "fu(k, cu&t, muther f'er and many others CONSTANTLY !!!! I said my wife was sitting next to me and the drunk guy said, "fu(k it, we're all adults here " not a single person from the staff even attempted to control the language. The wings were clearly cold by this time and the hummus (pulled from the refrigerator), was followed later with hot peta bread. Why didn't it all come out together??? No idea. I could go on and on but long story short, we left as quickly as we could. We will never be back. read more

We were in St. Augustine for a week and came here twice - once as part of a haunted pub crawl and then came back because we had so much fun. The place is clean, the decor is pleasing and welcoming. AJ was our bartender and she was phenomenal - recommending drinks and talking with us. (We love the Florida tea shots). We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. read more
