I have an audi a6 quattro with the 4.2 v8 and dual pipes. I also had 2 mufflers already purchased…read morethat I needed swapped onto the audi and needed the tips swapped as well. While in springfield I was quoted 2 to 2.5 hour and $220 to $275 to install by 5 different places. I called exhaust pro back in taylorville and he said he could work me in that day. He quoted me $90 to install the mufflers and swap the tips. The mufflers were about 1" too wide for the space and had to be angled which also meant installing and bending some extra piping. I waited in the waiting room and watched him during the install because I know how the job should be done and want to make sure it's done properly. After building a few cars and road racing with the SCCA I'm very anal about work done on my vehicles especially if it's something that I don't have the equipment to do myself as in this case. I watched Bo take at least 70+ measurements during the 1.5 hours it took him to make sure everything fit as if it came off the factory line. Even when he bumped into and knocked the alignment off he didn't just eyeball it (like I've seen some places do to people's cars) he went back and measured everything all over again. When all was said and done he let me walk under the car and inspect everything. He did an awesome job at an even better price. Will definitely be doing business with him again as well as refer his services to anyone needing exhaust work. Its nice to know there are still honest and hardworking professionals out there in this line of work.
