I had tried another makeup artist for a trial, and after a slightly lukewarm experience, I reached out to Anna to give her a try... I was NOT disappointed. Secondly, during my trial she was so friendly and easy to talk to, and she really paid attention to my needs and requests. She also took the time to show me lots of different options for all sorts of things (eyeshadow, blush, lip color etc etc) which I really appreciated. She also took photos (before/after) and copious notes so that we could successfully recreate my look for my big day. I will be getting married in Santa Rosa, and traveled from the Bay Area to have my trial-- I was skeptical if it was going to be worth the drive but IT WAS SO WORTH IT. I didn't want to wash my face at the end of the night, I felt so pretty! Bravo Anna, can't wait to have you be a part of our big day. Quick note: Just a heads up, my makeup trial went for about 2.5 hours, which I did not anticipate. It was TOTALLY fine, but just make sure to allow for ample time as she definitely gives you a lot of attention--she does not need that long for a regular makeup application, the trial just includes a lot of actual consultation which I really appreciated.

I did not want that and was worried I would not find someone like that. My friend forwarded Angelina's yelp page to me and as I looked at the photos uploaded, I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly reached out to her and her response to me was within a reasonable time. Months prior to my wedding, whenever I had questions and asked her, she was able to answer me. Comes a day before the wedding and she gave me a quick reminder of my appointment. Very kind of her. Gave her the address to my hotel and my room number, and the next morning, she arrived on time. I was still getting ready with my mom and she was able to wait a bit for us to get settled in and set up her stuff. It was my first time seeing her and her first time working with my hair and face. Due to budget restrictions, I was not able to do a trial run with her. She asked me what make up and hair style I liked and she was able to execute what I wanted within 2 hrs of time. She also did my mom's make up and finished everything on time. She was super duper kind to both me and my mom. Made good conversation with us while doing our make up and my hair. When I was done, she showed me how I looked and I was so shocked to how beautiful I looked. My parents, brother, and guests all said I looked very natural and beautiful. My husband who saw me during the first look could not look away and also said I looked beautiful. He was so satisfied with it! Angelina is reasonably priced, quick, and does an amazing job. Overall, a good experience and would recommend to everyone needing make up and hair done. Would book her again for a special event. I have worked in the beauty industry for over 11 years and have always been skeptical about having "permanent lashes" done. I have worn countless pairs of strip lashes but have never taken that plunge for these kind until Amanda told me all about them. I LOVE THEM. I got the classic set because I already have a fairly decent amount of natural, dark lashes. Did I mention how much I LOVE THEM!? NEVER have I had any sort of reaction to the glue she uses. NEVER have any of my lashes fallen out in clumps like I've read/seen horror stories about other "lash artists" work. They are natural, soft, fluffy and beautiful. I love not having to wear much eye makeup at all. Of course after you get them done you have to have fills. Our lashes fall out naturally just like the hair on our head does, so I'm on a 3 week schedule for my lashes. I've thrown out all my mascara and oily eye liners because there is simply no need when I have these babies. Do yourself a favor and book with Amanda. You will love your lashes.
