We reserved our seating through their Concierge, Kathryn, who was incredibly helpful and welcoming to my family and me. Zach then guided us through the wine list and helped us select some fantastic wines to try. He was courteous, professional, and genuinely seemed to love what he does, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We tasted LaRue's Blanc de Blancs, LaRue's Brut Rosé, Stoller Reserve Chardonnay, and Stoller Reserve Pinot Noir. Every wine was delicious and beautifully vinified to showcase and complement each varietal. I enjoyed the wines so much that I actually signed up for the Legacy Wine Club! Overall, it was a truly memorable experience for my family and me. The combination of beautiful scenery, exceptional wines, and wonderful hospitality made this visit one to remember. I absolutely adore this spot for having N/A options which on this day was an orange creamsicle inspired slush. Service was really accommodating...since I can be quite the slow sipper at times. They definitely did not make us feel rushed. This is such a picturesque spot and I couldn't help but adore the giant tree with the tire swing in the middle. People were absolutely trekking across the lawn to enjoy it. This is a rather family friendly winery and there were tons of families, a bridal shower, and just folks enjoying the day. I liked it, so I emailed, asking if I could visit. My goodness, what a visit! Nancy (Sales Manager) was quick to accept my request, and Gino, who poured the wine, was not only oh-so-cute (in a unique way only us Old Heterosexual Ladies can appreciate) but more importantly, to this Old Lady, Oh So Knowledgeable! Gino not only grew up in Piedmonte Italy but also had recently passed his WSET test so our discussion was absolutely fantastic (I had passed WSET 2 and was self-studying; thus the trip to Oregon, to experience). He passed on insights from the higher certification and gave me really nice charts and graphs to help me understand "stuff." And so charming. Then Pattie Bjornson came out and sat with me a bit, talking with me about the history of the vineyards and winery. WOW. I just wish my brain had been bigger so I could have asked better questions. For someone who is studying wine as a retirement hobby, this was a stellar experience. For those of you who are not? They have a stellar selection of both reds and whites. I opted for their standard tasting, which just scratches the surface of the wines that are available from this great, boutique winery. Don't get me wrong, I love the big boys, too, but there is something extra special about going to a smaller winery and enjoying a fantastic wine in an atmosphere that is more intimate. It's like finding a hidden gem next to another gem! What a treat! I was served by Becky, who was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. In between wines, I enjoy their Sparkling Water, which is alkaline. And the service is knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. The building's achitecture was designed by the the Frank Lloyd Wright of Oregon who created a Treehouse effect in the tasting room. My favorite part of the atmosphere is being outdoors. The amphitheater holds their "Live on the lawn" concert series this summer with food and wine available at events. This is a fantastic place in wine country to Unplug and enjoy nature.

The spinach artichoke dip and bacon-wrapped dates are a must. But the thing that'll surprise and delight are their wood-fired pizzas. They encourage bringing your own picnic/snack which we did, but they have a $20 charcuterie board for sale as well. The tastings were $15 for 6 tastes (3 whites and 3 reds). Service was friendly, unhurried and knowledgeable. The wines are made with their own grapes and they have some interesting grape combinations (like Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir which resulted in a fruity red wine) But I eventually opted for the single grape variety and bought a bottle of Chardonnay and a bottle of Pinot Noir.
