Secondly, while your policies may not have broken any HIPPA regulations, there is a HUGE difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. Your policies and practices may be legal...BUT...they are NOT inline with patient expectations and common-sense interpersonal dynamics. I have been seeing Dr Xia for 10+ years.he has been able to make my life bearable in many ways and instances.his staff is always been friendly courteous professional and go above and beyond his staff has always been kind courteous and professional and the doctor has gone above and beyond the call of duty. the recent acquisition of Dr Kalinas was in my opinion an excellent addition to the staff. when all the other hospitals and doctors told me I'd be in a wheelchair by 09 Dr. Xia the past worked with me and made recommendations and has done all he can and all I can really say is 2015 and I'm still not in a wheelchair. one for instance I went in just for an appointment on Saturday past I was in terrible pain but his team was definitely done for the day and without hesitation or questioning Dr. Xia said that he needed to add me for a procedure immediatelyand his staff jumped right to it and Dr Xia was able to perform the procedure and as of today I am as pain free as possible. and when I went in on Saturday I could hardly walk. this is just one instance of the on going details of what's been happening for the past 10years with Dr. XIA and also with Dr. Kalinas. without intergrated pain management I do not know where I would go and I would probably be in that wheelchair.

They do not hold MD degrees or have the proper knowledge or training to see patients. I am also switching practices because of this terrible experience and her rude demeanor. I have been a patient at this practice for approximately two years. I can honestly say that Dr…read more Khan, Dawn, and Trisha have always been professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Unfortunately, my experience with the Hinsdale location has been extremely frustrating due to ongoing organizational and scheduling issues. On three separate occasions, I drove more than an hour for a scheduled appointment, only to sit and wait before being informed that the doctor would not be in that day. On two other visits, my appointment was running more than two hours behind schedule, forcing me to leave without being seen. Scheduling by phone is equally problematic. Calls often go unanswered, and messages are rarely returned in a timely manner. When a callback does occur, it can take several days. In addition, there has been an ongoing billing issue involving Medicare that has still not been resolved after five months despite multiple attempts to correct it. While I have confidence in Dr. Khan and appreciate the care provided by Dawn and Trisha, the way this office is managed is unacceptable. The lack of organization, communication, and follow-through has led me to begin exploring other options for my care.
