First of all, I was looking for HELP - not necessarily narcotics. "Doctor" Kondelis specifically stated, "There is NOTHING I AM WILLING TO DO to help you". Secondly, while your policies may not have broken any HIPPA regulations, there is a HUGE difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law. Your policies and practices may be legal...BUT...they are NOT inline with patient expectations and common-sense interpersonal dynamics. Again, in my opinion, Dr. Kondelis is the ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTOR I've ever seen.

Would not consider continuing treatment without ketamine against my doctors order's and my wishes and when i did it for them i nearly died they abandoned me and that put me in a nursing home for 2 years and on deaths doorstep still 7 years later never recovered still was given last rights and if not for my lawyers wife talking me and doctors out of it i was headed to hospice nearly dead anyway. They were doing the paperwork. Karina swears she didn't but the information my lawyers have says different. I have evey call email vmail and letters. Dr. Kennedy did a toxin release on me when severely dehydrated and a day later i was in icu for 3 weeks came out to restart and they refused to honor the plan including restarting all my natural effective therapies. Left to die from August 2019 till Feb 2020. Sad i liked her and him but malfeasance and abandonment. No way oh i have more to say so expect more. Grifters didn't write my therapies home items nor proper nutritional diet. So many things they didn't follow through with is insanity. Malicious negligence.

I had a disappointing experience at Oak Brook Medical Group. During my first visit, the staff was…read morefriendly, and the doctor recommended X-rays, which made sense at the time. However, nothing else happened after that (all the other places I have been before got the X-ray results right away and, based on that, they performed some adjustments). I was sent home and left waiting in pain for another week (my availability and their schedule were conflictual), only to be told at the second appointment that they had a treatment plan for me, which is fine -- costing over $1,000 after the insurance-- without having provided a single session of actual therapy. They insisted I either pay the full amount upfront or commit to a payment plan, and when I asked why I couldn't simply pay per session, I received a vague, unhelpful answer. I also asked for a copy of the treatment plan and was only allowed to take photos of it with my phone -- no printouts, no email. As a conclusion, after two weeks, I left with the same pain I came in with, and no treatment whatsoever. I've since started seeing a different chiropractor who is actually helping and allows pay-as-you-go, which is how it should be. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Oak Brook Medical Group.

They do not hold MD degrees or have the proper knowledge or training to see patients. I am also switching practices because of this terrible experience and her rude demeanor. The GAE really helped eliminate the pain in my knee. I was surprised that this 20 minute in office procedure was so effective. I highly recommend this Pain and wellness clinic to everyone.

I went to Ascend pain and Wellness about 2 years ago.I had pain in my left leg. I got a steroid…read moreshot in my back, and it helped for about 1 day. After twenty four hours the pain came back just as bad. I went back to Ascend Pain and Wellness and they prescribed some pain medication to help for the pain. I explained to them several times that I was experiencing pain from the shot. They could care less , it fell on deaf ears and all they wanted to do was push some more medication towards me or give me another shot , which I wasn't going to do , because I didn't know what kind of pain that would cause me after the first one caused pain that I had never had experienced before. After 2 years, I'm still experiencing pain and discomfort from that steroid shot. I would never go back to this place and I would recommend going back to Because the doctor who gave me the shot is a clown , as I was talking to his pain specialist josephine , I could see him clowning behind her computer screen with his fingers on the screen, as I was trying to explain to her about the pain of discomfort I was going thru because of the shot. I would go somewhere else and avoid this place all together. I'm so glad I didn't get another shot because I don't know what kind of problems that would have caused for me on top of what i'm already going through.
