So I next thought of the giant PGA superstore, but even though it was a Friday, they had no fitters available as they both had the day off. On a Friday, really? Surprised, I went down the list of stores from memory and thought of the Wide World of Golf. Kinda far away, but why not, I'll try that. Max Farlow from the store greeted me promptly, fit me with a great club at a great price and before you know it, I was well pleased with the purchase and the treatment. Funny how a regular guy from a smallish store can make one feel special. Well done, Max Farlow and Wide World of Golf.

Glad to see that Golf Your Way was alive and well and nicely stocked with a impressive selection of golf clothing and merchandise. I ended up buying a pair of golf shoes and proceeded to try them out during my indoor round of golf. I never thought I could actually play an entire 18 holes of golf within an hour. This is a great family run business where "everybody knows your name". So stop in when you get a chance for a quick round of golf and maybe a beer or two! Keep up the great work, guys!

They have improved my game a lot. The courses are a lot of fun to play and they have several games to choose from if you don't want to play normal stroke play golf. The owner and his son are very friendly and helpful. I think the only downside, which is slight, is that their parking lot is small but they are working on remedying that soon. All in all, 5 out 5 in every way!

With that said, it was the most rewarding day ever. Bill never pushed us along, in fact he made sure that we tried many club heads, shafts, loft adjustments, and even grips. Let's just say that I've done a process like this before and ended up with a nice set of clubs, but they were "off the shelf", and "their" fitting was NOT a fitting. I can't comment on the club build yet but the process with Bill Greene at the Meridian Idaho store was fantastic!! Highly recommend doing a true full bag fitting.

I recently got back into golf following my retirement last year and playing golf very infrequently. My clubs were at least 12 years old with steel shafts and I had an even older putter. I am now in my mid 60s and I read that Graphite shafts and new technology could possibly help my game (at the very least, make golfing more enjoyable as my swing speed declines etc.). I went to the PGA Superstore and was fortunate enough to have an appointment with club fitter Max Archibald. I can't tell you enough how patient, knowledgeable and helpful Max was. I thought I wanted certain clubs based on my research, but after working with Max, we determined that I did not need the expensive clubs I was willing to purchase. He could have tried to upsell me, but instead, Max put me in the best clubs for me, and at a lower price. When I went in a couple of weeks later looking for a new putter. Max remembered me and took the time (without my making an appointment) to help me choose the best putter for me. Because of Max, I joined the Players Plus Club there. I would also like to thank Sam Sutherland who helped me pick out a driver and Adam who works up front and is always friendly and willing to help. They have a great crew working there, and I would recommend, that if you are looking for new golf clubs or golf equipment, that you should visit the PGA Superstore in Boise.

My family and I went in to get the set of Callaway XR 13. We walked saw two staff members who…read moreneither one greeted us, one in fact continued stare at his phone as he sat on the counter of the store. We walked around for a bit then I walked back to the front and asked for help, I stated online says you have 3 sets in stock. The kid up front said online was wrong and to maybe try Dicks instead. He didn't bother to even look it up on the computer in front of him. There is no value in going here, in town in the PGA store, a handful of nice clubhouses and Dicks. Nothing is discounted and they don't even have customer service, I wish I could be paid to do nothing all day as well.

I am now comfortable with my swing and club distances and looking forward to improving my short game and putting over the winter months. I have visited Golf 365 and worked with Randle to figure out some issues I have been having with my…read moreclubs. After three major back surgeries being able to golf is wonderful. Randle has helped me shaft length and grip size on several clubs I just couldn't hit. He has not tried to sell me a new set or left it up to "what I want" as they often do in large retail stores. He has made a few adjustments to a couple of clubs, re-gripped a few, and watched me swing my driver and offered me some suggestions. On my stance. I have gone to Golf 365 because I trust them and Randle has no let me down. I highly recommend them as a great source of all types of help with your golf equipment. I know they also offer lessons and simulator time but haven't used these services, no doubt also very good.

The absolute worst Golf experience I have had in a very long time. The Marshall drove up as we were…read moregetting ready to tee off at one of the tee boxes. As we got ready to tee off, he started questioning our handicap and said we should be teeing off in different tees. He then walked behind one of my other playing partners and glared at him as he started to take his shot off the tee. Claimed we were holding up the course though there was nobody in view the entire hole behind at that time. When I told him I didn't appreciate him standing behind us and calling us out, he claimed he could do whatever the hell he wanted as he was the starter here and if I didn't like it and wanted to argue he was gonna go grab the pro and have me thrown off the course. I told him I wasn't here to argue and I'm just gonna head home. And then he proceeded to tell us if he had his way we wouldn't be teeing off any of the tee boxes today. I told him I was sorry that he was having a bad day. He then started cursing and muttering and so I turned to walk away. He then jumped in his cart and then took off back to the pro shop. Paid for 18 holes, but left after 12. I should have read other reviews. Will never go back to this golf course. Gets 2 stars because the man in the pro shop was nice and welcoming and the course, though unimaginative was in good shape.
