Waited 25 minutes for food, finally got someone to help me and they made my order . ( At least 4 other families that ordered after me had gotten their meals ). I ordered a salad and a kids meal pizza. When I got my order it was in correct . Short staffing made it difficult to even get someone to try and help make the order correct ( forgot to add the chicken). When I had been there 1hr I asked for a refund and the manager on duty couldn't do it then so would take my information down . ( that doesn't usually happen) so I asked for a new salad (simple chicken avocado comb) . They asked for my other salad , to inspect I assume ? At this point I have been in the store for 1hr 15 minutes. Mistakes happen, people call in, but communicate. Then , if you continue to make mistakes at least issue a refund or offer to remake the food . read more

My husband and I don't live in Texas and haven't been to a Schlotskys in awhile so, we had questions about the menu which she answered kindly! Delicious, disappointing, inconvenient. Well, I am a long-time fan of Schlotzskys so I feel the need to apologize. Schlotzakys, I am sorry that I decided to come into your store and spend money. Service was abysmal at best, the cashier rolled (his/her?? Not sure here) their eyes at my wife and I, and didn't acknowledge us at all until we told them we were ready to order. Then it was eye rolls and snarky demeanor. My sandwich was delicious and amazing as I would expect from Schlotzskys, tender juicy beef, one-sided bacon, that signature bread, yeah, a damn solid sandwich!! My wife's sandwich on the other hand..... Simple order, turkey bacon with no lettuce, tomato, or onion. The first sandwich she received was made the default way, with all the things, sent that one back. Sandwich #2 came with the onion, sent #2 back. Sandwich #3 had tomato. After sandwich #3 we spoke to the manager about our experiences. She quickly offered a full refund and to go to the back and make the sandwich her self. Needless to say sandwich #5 was super tasty and on point!! In all honesty this place deserves 1 star, after the debacle with the cashier and the numerous as daich issues. I placed an order at 12:35 on the app, got to the store and waited for 40 minutes in the line, gave up on the line and went inside to be told my food still wasn't ready. This is at 1:20. The two workers in there were moving as fast as they possibly could. Absolutely piss poor management to leave 2 team members alone. I left with no food. I spent the entirety of my lunch break trying to get a sandwich and some soup, and went back to work starving. This place is so ridiculously expensive, the food is mediocre, and unless you have an hour+ to kill it's an incredible waste of time. We went to this location occasionally whenever we want something filling and also a quick bite to eat! We usually go to the drive thru to order, but we had dine in before. The food quality isn't consistent every time we went there. Some days the produce on the sandwiches felt like they were trying to stretch out as long as they can. In my opinion, their bead is the singular consistency and is the best part of this place. They seem to keep their store pretty updated but often their chip selection varies on what the either order for the week or what they are supplied. I'm not sure if it's a production issue or an ordering issue though. read more

Schlotzchys is so great for a sandwich shop because they have so much VARIETY! They also have nice patio sitting areas. The choose 2 really changed my mind and made me want to come here more often because you can practically pick everything on the menu for the choose 2: half sandwich, soup, flat bread, pizza, etc. it's an amazing deal! I love all of the options. The BBQ chicken pizza has always been a classic favorite of ours. We did a call in order at this location on the 4th of July. My husband ordered the Turkey BLT without mayo. He literally can't stand mayo. He picked up our order and brought it to his mom's house where we were visiting. We opened our sandwiches, and because he was really hangry, he was almost apoplectic when he saw what we both thought was mayo. He stormed off to confront the staff for their egregious act of putting mayo on his sandwich. In spite of having a very long line of drive-through customers to contend with, when he walked in, the woman who assisted him with his sandwich issue (who remembered and referred to him by name no less) very calmly looked at his sandwich and explained, "sir that's not mayo, that's melted mozzarella cheese. I agree it looks like mayo, but I assure you it is not." However, would you like me to make you another sandwich? My husband said it was one of those moments where you wish the ground would open and swallow you up. He profusely apologized, and brought his sans mayo sandwich back to the house with him. Shout out to this woman who handled his "issue" so calmly and with absolute grace, on a very busy holiday. This location is different from the one where I live as it is a stand alone location and doesn't appear to have a drive thru. The patio area has a lot of seating, including a cute pair of love seats. We had pulled up 2 minutes before they opened and were the first customers to walk in. That is part of the reason I am so baffled. The floor was sticky as were the fixtures for lids by the soda machine. The assistant manager who took our order was a bit pushy on adding cheese to the sandwich and charged/served me a medium when I started out asking for a small because I knew I couldn't finish a larger sandwich. She also did not give us our receipt so I did not know I was incorrectly charged until they put the sandwich in front of me. When I went to the counter to inquire, three different people saw me and froze. No acknowledgement, no telling me someone would be right with me, just staying where they were, staring at me. They all looked to the assistant manager who came and asked what the problem was. I told her I didn't have my receipt to see what she charged me but this sandwich was not a small. She gave me a refund on the entire sandwich, but I got the distinct impression that it was to get rid of me and not to show a genuine apology for the mix up. I informed her that a refund on the entire sandwich wasn't necessary as I have no issue for paying for what I asked for. I don't need or want a freebie, but again felt like I was being given one to go away. Everyone has an off day but because we were the first customers and the store wasn't clean, I feel this lack of service is more indicative of a training issue. Staring blankly at customers who approach the counter with questions isn't acceptable either. The food was perfectly fine and the delivery time was acceptable. However, working in the service industry, I know the minimum expectations and the service/attitude as well as the cleanliness bring it down to just okay. Luckily, I have never been to a location that didn't serve fresh ingredients so I am always glad to see that at each location. read more

Never written a review, and never wanted to be one to be one to leave a negative review but I'm frustrated. Love this place. However ordering delivery I have a few warnings. You will never get your pickle with sandwich, ever (thought it was a one time mistake initially but nope I've ordered delivery multiple times now and it's always been the same). I understand that that's a pretty petty review but as a pickle lover it is quite annoying not to get one when you are supposed to. Also don't bother with paying for add ons because you won't get them. And there will be at least one mistake when it comes to the sandwich (either something left off or something on there that you wanted removed) ALWAYS is from my experience. First time here. Ordered a small turkey sandwich. Really nothing to write about. It was very bland. Small hint of a smokey flavor from the turkey. The turkey was super dry do to the heating of the thinly sliced turkey. The bread it was served on looked like a focaccia bread, but it was hard as a rock. Very disappointing. I wouldn't really recommend this place but MAYBE I ordered the wrong thing.... I'll have to see what other options there are and hope there's something better. Normally this is a nice place but tonight it was awful. The place was filthy and there was so much coverup perfumed freshener in the entry the air was toxic and unbreathable! Schlotzsky's is good but they are a little too proud of their food. The prices are really high so I will only go if I have a coupon. The food here is comparable to other locations I've been to but during peak hours most of the tables are dirty. I used the drive thru for the first time today and was surprised when I opened my bag and found someone else's order. I shouldn't have been so shocked since the girl working the window handed me my drink and later returned to the window and just started at me blankly wondering why I was still sitting there. She realized she hadn't given me food and then snatched the bag near her and handed it to me. Once I discovered the error I had to turn around and drive back and go inside to have my sandwich remade. With an expanded menu you can find healthy options as well as tasty Cinnabons for dessert. Thus location has always had friendly service. Sometimes they can be a little slow, but not today. I've visited this location a couple times... Ordered the same thing every time, a California flat bread. I'm not happy with how they make it... Looks very sloppy avacadoes just thrown into the box it looks like. Barely any chipotle sauce I didn't ask for light. Now I usually would never write a bad review on one of my favorite places to eat but I am very dissatisfied . i used to work for schlotzskys so i kmow exactly how to make it and exactly what it should look like.
