Veggie supreme pizza on gluten free crust
    Aaron M.

The food looked good. The service was faster than expected. I really like the options for gluten free and vegetarian. The service was good and very polite in the drive through and said when I left have a very good night.

As always, sandwiches were great. But our order was to go and we didn't get the 2 cookies we paid for.

No soap in men's restroom, otherwise the food was good. Usually very satisfied at Schlotzsky's, but lack of soap was definitely a downer!

Great food and amazing customer service. The sandwich was fresh and so was the iced tea. Clean bathrooms too.

Yummy food & worth a tiny bit longer wait than drive-thrus close by. Friendly staff. Restrooms okay but do reflect frequent travelers' use.

This place doesn't look like it has much to offer from the outside but if you're looking for an amazing sandwich, made to order, then this is the place to go! They don't skimp on toppings. We got the Italian sub, Italian sandwhich and club (plenty big enough to split amongst kids)

It was not loaded thick with chicken salad and I commented on how little it had. The taste was different too but it is homemade and I think they use sweet pickles. The Roost's chicken salad is far superior in my opinion. The club sandwich was decent; however, it was not overly huge like a photo I saw previously. My husband, who typically cannot finish a sub, ate it all. The banana pudding was a big disappointment! It had an unusual, chemical taste and just 2 cookies. The portion also was very small for $4. I honestly could not eat it and my husband agreed that it had a chemical taste. The brownie with peanut butter top was ok. The brownie was dried out but, I think it was free. The cost was $28 for 2 sandwiches and the pudding I could not eat. Trying to be honest because other things on the menu may be awesome. We just would not order what we did again if we decide to give it another try. 3 stars because the club was ok and I did finish the chicken salad sandwich.

Normally, I don't consider people from St. Louis to be credible deli evaluators, but I was desperate and made the hour drive to Grapevine. We got there at 11:15 and the line was nearly to the door. Within 30 minutes, it was well out into the street. That was a promising sign. The sandwich menu covered the entire wall over the counter. Lots of non-New-York sandwiches like Cubans, gyros, etc, but over in the left corner were the classic Ruebens and pastramis. I went for the latter. A REAL NY deli usually has a few soups like split pea and chicken noodle and matzoh. No soups. Bummer. They had a half dozen sides - 3 kinds of potato salads and a few slaws. I went with the German potato salad. The drink option was spartan - they tossed a styrofoam cup at me and pointed to the soda fountain. The pastrami sandwich was OK for Texas. A SUPER pastrami sandwich on hard rye can get me moaning like Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally" -- only I don't have to fake it. The German potato salad was watery and bland - I should have gone with the mustard potato salad. Turnaround was on the slow side. Napkins = paper towel roll on table. Flimsy plasticware. The overall vibe was affordable utilitarian. I'll give the sandwich a 4, everything else a 3. Next time I'll drive the extra half hour to Cindi's.

It's an older, well-worn place without trendy décor or manufactured ambience--and honestly, I felt right at home. It was a quiet Saturday morning with only about four tables occupied. The staff was busy preparing for the lunch crowd, while the customers who were there clearly seemed to be regulars. I ordered the eggs and onions with lox, and it was absolutely delicious. I'll be back for a sandwich sometime soon. I understand why people keep returning. Sometimes you simply want a quiet, comfortable place where nobody bothers you and you can enjoy a genuinely good breakfast. Carshon's has been providing exactly that for almost a century.

I was seated and ordered a Reuben since it's one of my favorite sandwiches. The waitress asked if I wanted corned beef, pastrami. or half-n-half. I chose half-n-half because I wanted to try both. I will probably choose the corned beef next time as I thought it tasted better than the pastrami. I have nothing bad to say about the sandwich. It was pretty good. Exactly like how I expected a Reuben to be. I would definitely order it again. The service was good. I was informed that Carshon's was a cash only restaurant so I brought cash. It turns out they apparently take cards now but with an extra processing fee.
