I think the adults had just as much or even more fun than the kids. Courtney, the owner was a sweetheart. She was personable,, detailed, and you can tell she love what she did. The Safari starts off with the deers and it moves up to llamas and moves up to some of the bigger animals. It was such a great experience. Lots of screams and laughter. There are enough animals for the young ones to enjoy and feed. We are definitely going back. It is a great activity for family and friends with a wide age range that would enjoy it! I am located in Plano so it is a drive but it would be a great event to do for the day and find some cute little restaurants out there to end the day.

You'll meet lots of deer, burros, some huge bison, wildebeest, antelope, and spectacularly gigantic bovine specimens. You'll see a wide range of antlers, wide and thick, mature and juvenile. Entry fee includes several generous bags of food. Maybe the number of bags is based on number of occupants in the car. That's also how they determine fees. Animals come up to car windows to collect the treats. My 5-year old great niece enjoyed it all immensely, as did the adults in our group. She kept saying "Adorable." The self-guided tour provides scenic local views. Animals and kids provide lots of laughs. Highly recommend, especially to entertain your youngsters. There's a small walk-through area just before the exit. Good place to stop and let the littles shake their legs and shake off some energy before your drive back.

Probably about the same amount as the average Joe or Jane. They've got fish in tanks on displays, as well as crocodiles (not in tanks though, but in their own enclosure). They've got an exhibit on models of fish caught over the year. Some get pretty big and impressive as well as an insane amount of lures. They have a quick little show with a giant tank and diver in it teaching about the different fish there. We followed it with a tram tour around the fishery. They showed where the fish was kept and explain the process. Towards the end they'll offer to let you off so you can walk back through their marsh walkway or take you back on the tram. We opted for the walk since it was such a beautiful day out and it was scenic and a good short walk to get the heart going. My favorite part was the fishing pond they have. They'll even set you up with rod and lures to fish there as part of your admission. Before they send you off, they'll give you a quick little spiel to get you started. Ask if you're needing more information. The man running this station is super helpful! We didn't catch anything but it was still a lot of fun. We did see others catch fish. Highly recommend, especially if you have children!

He especially loved feeding the giraffes and the budgies. One of the budgies flew up on my husband's head and just stayed there. The buffalo was a little scary to him when it decided to take the whole bucket of food and ripped it out of my husband's hand but it was all okay. The grounds are nice and clean and the staff was very friendly and kind. It is a little pricey but when you think of all that goes in to keeping these animals and how educational it is, it is well worth it. We spent 4 hours there and my grandson wants to go back. The park is divided into Front, Middle, Back and North Safari zones so pace your food or the animals in the back will miss out. TIP: buy LOTS of feed. We purchased 4 four-bucket packs and ran out of food! The boys quickly discovered which animals were 'bad boys' (their words) who clamped their jaws on the food bucket and pulled it out of their hands--Zebras and Camels--and which animals had insatiable appetittes-- Ostriches and Llamas! After winding through the safaris, seeing hundreds of beautiful animals and feeding many, we stopped for a walk through the Safari Trading Post. The boys fed a giraffe and Budgies (separate food needed), explored the pond, petted goats and browsed the Safari Trading Post. Despite the Texas heat, many animals were out and actively looking for free food while others soaked in the ponds. Hearing the boys screaming and laughing and seeing their smiles was priceless! A fantastic find--we've already planned another trip!

You might get stabbed by rusty nails. Long version: We ( my mother, my 2 year old, my 3 month old and I) visited almost 3 weeks ago. The "manager" Monica (short lady , red hair ) charged me for my 3 month old. When I questioned why I was paying for him to enter when he can't play , she asked how old he was. I clarified his age and she reiterated that they charge for babies too because they have an area for them. In that area was a monster truck climbing statue and some climbing blocks. Mind you he can't even sit up on his own let alone climb or crawl. I went back and asked why his age mattered if they charged further everyone. Monica then said "if they are 2 weeks old then we may not charge". It seemed as though she was making up lies as she went. She couldn't give me a receipt. She says she didn't have the contact to any manager. Then she says she was a manager. Just a bunch of bs. My mother stabbed herself on some type of nail or dining in the "newborn place area" . It was just horrific. We said that we'd be contacting the BBB and calling back to shush to an actual manager, as well as contacting someone for the safety concerns. Maybe 20 minutes later she called my phone saying "we heard about the complaint and are issuing a refund " I knew it was her trying to save her job with a hush refund because we hadn't filed a complaint yet. Don't go here

This was my first time at the Waxahachie location and they did not disappoint. The layout kind of divides the space into 2 areas, one side for the adventure stuff (zip line, etc) and one side for the more tame activities (slides, ball pit, etc). Plenty of stuff for kids of all ages to get into. My only complaint is that the layout makes it difficult to keep an eye on your kids. Also, the teens working the food area were super overwhelmed with the number of orders coming in and it wasn't even really crowded the day we visited. They could definitely use some extra help in the kitchen. Overall, I highly recommend if you've got littles that need to burn off some energy.
