I love me some Schlotzsky's!! I remember when they 1st opened decades ago. I was a kid & didn't appreciate them. Turkey, bacon, club-add black olives, jalapenos & avocados. This is my go to sandwich!! My daughter's also love the Turkey bacon club-it's delicious!! It's great as a leftover, but try to eat it fresh cuz the bread is crispy & everything is YUM! They have excellent pizzas, as well. I always loved their combination special. The mushrooms & black olives are what made it special. Everything here is excellent! Cookies, soup, salad, sandwiches. You can NOT go wrong eating at the Schlots, that's what I call it. I'm happy that my kids love it as much as I do. Definitely recommend this sandwich shop!! Reminiscent of the days we had one of these in Iowa. Good food, solid service, and a unique offering. My wife got the Strawberry Chicken Salad. It was a nice mix of greens with tender chicken and food toppings. I got the 6 inch Fiesta Chicken. It came in's soft and delicious bread, with massive amounts of chicken and toppings. Very tasty! A 4" would have likely been enough. Polite service and food came out quickly. Dining area could have been cleaner, but we did find an OK table. Brings back the memories..give it a shot. read more

The service was great. The lady that took our order was friendly and the person that brought us our food was friendly as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was great. We used to have Schlotzsky's in the suburbs of Chicago, when I saw the deli I got excited. It is not as good as I remember. The bread is ok. The meats are cheap. Reminds me of Carl Buddig lunch meat. But my sandwich was loaded up with lots of lettuce and toppings which I like. The chips are good. The cashier was really nice and helped accommodate our orders. Our sandwiches came out quick. Simple but clean restaurant. They have pizza and cinnamon rolls if that interests you. They were pretty busy for the Saturday lunch hour so people must really it. read more

Three of us had lunch here yesterday. Originally it all started well, decent sandwiches etc...when almost finished, my son noticed three small hairs on the cheese of his almost finished sandwich. Beyond a gross feeling. We ended our meals, discarding the rest and left. On the way out we walked by the counter to look at the people preparing food. One "cook" had a fairly long beard and he was not wearing any net or protection over his beard, likely where the hairs came from. Also, one woman who was preparing food was not wearing any protective gloves like the other workers had on. She was clearly handling and making food with her bare hands...grabbing cheese and bread and tomatoes etc... beyond gross and likely in health-code violations. We will never go back here again. read more

Had a Greek salad with extra chicken & extra dressing, was amazing. Husband had a medium deluxe original sandwich that he loved, staff was very friendly (Thanx Kelly!) & food was served to us in about 5 minutes... Entire building including restrooms was clean. It was about lunch time and this place was right there. This is my first time at Schlotsky's. I always thought they were just a sandwich shop. They are much more. After studying the menu, I decide on the pick 2 combo. I chose the half order of mac & cheese and 1/2 a 10" combination pizza. My order was out in a reasonable amount of time. The macaroni was cooked perfectly and not over cooked and mushy. The cheese was kind of bland and gooey. It needed a little help from the hot sauce bottle. The pizza was loaded with toppings. Sausage, pepperoni, black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes. There was a skimpy amount of cheese and sauce. It was a good tasting pizza, but it had been cooked on a pan that was extremely oiled leaving the crust saturated. My fingers were very oily from handling the pizza. My overall experience was just ok. If I happen to return, I think I will stick to a sandwich. read more

My husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Saturday. Since it was our first time in we took a minute to study the menu. They offer a wide variety of pizzas, flatbreads, sandwiches, half and half, salads and wraps. There is also a Cinnabon in this location so if you want a sweet treat after your meal it's right there. I decided on the caprese sandwich. It is served on a ciabatta bun with mozzarella cheese, tomato, lettuce, roasted peppers, olive oil, balsamic vinegar. The sandwich was messy but good. Waited 15 minutes for my sandwich only to see it was wrong, they remade it but had to wait another 20 minutes. Wasted most of my break, thought about just leaving. Also the co-workers were very loud and rude, could obviously hear them talking and saying they would add things anyway or just no when asked to do something. The food is great and always made fresh. I am a huge fan of the jalapeño bun. Then for dessert you have to share a cinnamon roll with someone as it is a great way to top off your meal. The only complaints I have is that they run out of the good soups way too soon/often and they need an online option to order and pay. We use this feature a lot and pick up food for others and be able to pay for our own families. read more

Oh no what has happened to this place? When ordering we had to wait almost 20 minutes. We then got our food and they for sure gave me someone else's sandwich. I ordered turkey and got an Original. What really made it strange and why I was upset was I got one half of a sandwich on a medium bread and the other half on the small. If you look at my picture you will see what I am talking about. This is not the first time I was disappointed last time I stopped in I had to wait 20 plus minutes at the drive-thru. I will be limiting my visits here in the future which is a shame their food was so good in the past. read more

Hadn't been here for years, now I wonder why. Got the Original with double meat and it was so, so good. The toasted sour dough bun makes the sandwich, although what's inside is great, too. Comes with smoked ham, Genoa and cotto salamis, cheddar, mozzarella, black olives, red onions, shredded lettuce, tomato, mustard and signature sauce. They serve it warm. Mmmm! read more

I waited 15 minutes after being the only person in the store. The sandwich was delicious as usual, but they screwed up and brought me a pizza about halfway through my wait. I got my food after about 15 minutes at the same time somebody else who came in 10 minutes after me. No apologies from any of the staff. We recently visited Schlotzsky's for the first time in about 20 years. There was no particular reason for the long absence other than location and not going to sandwich shops too frequently in general. Each of the 4 sandwiches were well-made and delicious, and that unique bread was as good as remembered. We'll return soon. Maybe this year! read more

Schlotzsky's is hands down one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. I can say this with 100% certainty as I no longer live near a Schlotzsky's and anytime I travel back home I make a point to stop and get the largest original sandwich they make. It is sandwich perfection! read more

Staff is nice, well trained and customer service focused. Sandwiches are great, love the combinations they have. If you are looking to cut calories, this may not be the right place for you. Their sandwhices really fill you up. They are hard to eat while on the move, very sloppy, but delicious. Prices are a bit high, but considering the meat and produce, it makes sense. Drive through time is not acceptable (over 15 minutes), the food is expensive, and my sandwich still had onions even though I told them twice not to put onions on it. I have always enjoyed Schlotzsky's sandwiches and pizzas, so being back in WI, I had a hankering for one for lunch. This location is very confusing to when you walk in to it. Because you will walking in wanting Schlotzsky's then you will smell Cinnabon and want a cinnamon roll. Splurge, get both if you want. Food was good. They claim they have curbside during this time. So we ordered our food. Pulled into where it says curbside. Called the number. They tell us to come in or go through the drive through. That is not curbside. So be prepared for cold food waiting for others in the drive through while your food is done and waiting for you to pick it up. Or be prepared to go inside.
