Instead, what I got is a Lumpy uneven yard preventing me from using a new McLain reel mower specifically purchased to cut the Zoysia grass. They refused to correct the problem and put the blame on its subcontractor and wanted me to pay an additional $750. Currently looking for a competent yard leveling contractor to finish the job. Never again! Performance matters more than Appearance!

Asked my new know it all, Claude and it said to get 3 items, all were found at Green Acres Nursery & Supply. The lawn and garden is going to be treated with Nature's Creation Cedar Repel, Flea Destroyer and Medine Orange Oil Concentrate. The dog gets another bath and vinegar rinse. I never looked to see the price of the items, priceless in my opinion.

A…read moremonth ago (March 13th) I purchased some maintenance: soil injections for 7 trees and tree trimming for 2 trees. It took 2 calls and 2 emails before I was finally contacted for the injections (March 25). Now, I've called the store, my salesperson and emailed the booking dept checking status on tree trimming. Finally got an email April 13th that says "I do see you purchased it, but it did not populate on my end. I will reach out about the date as soon as I receive that paperwork." It's April 16th and no response or update. I have used another tree trimmer in the past who comes out same day! It's ridiculous at this point. If you're busy at least tell me. Will not use them for maintenance in the future.

This is a note regarding my experience with the owner of the location when she sent a private…read moremessage and invited us to come back in spring when their inventory is larger as well as to request that I remove a photo that I had placed on the original review. The photo wasn't of anything bad or wrong, it was not misleading or a misrepresentation, it was a legitimate photo of the outside area of the location that she says is shared with a landscaping company, tho what landscape company I do not know. The reasoning stated to me was that the landscaping company didn't want the photo of their area published. The photo was of the locations surroundings just as any Google maps search would provide, so it's not anything that can't be seen anyway. It showed their "shared space" which being "shared" still makes it part of this businesses space which serves as sort of a parking area. The rating on this review is based on the point of contact by the owner to manipulate the initial review by requesting removal of a photo that is a true representation of what is surrounding the business, part of their "shared space", this removes what is also a visual to allow others to find this out of the way place that is not on any main road. I don't feel it is appropriate for a business to private message a Yelp member for the sole purpose of manipulating what is on the review.

I accidentally waited until the busiest season for landscape work, so I quickly found out that I was looking at a wait of at least 3 weeks with the three nurseries I called before I was referred to Meador Nursery. They have a huge selection and were very friendly and knowledgeable when I asked a hundred questions. Also- their price for my medium-sized tree was better than other places I got quotes from- including delivery and planting. Meador Nursery was the only place able to schedule a delivery and planting of the perfect tree at very short notice... and the tree looks great at its new home. Thanks, guys! You saved me. We ended up getting one fig tree and one plum tree. the people working there are very helpful and actually helped me save money. i was going to ask them to delivery and plant it at my house, but they told me that since the fruit trees i was buying were on the smaller side, i would simply just put it into my suv and save on the delivery fee. while planting was a pain in the ass, it didn't take too long to plant the two trees. They also recommended that i get some root growth liquid chemicals to help the trees grow. they typically have sales going on. For the fruit trees, it was buy one get another one 40% off. i'm not sure if other nurseries are offering sales, but it was a nice offer Mike was doing. Granted, i don't normally buy trees, i'm not sure if i overpaid for the fruit frees. I think the fig tree was 30 bucks and the plum tree for 40 bucks. Mike garden has a decent selection. they have items that are in the greenhouse along with a lot of other items outside. they also sell garden decorations as well.

We hav traded with Calloways for years and have always received excellent help. He left and went to the Hurst location that immediately and cheerfully took him to the plants he was looking for.
