We ordered the large tasting plate that comes with a pork schnitzel, chicken schnitzel, brisket kielbasa, aged cheddar brat, three slides (we got spaetzle, red cabbage, potato salad) and three mustards ($60). Everything was perfectly cooked and so flavorful! And perfect for 3 hungry adults :) The schnitzel was beautiful, so crunchy on the outside but tender on the inside. The brats had that pop of juices and texture. The sides were all incredible. Service was wonderful and the restaurant was very cool looking. We ate in the outdoor patio, which is dog friendly! There's nobody in Colorado cooking real deal German schnitzel with proper sides like this spot. We will drive here all the way from Denver just for lunch, which I can't say about many places. Run, do not walk to this family owned treasure. The schnitzel was spot on and fried perfectly while still maintaining a juicy profile. The kielbasa was juicy and perfect! Unfortunately, it looks like I'll be the one to break the five star review trend. There was hair on half of our food! My husband found a long dark hair in his potato salad. He removed it and we didn't make a big deal out of it. I didn't realize until after the meal that there was a hair on my friend's sandwich as well. Both hairs are visible in the pictures attached. Although this food is cheap to make, it is quite expensive at Schneider's Schnitzel Service. If you're going to overcharge, at least ensure that the food doesn't come out of the kitchen with the cook's hair on it. For the price we paid, I expected more. I'm still giving three stars because the flavor was good and the service was friendly. read more

Omg!! I assumed I would never get to eat schnitzel again after having to go gf! The schnitzel is delicious! Celiacs be aware there is contact trace contamination from the fryer though. Service is great too! This would be a perfect spot to host an event too there's an amazing huge patio in the back with a cute tiny stage. read more

Pretty tasty Schnitzel almost as good as mom made. That's saying something as this place served it hot with a light crispy outside. Also had some variety of sausages and a delicious mustard to dip in. Service was very friendly and fast. My only knock on the entire experience was they do not serve traditional HOT German potato salad. I was looking forward to that as mom did teach me how to make that and it's fire. This place makes a cold American potato salad that if at any other setting or at an American BBQ would be very tasty salad as it was good. It's like going to a Mexican place that doesn't serve tacos or a pizza place without marinara sauce. Could still be good but something is missing. I might be sounding nitpicky but that's the only reason for 4 stars. I wanted a full German experience and what I got was a good German light experience. I grew up in Iowa, with family in the Amana colonies (a small cluster of German colonies) eating schnitzel and spaetzle at family gatherings often. My husband and I ate here with my folks and his. We tried many things from the menu, the schnitzel, the cracker crusted walleye, the aged cheese brat, and most of the sides as well. Everything was really good. My MIL said, "well this is a little hidden gem...I will need to tell my friends". We even came on a hot summer day, and the little patio has beautiful locust trees casting great shade (literal shade). My mom and I were walking through old town and stopped for a snack and were incredibly impressed with the quality of food and service! We got cheese curds, potato salad, tomatoes, and a chicken schnitzel. It was more than enough for us to share (we still powered through). We were greeted by a beautiful young man who took care of us at the front and accommodated us once we sat at the bar.
