When we moved to the area, we accidentally stumbled upon Mcgraff's when a friend was visiting from out of state. Yes, there is a lot on the menu but they have everything you need. All of us tried something different and no one was disappointed. We have been here several times since as a family and there is no lack in choices. McGraff's announced last week they were adding smoked brisket to the menu everyday and any menu item with a protein, the protein could be replaced with the brisket. I ordered a brisket sandwich and tater tots. Well...I smoke a better brisket at home and let's just say McGraff's should not enter any BBQ competitions. I went with my daughter to McGraffs on Friday afternoon. I'd been told they had prime rib which is hard to find. Well, they didn't that day, so I got the Alfredo linguine with blackened shrimp. My daughter got A Philly steak with autism just. We very much enjoyed the food and the service. It was a little noisy for me, but otherwise it is now a favorite for when we want something special. We are new to the area and wanted to take our son and his wife to a local restaurant. We chose McGraff's based on the wide variety of food items. Upon entering the restaurant, I noticed the entry way floor was dirty and in need of a vacuum, the same for the dining area. If the front of the restaurant was unkempt, what did the kitchen look like? On our first visit we were impressed with the wonderful attentive service we received from our server Gabby. My wife has some problems with her back and hand tremors and gabby was very helpful in helping to make her comfortable, giving her a straw with her wine and fetching a chair cushion from one of the outdoor patio chairs for her to sit on. Her garlic shrimp tacos were outstanding and my burger with bacon and blue cheese crumble was delicious. The side of onion rings were the best I ever had, not greasy and just right crispy. We went in on a Friday night. The place was busy but we were seated right away. The restaurant is pretty loud and is a bit dark and needs some updating. We started with the queso. The queso itself was a bit bland and lacking in some spices and the chips had no salt on them at all. They were fresh but had no salt on them so they tasted bland. The side salad was pretty but they bring you too much dressing. Thankfully it was on the side. One of my dining partner's salad had wilted and brown lettuce in it. My salad was fine. My dining partners had the London Broil, one medium rare and the other medium. The medium rare one was very rare. The meat was tender but could have had more seasoning. The Mashed potatoes were made from scratch and and delicious. The brown and white gravy tasted like it was from a mix and not made from scratch. The chicken fried steak was ok but did taste home made either. I felt I could have made this meal at home. The drinks, a margarita and a mojito were awful. The mojita was made from a mix. My dining partner couldn't drink her margarita because it was so awful. Service was OK but not great. They were slow on refills, never asked how our meal, etc. Overall, the food and service are ok, lots of room for improvement but the cocktails were awful. It's doubtful we will go back. read more

It's the perfect combination- salad greens, mandarin oranges, scallions, carrots, toasted sesame seeds, diced tomatoes (I leave off fried rice noodles) and Thai dressing. And a couple of pieces of beer bread. Problem is... it's hard for them to follow their own recipe. Tonight I had no carrots, sesame seeds or tomatoes. Instead I had red peppers and onions. Not the flavor I was looking for. Sometimes it's lacking lettuce or they don't add the beer bread. So inconsistent and disappointing. I live in California but my parents live down the street and this place is definitely one of my go to's and I always have to make a stop here.
