The cashiers and helpers at the self-checkout look like they have some issues with customers. They never greet and never say 'Thank you.' If you have a problem in self-checkout, they try to teach you instead of helping you. 'Greet and Thank' must be part of their training. read more

I had 14 items in my cart and the self check out lady was like only ten items. The other lines were way backed up with carts that were packed with groceries to the top. So you have all these self checkout lanes open but you want me to wait a half hour behind people with carts that are filled to the top. Walked out and left the cart in self check out. I worked here briefly in the Bakery. This place is absolutely awful. They talk trash behind your back about employees and customers. The management is absolutely horrible. The bakery is a disgusting place that certainly hasn't been cleaned in YEARS. The Bakery manager doesn't use gloves when handling ready to eat food and follows very few of the guidelines. She told me to reuse things if they aren't "completely dirty". They don't care about you as the customer or as the employee. They expected me to know how to do everything with very little training and even threatened to write me up because I used my phone in the workplace. Bottom line is: They don't care. Don't spend your money here and DEFINITELY DON'T WORK HERE. read more

I have shopped Schnucks Wildwood for years and have been overall pleased. That has changed, more times than not, it takes me longer to wait in line and checkout than the time it took to shop. Rarely are there more than 2 checkouts open and more rare is there a bagger, if I want to go, I bag my own groceries. And now..... closing at 9pm is just unacceptable. read more

I called this store this morning after loading up my 10 month old twin babies and after calling 4 other grocery stores to see if they carried my twins formula. I'm very aware there is a formula shortage and it's frustrating, but what I don't understand is why the woman I spoke with on the phone felt the need to be disrespectful because god forbid I ask before I unload my twins and take them into a store at 6:30 am. I was having a very good morning considering the circumstances and that just crushed my soul. Every since this schnucks was renovated it looks so much nicer and they have really expanded the cheese and alcohol area to look more modern!! The workers here are so friendly and happy! read more

I have been in and out of this store 100's of times. The store itself doesn't have problems with stocking or products. The store has a problem with customer service and their employees. Connie, Melissa, and Roxanne all have massive attitudes daily. I have tried to give the benefit of the doubt many times, but it seems they have a vendetta against being kind. I hope that someone with some authority can tell them to act right. read more

Friendliest staff I've seen in a Schnucks. They actually know how to engage conversation with a customer. However, it has the worst layout and lighting which made for an unpleasant shopping experience. I felt like I was shopping in a warehouse. Thank goodness this isn't my local store. read more

First time at the Schnucks Wildwood. I usually stop at the neighboring Dierbergs when I'm passing through this neighborhood on the way to my farm. It's a clean, bright, and newish store. It was fully stocked and I found everything I needed. I'm kind of shocked at all the reviewers dining the customer service. I find it hard to believe that employees at this location would go out of their way to be rude to customers but you never know. I'd return next time I'm passing through and in the mood for Schnucks instead of the alternative. read more

Thank you again to the two kind workers who ran after me after a brief discussion where I mentioned looking for bread flour but they didn't have any. Originally believing they didn't get any in (they were in the middle of stocking shelves) but mentioned maybe tomorrow. I said ok I'll come back! (Since I was buying for my grandma and wasn't seeing her until this upcoming weekend so I had a couple days to still shop for her). I like the employees and wish I could rate this store higher but I have to recommend that people go two minutes down the road to Dierbergs. I have given up Sunday morning shopping at Schnucks because the deli doesn't open early and now on a weeknight at 6 PM it's already closed. Dierbergs is definitely doing a better job at keeping their deli and butcher staffed and that is an important part of grocery shopping. read more

It has been a while since my last visit to this Schnucks location and they still have the same great products and staff. Although I prefer the old design and colors before the remodel they still have the great products and prices. The Schnucks brand peach and pineapple soda is great. The seafood prices don't seem to be as competitive as the local Hyvee and Sprouts I shop at. read more

You know you've been living in NYC for too long when you get excited to go home so you can go to a "normal-sized" grocery store haha. This is one of the best Schnucks in the St Louis area. I can't take all the terrible customer service at this location. I have had many terrible incidents with employees that just don't care. Have to drop this review down to one star. As long as I have lived here the checkers that work at this location are horrible and refuse to help you. An employee that was an elderly woman at the self checkout today literally said she couldnt help me because my item wasnt in the system and walked away when I was trying to ring up an item that would not ring up. I took it to another checker who readily rang it up and checked me out. WTF Schmucks? I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere! Peace! read more

This is solid local grocery store that reminded me of the Safeway chain on the east coast (good and bad). It had cheaper items than the other groceries, but also had an outdated feel to it. The staff was helpful with my questions and for a quick grocery stop, I'd gladly stop in again. read more

The employees were snickering about my aesthetics rather than thanking me for my business, I would not recommend going to this location. I know they lost me as a customer and that is a shame considering I used to shop there for years. Choosing the right type of people to work for your company can really make or break it and in this case, they broke it. They glared at me as I left rather than simply saying "Thank You". They were two older women, so watch out! They do not like young pretty girls. read more

The staff in the meat section are top notch. Several times they have cut special orders for me. I place my order finish my other shopping and when I come back they show me the product and wrap it up. All this is done with a smile and great attitude. read more

Ah, Schnucks. Well, I definitely like this place better than Jewel (Albertsons), which is where I had to shop in Chicago...cause that was awful. This Schnucks is pretty nicely laid out, and have a good selection of booze (a must!), a big deli, and other grocery goodies. However, their organic selection is lacking, especially in the produce department, which makes me sad. I'm also not a huge fan of a lot of their deli meats - the turkey is always dry...not sure what brand it is, but I'm always less than excited about eating it. Overall, pretty standard grocery store that will have to do for now - til I move closer to a Trader Joe's! read more

This is my regular grocery store and there is a reason for that. Not the closest or easiest to get to for me but worth the couple extra minute drive. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The cashiers will always go out of their way to make sure you found everything you needed and make sure you know about the best deals. Pharmacy is friendly and efficient. Meat department is always fully stocked and well organized. Deli is always well staffed cutting down on wait time and the Boars Head meats are awesome. My kids are always on best behavior because they know they get a free cookie at the bakery which has a great selection as well. Produce section is top notch and always has some of the best prices around. As far as sale prices it is hard to beat Schnucks. No matter the item at least one brand is on sale if you are looking to save. The best part is that their house brands are amazing and comparable to most of the big name brands. Very open to requests! They have a great staff. Now we just need potato buns to go with those delicious specialty burgers they have. Try the deli's London broil lunch meat. It is wonderful. Buy extra, it won't last long. read more

Ya know, I have been going to this location on and off ever since it opened. I don't typically shop at schnucks but every one and a while I stop in. I went there today and boy talk about rude! As i was coming through the door the "cart guy" was going out and he basically just charged at me. He saw me coming I'm sure but he just came through like I wasn't even there. He didn't move or say excuse me. I was like wow super rude! So then I shopped a bit then i went down this one aisle I saw this older man pushing around this huge platform with wheels with the stocking items on it. He was coming out of the aisle and I was about to enter so I stepped aside to let him through to be nice. He just came through and didn't say excuse me or thank you! I just couldn't believe that! So then I went to check out through the self checkout and I think ok maybe the cashier attendant will say something nice like, "have a nice day!" sadly that never happenedt. I couldn't believe how rude the workers were there today! I've even had the pleasure of experiencing the Pharmacy employees. They aren't the friendliest bunch except for one lady there. I'm so glad i don't have to use that Pharmacy anymore! I get my meds through the mail now! I won't go back there for a long time after today. "Friendliest stores in town" slogan..lol that is complete BS read more
