I have to admit, I went back several times to try this dish. The business card that I picked up didn't tell me what their business model was... catering? restaurant? what?! So, I looked up their website and found out that they sell pre-cooked packaged food and ship it to your home. All you do is microwave the food in a bag. Wow! That's actually interesting. This concept got my noggin thinking... In late March, I'll be staying home for several weeks and won't be able to do my usual restaurant hops and check-in's. I'm pretty sure I'll be requiring their service by then. Plus, that kung pao chicken is calling my name again... For now, I'll keep them bookmarked and will be in contact with them for some delicious vegan food.

I've had the pleasure of trying the dinner and breakfast package and everything has been great! Some of the complaints I read were that they were full of salt. The nutrition information is on each package and I haven't seen any meal with more than 400mg of sodium. I'm super sensitive to salt too and my fingers swell up if I eat too much of it. In addition to the low salt there is low sugar, healthy ingredients and it tastes great! I haven't tried all my meals yet but so far I haven't had anything that isn't delicious! I've tried other meal services and the vegetarian options are always carb heavy- not with Vegan Garden! They offer some carbs coupled with a lot of veggies! And the calorie count is so reasonable! I don't feel guilty eating the meal when it's around 200 calories whereas other services are around 500 per serving. My only feedback is that the paper that the muffins are baked in is very thin which makes the muffins tricky to get out of the paper without some paper sticking to the muffin. You will eat some paper. I'm very glad that I gave them a ty despite reading the reviews and being very wary. In terms of delivery everything came as described and on time! Not a single complaint with the delivery process! They email you telling you it's on it's way so you know exactly when to expect everything! It may sound like I work for them but I don't! I'm just a happy customer who stumbled across the company on Groupon and I am so glad that I did!! Almost forgot that so far every meal I have eaten is in My Fitness Pal!! Makes it so easy!
