She was extremely attentive and her attention to detail was admirable. There were many people in our party whose native language is Spanish, she spoke to them in fluent Spanish and made them feel very comfortable. My husband and I own our own business and would be more than thrilled to have an associate with her charisma and attention to detail in our employ. Normally, I'm just whatever on american food or american chain restaurants, but this place really has me missing the food as I'm writing this review. We may have underestimated the wait at this place on a friday night, but that was on us. We put our names on their online waitlist and still needed to wait a bit after clicking the "we've arrived" button, but it's fine, I forgive them. I was slightly starving by the time we got seated and the server came out with the freshly baked bread rolls with cinnamon honey butter!! That was when I suddenly understood the hype! We ordered a blooming onion for appetizer and that thing SLAPPED. I love salted and roasted peanuts and they have that too, unlimited?! I had heard a lot of good things about their food, especially their complimentary rolls with cinnamon butter. Customer service was great, and despite it being a Friday afternoon, we were seated as soon as we walked up to the check-in area. I ordered the 12 oz ribeye with grilled shrimp, and a frozen raspberry margarita, and my partner and I shared a cactus blossom. Although I didn't really enjoy the sides I ordered with my ribeye and shrimp, the steak itself was extremely tender, and the margarita was delicious. This was my very first time at a Texas Roadhouse. I'd always heard good things about it but it's a little out of the way for me so I hadn't made the trip before. I came here with my family expecting a better Outback Steakhouse but it ended up even better than I expected They pick up the rolls for your table as they're walking you to the table with their famous honey butter. So you have food to eat the second you're sat. They also have free peanuts on the table Because it was our first time we went a little crazy with the appetizers. We got potato skins, rattlesnake bites, a cactus blossom and firecracker shrimp. The skins were cheesy, loaded with bacon and the perfect ratio of potato to topping. The rattlesnake bites are these mini fried cheddar jalapeño poppers. The spice is subtle but the jalapeño flavor really comes through. The cactus blossom I did wish had a bit more seasoning. I'm used to the Blooming Onion where the entire breading is thoroughly seasoned. It was well salted at least, I was just looking for more flavor. The horseradish dipping sauce helped a lot with that though. Finally the firecracker shrimp is a solid "bang bang" shrimp app. The shrimp were crispy and juicy on the inside. The sauce reads more creamy than spicy but still a nice compliment especially with the potato sticks under the shrimp soaking up that sauce For my entree I ordered the ribeye and grilled shrimp combo and I opted for the grilled mushroom & onion add on. It came with two sides so I got mashed potatoes with gravy and a Caesar salad. Let me tell you that first bite of steak completely melted in my mouth and I was shook. I'd never seen a casual chain restaurant nail a steak like that. I will say the fatty parts got chewier as the dish cooked down. But overall the steak was tender and generously seasoned. The mushrooms and onions were well seasoned too and the combo with the mashed potatoes was delicious. The grilled shrimp were decently cooked but the lemon butter sauce really carries it. They're served on top of garlic toasts that soak up the sauce but keep their toasty edges. The Caesar was your average Caesar, nothing more, nothing less. We were way too full to order dessert and each had a full plate of leftovers to bring home. Overall we were really happy with our experience here. And the bill ended up being cheaper than we were expecting for everything we ordered. We had a one year old with us and the staff was kind and accommodating the entire time. I always get good appetite as soon as I enter the restaurant: love watching the bread being made and the steaks on display. It's a great value at $37.99 although I still remember it being $10 cheaper when I started coming to this restaurant. The steak is always perfectly cooked, medium rare is how I like it. The salad is always fresh and crisp. The sweet potato is nicely baked and really tender. That soft, hot bread is addicting. Service is excellent because their wait staff is trained to keep bringing the bread even without being asked. They are very nice about it. And since they have a dedicated person making the bread continuously, they never run out. The free peanuts are also very good and keep customers occupied while waiting. For me, Texas Roadhouse isn't about finding the most expensive or most luxurious steak. We experimented, putting name with hostess is the same as putting it online with your phone. It ended up to be 20 min. I really wish there was a Texas Roadhouse closer to me. I would just go for their bread and butter alone. I'm convinced that the secret ingredient is some illegal substance because they are seriously addicting. I think I ate a basket of 4 bread and a thing of butter by myself. We came here on a Friday around eight and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. While we waited, we checked out the stores nearby. We ordered the house margarita and some beers to go with our prime rib, sirloin, and a rib eye. For sides, we got the mac and cheese, Caesar salad, fully loaded normal baked potato with bacon and sour cream, and fully loaded sweet potato with marshmallow. Everything was so delicious and it was a lot of food so we had a lot of leftovers to bring home. Each entrée was like two meals. We came in to use a gift certificate that was issued after a previous visit where there was an issue with my food--something in it nearly broke my tooth. We decided to give Texas Roadhouse another chance. The visit started off well enough, and our server was friendly. I ordered a New York Strip, but when it arrived, it didn't look anything like a strip steak. When I mentioned it, our server said they hand-cut all of their steaks. Before I could respond, another server looked at it and said, "That does look like a filet." What happened next was disappointing. Our server then told us he was going on break and told the other server, "Good luck with this!" Not exactly the response you'd hope for when there's a concern with your meal. Later, a manager (Tyler) was doing a walk-through when the other server pointed us out to him, apparently indicating that he should check on our table. The manager walked by, tapped our table, asked, "How is everything?" and before we could even lift our heads to answer, he was already gone. Between the food issues on this visit and our previous one, along with the lackluster customer service, we've decided we're done. This is in Union Landing and there is a lot of parking. When you arrive they have to-go staff outside where you also tell your party number/check in. We were seated quickly and immediately were served with bread. I came for a lunch in the middle of the day and the restaurant was still pretty full. We got appetizers like the blooming onion. It was good and I like it better with ranch than the sauce they served it with. The mozzarella sticks were also good and so were the other appetizers we had. I ordered a New York Strip 6oz with corn and Mac n cheese. The steak was cooked good. I got medium rare. It was cooked a little more than medium rare but was still tasty. The bread was so yummy. Attentive service, good food quality, and amazing value via the Early Dine Menu Selections $14.99 available Monday to Friday until 5:00pm. The location has tons of parking, and numerous additional shopping and entertainment options once in the area. My latest visit Was Friday April 3, for Lunch. No wait at check in, and was escorted upon walk up to a table once the host secured bread and butter for my table. Server greeted me shortly after being seated, and placed an order for a 6z Steak, and Iced Tea. The table next to me was loud, but I had brought my AirPods and embraced their ability to minimize noise. The Steak, Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potato, and Rolls were great, and the Iced Tea kept flowing. My server was also wonderful at bringing me some rolls and a Togo Iced Tea to the table at the end of the meal. Texas Roadhouse, is a great dinning space, and in my opinion sets a standard of what service should resemble when tipping is an option when making payment. Worst service and worst manager Joseph Pedro. I've never felt so blatantly ripped off in my life. Joseph Pedro is a con artist in a bolo tie, and Texas Roadhouse should be ashamed to have him on the floor. Here's exactly what happened: I walked in, went to the front meat case, and personally picked out a beautiful 12 oz New York Strip. I took the physical ticket for that exact piece and handed it directly to waiter when I sat down. I explicitly said, "Cook this specific one." He took the ticket, smiled, and said, "No problem." Five minutes later, he comes back and tells me, "We got your piece of meat, it's on the grill." I trusted him. When the steak arrived, I took a few bites and immediately felt something was off. The texture was too fatty and loose--not the firm, lean bite of a Strip. I called Joseph pedro over and asked, "Are you 100% sure this is the New York Strip I picked out?" He looked me square in the eye and said "Yes, absolutely" (Lie #1). I kept eating, but my gut said no. When he dropped the check, I caught him red-handed. The receipt clearly charged me for a Ribeye--a more expensive, completely different cut. He didn't just mess up the order; he intentionally ignored my ticket, served me a steak I didn't choose, and lied straight to my face about it. When I confronted him about the receipt, he didn't apologize. He got defensive and forced me to pay for the Ribeye, refusing to adjust the bill for what I actually ordered (Lie #2 / Theft). I asked to speak with a manager immediately. This is where Joseph really showed his true colors. Instead of getting a supervisor, he started talking in circles and told me, "I am the manager. I'm the hiring manager. No one is above me here." (Lie #3). He tried to intimidate me into shutting up by pretending he was the top dog. I knew he was lying again because I had asked again and figured the real GM, Ben Davis, he was not there. Joseph Pedro isn't the head of anything--except a scam operation. Food comes out quickly as well despite it being busy. Personally, the foods always been consistent. My favorite is the country fried sirloin with the gravy and the prime rib. Their rice is delicious and of course, their famous rolls. My husband always gets the bone in ribeye and it's always cooked perfectly medium rare. Also, their appetizer and sauces are bomb. This was my third time visiting this restaurant, and my previous two experiences were excellent. The service, prices, and food had always been consistently good, which is why I felt confident bringing my parents here this time. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. The main steak was extremely dry and tough, and the ribs were also overcooked and lacked tenderness. It was surprising to have such a disappointing meal at a well-established franchise, especially on the occasion when I wanted to proudly introduce the restaurant to my parents. I hope this was just an off day. My first and second visits were both great, so I'm hoping my next experience will be just as enjoyable as those were. read more

5/5 Great customer service despite how popular and busy they are. The 1st time we ordered takeout, they missed a side dish in the bag, but guest relations made that right. The 2nd time in person, we got on the online waitlist which hovered around 2 hrs for most of the evening. In reality it took just a bit over 1 hour after responding to a text confirming your location at the restaurant. 4/5 food as our steak was more cooked than the requested "medium", but the grilled shrimp was great. The popular cactus blossom app was okay--would recommend it to feed 4 or more. Sauteed mushrooms were overly salty so I could not finish them. Buttered corn and fries were lighter sides that really helped balance the heavier sides and mains. The mocktails ($5 each per receipt) were refreshing, though highly iced so not much drink in the already small glass. The most irresistible food was probably the complimentary warm bread w/ butter! Gotta be careful not to overfill on these while waiting for the main food. 4.5 overall but will give a 5 for the customer service and overall experience! Good value for steak. read more

Just got back eating here. Excellent steak and service despite waiting about 20 minutes after reserving ahead online from home. I had the Dallas Steak. Wonderful and absolutely great. Chose the 6 oz and should have ordered the 8 oz one. Next time I will. Will return again now that I live closer. Just go here on a weekday and not around the lunch hour. read more

Honestly, I don't know if it gets any better for the price, $30.99 for a 16 ounce sirloin with two sides, phenomenal service, and quality is always great. But, the place is crazy loud and the wait is over an hour typically. When you come pack your patience and really the atmosphere. I love this place. Went to Texas Roadhouse on Father's Day and it was crazy busy. I applaud the workers because it seem hectic. Texas is always a decent spot to get some decent steak and bbq for the price. You aren't going to get the fancy stuff but it will at least take your craving. Always look the bread here with the cinnamon butter spread. Luckily we were seated outside so it was a nice cool breeze on a perfect sunny day. One of the steak order was cooked incorrectly but they took it back and fixed it for us. My first time at Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint at all. There's an online waitlist through a Google search so you should definitely use that but we (party of 5) joined the waitlist at 4:20pm Saturday and they estimated about 2.5 hours; however, we were seated at 5:30pm. Upon being seated we immediately got hot fresh bread with their cinnamon butter. We got 3 rounds of bread baskets before getting our appetizer (cactus blossom -aka blooming onion). I definitely ate way too much bread. But it was so soft and pillowy-- the cinnamon butter wasn't too sweet either. I got the prime rib 16oz for $36 and it came with 2 sides. We chose the Mac and cheese and seasoned rice. The seasoned rice was seasoned very well, a little on the saltier side. The Mac and cheese were also solid, plain basic Mac and cheese, nothing special but felt nostalgic at the same. You can also get it loaded with bbq pulled pork -- it was so rich and on the heavier side. Definitely couldn't finish it after eating all the bread. The prime rib was tender and juicy. The au jus that it came with was also very good. I couldn't believe this prime rib was only $36. Seriously such a good price. They also give you peanuts that are now individually packaged but the tradition is still there to throw the peanut shells on the ground. Overall, would definitely come back since this as best bang for your buck for steak! Service was amazing despite how busy it was. read more

Delicious food! I'm craving it again after just eating it! I got the Prime Rib (12 oz) well done, steak fries and loaded potatoes-- it was so good and the 2 sides that I choose with it were so filling! The prime rib was great! It was juicy, well seasoned and so tasty. The steak fries were better than I remembered as well- it was crispy and seasoned perfectly. The loaded potatoes (an extra $1.25) I wished they put more of the toppings into it-- it just didn't have enough bacon, sour cream & cheese and I tasted so much more of the potato. Service was great! Wait times for this place is always long since they are packed so be sure to join the waitlist ahead of time. The bread rolls here are so tasty as well! Will definitely have to come back! read more

I have heard about this place from so many people and decided to make the trek out. First off this place gets soooo busy! Maybe because it's the only one, but either come early or use their app and join the waitlist. Started off with the cactus blossom is it was so good. Even though it's deep fried, it's not super greasy. Gives me Outback Steakhouse vibes :) I then ordered the bone in rib eye which was cooked perfectly to my ordering and had the steak fries, nothing fancy, but good ole chain steakhouse kind of good. The ribs were meh... I didn't really like the seasoning and they were super dry, but maybe an off day. Fall off the bone... maybe because they were overdone? Service was so friendly and of course the fresh bread tops it off. Wish it wasn't so far and would come back, but keep in mind when it gets busy the place is so loud... hard to hear people at your own table if you want to have a conversation, but loved it nonetheless! read more

First timer!!! Kim (Kimbo) was our server. She was amazing!! She asked if it was our first time dining there, and she definitely made it memorable. Told us what was the best to order, brought over lots of rolls and was honestly one of the friendliest servers I've ever had. The place was packed but it was only about a 15min wait. We wanted a good steak and we knew this was the place to come. From Monday I was surprised on how crowded it was. Our server, his name was Colton and he was hands-down the best waiter I've had in years. Funny respectful, my soda glass never went empty. And our food came out quick. Really happy to see that they had fried pickles and they were really good. I had the T-bone steak with vegetables and I was very pleased. Take caution if you order and any part of the sentence you will get rare. Inside it is very lively with music and TVs all around with sporting events on. Gives you that old Americana feel.
