I've been going to Clearlyderm for years. I can't say enough good things about the practice. This is a busy office, but I've never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room. The staff's friendly and will go out of their way to help. I see the dermatologist 3-4 times a year, the Florida sun has not been my friend! As a frequent visitor, I can honestly say the practice is run extremely well with patient care, the top priority. I've been seeing Dr Weatherall for many years, in fact, I followed her here from another practice. She is extremely bright and knowledgeable. A caring and compassionate doctor, she goes above and beyond, takes her time to explain what's going on and thoroughly explains medications and treatments she's prescribing. I have never felt rushed and always feel that during my appointment, I have Dr. Weatheralls full attention. A few years ago, I was prescribed a medication that was not covered by insurance. The staff went out of their way with numerous phone calls and paperwork, to get me on a bridge program that was fully covered by the manufacturer. I was told that if there ever was a lapse in coverage, to call the office and they would supply samples. One time I left the office with a 4 month supply and a box of a topical that also isn't covered by insurance and I made a joke that the meds were valued at more than my handbag and jewelry combined! Over the years, I've had to reach out with questions. Call backs are usually the same day or first thing the next morning. When I had shingles, I called, left a message and within a few hours was told Dr. Weatherall was booked but I could see her PA Brooke the next day. Brooke was fantastic too. She was just as attentive and helpful and Dr. Weatherall took the time to stop in during the appointment. My son would see Elizabeth, who got his teenage acne under control. All in all, my family and I have all had nothing but positive experiences. read more

I so loved the services provided by ClearlyDerm. But, since Schweiger took over there's been nothing but inaccurate billings, miscommunications on appointments, and horrible wait times. As I've gone to ClearDerm for several years, it makes me sad that now I am forced to shop for a new provider as I can no longer deal with what a mess it has become. I hate this. It was never this difficult when it was Clearly Derm. Now you automaticlly get a computer voice which asks you a million questions only to transfer you to someone "who can help" and then you get a call center that cannot answer questions either. I have been a client for over 4 years and for the most part was very happy coming here. Recently there were changes made to the business and it's gone down hill. Two visits ago I got skipped over for my appointment and sat for some time before they realized the mistake. My doctor was very upset it happened and she has always been amazing, so I figured this was just a one off issue. My next visit everything seemed normal. I was called to confirm my appointment, my insurance card was taken, I updated the paperwork they provided me and I paid my 40 dollar copay as usual. Weeks later I got a large bill in the mail and I went in person to see what was going on. I was told that they recently dropped several insurers and that United was now considered out of network. I explained to the staff that I had been going for years, they called to confirm my appointment, I updated the necessary paperwork on my visit per their request, I provided my insurance card, they didn't say anything about not taking United anymore and they took my 40 dollar copay as normal. They agreed with me and signed a form saying they will be waiving the fee and just my copay was sufficient due to the issue. Weeks later I get another bill and call the billing department. They are super argumentative and seem to not care about the situation or that I have a form from their staff waiving the bill that they wrote and handed to me. I go back to the office again and explain the updated situation. I'm again waiting to get this resolved have been treated like absolute garbage. I hope the doctors look into what's taking place for many of their long term clients as I am absolutely appalled and will never go back to them again. *update, I posted a Google review and they requested to discuss the matter with me. I emailed them and was told office manager would call me, which they never did* I have read several other reviews now on Google of people being treated similarly where they were not advised their insurance was no longer taken, they had their appointment confirmed, went to the appointment and then got an insane bill. I have reported this to my insurance now and I am waiting on DVPR to get back to me. This is nuts. read more

It is absolutely impossible to speak to the local office if you have an issue post-treatment. Every number you call goes to a foreign outsourced call center. They said they couldn't apply my Aspire points so I paid full price... and then got an email from Aspire that all my points had been redeemed. read more

This place is all Pretty and new, but the service is the worse i ever being, had appointment on June 11th and they set another appointment for cist removal on my back July 25th, they said that will call back for insurance approval... My insurance never received a call from them and i have being calling this place every week, today is the 21St of July and absolutely nothing, no one do a simple fallow up request and that is it for... I just had the WORST experience with this practice! at Boca Raton in Powerline! Because of a biopsy result , another surgical procedure had to be scheduled 2 weeks ago. They had the audacity to call me the night before my procedure to ask for a referral from my PCP. Got the referral, show up for my appointment , had me waiting 40 minutes to tell me that my PCP referral is not accepted. That they need a referral from the actual Insurance Company.....what?????? Obviously, this is a blessing in the sky and God's will not to have this procedure done at this incompetent practice! And to make matters worse, I signed I release to get my medical records ASAP, but no, they still need to get an approval to do so!!!! and they wanted me to pay for my medical records !!!!! I have to say working with this office, Dr Wheatherall and her staff was a complete mess. I moved to Florida and as a new patient it took over 4 months to set an appointment. I set it for October 3 and unfortunately I had a conflict with the date needing to be out of town for business. I called to reschedule today and initially was told December was the earliest to reschedule. Then when the receptionist checked with her manager she informed me the Dr was changing her policy with my health care provider. I asked when did they plan to notify me. And was told before the appt which is next Thursday. Having had skin cancer it is pretty important I have regular check ups. And this whole experience really is frustrating and potentially dangerous. I would not recommend them at all. The way they operate their office is a reflection of their dedication and professionalism in my opinion. What a waste of time. read more

I don't recommend this place. Everything was great until they were bought out by that stupid Schweiger group. There is no possible way to contact the clearlyderm office and speak to a representative. It's literally IMPOSSIBLE. I can't set up appointments as conveniently as I use to. The patient care is really lacking and it's probably because they outsource their call center to India. I'm also curious how much of our patient data they share with this call center and if HIPAA violations are involved here. I'm not comfortable sending my patient data overseas. read more

In the past I have loved Clearlyderm and never had an issue. Visited this time on 9/19. Left a message on 9/21 with a question about my script in which they got right back with me. Left another message the following week on the same subject and as of today 10/6, I haven't heard a thing from them. 2 and a half weeks of silence. Love the people there and it's only a communication issue so feel free to go by there for any issues you may have. I won't though. read more

I went here to get a hydro facial with a boost and I really enjoyed it. The check in process was safe and easy. Temperature was taken when I got in. Filled out some paperwork. They had pens in the "clean" cup and then of course, I used hand sanitizer after. And waited for my turn. Allison was my esthetician and she was very friendly and personable. She did a very good job and explained the procedure as she went along. She ff immersed a few things but didn't push me towards a procedure. I told her I didn't like a spot on my cheek and she said you could laser it or use a cream- one of the creams I used in the past made my skin peel. So she said I should check at home. She asked if I wanted a new mask to put on after the procedure which I said yes and was grateful. The office sent a follow up text to see how I liked it. The Boca office on Palmetto Park Road has deteriorated significantly. The staff are incompetent . We experienced issues ranging from being told we had no appt when it was confirmed the day before when we called; waited 45 minutes to be seen by the PA, Elizabeth, with whom the appt was made, were told the appt was not with her and my child as eventually seen by a different PA who we were not familiar with and didn't make the appt. with. My husband is a physician and he too was appalled at how a medical practice could be so poorly run. We had previously held this office in high respect as our daughter received outstanding care by one of their physicians 9 years ago when diagnosed with Mersa. Finally, the medication they were supposed to call in to Publix pharmacy for which we provided a phone number and address, was called into a pharmacy in Tampa! We live in Delray and never requested a Tampa pharmacy, nor did the office mention they were calling it into a pharmacy in Tampa. Please save yourself the aggravation and find a different Derm office. I highly recommend Palm Beach Dermatology on Congress Ave near JFK where I go. Dr. Judith Redd is outstanding as well as the other physicians. The office staff ant Palm Beach Dermatology are organized, intelligent and efficient. read more

By far the worst dermatologist office I have EVER been to. I came to Clearly Derm due to a cyst on my forehead that needed to be injected with cortisone and I left Clearly Derm with a half inch deep hole in my forehead. The doctor suggested I come back and have them inject saline to fix this huge indentation they created on my forehead. So i did just that; i made a follow up visit to fix the atrophy that was created by the doctor. Firstly, the office charged me for my follow up visit, a visit I ONLY needed to fix a hole that THEY CREATED. Secondly, the saline injection did NOT work. I paid but I was furious. I called the office multiple times to speak to the office Manager, Rachelle. After many phone calls and being told repeatedly that Rachelle would call me back I took it upon myself to go into the office (dayS later) ; while I was there the receptionist called Rachelle personally and we all agreed upon having me come in WEEKLY for a saline solution, they assured me that weekly saline injections will do the trick. So I did just that. I took off of work for an hour and a half once a week and planned my work schedule around this saline injection. It has now been 7 months I have been religiously getting saline injections. The HOLE on my forehead has gotten much better, however my forehead is still not completely leveled and i do have a scar in that area from poking and prodding with the saline injection. For the first few months i was being injected weekly by Brooke (who is very sweet), toward the end I was told to come in biweekly; i did just that. After seeing the discoloration the injections have caused, Brooke along with the head doctor at Clearly Derm prescribed me a skin bleach that i were to use for a month. Brooke explained that the bleach should help with the scar and reassured me that after a month of using it we can always "LASER the discoloration away for you if it doesn't work." I did just that, skin bleach for a month. Unfortunately scar was still noticeable. My last saline injection I had with Brooke she assured me that they will gladly laser the area to get rid of any remaining scarring or discoloration after a month of using the bleaching cream. Brooke spoke to the other doctors at the office during my final saline injection and they booked me my following LASER APPOINTMENT to remove the hyperpigmentation that the poking and prodding of the saline has now left me. My appointment for LASER was 6/17/2022 I walked in and upon arrival the receptionist asked for a $75 deposit which was baffling. NO ONE told me prior to my appointment about any deposit. In fact the for the last 7 months I haven't paid for any visit since all of these follow up appointments are due to the issue that THEY caused me! The receptionist explained that this is Clearly Derms protocall for all laser treatments. I reminded her of my story and explained it's for a spot on my forehead; not the whole face. She still told me it was protocol so i reluctantly paid. The doctor who performs the laser came in and told me the laser procedure is going to be $200 (plus the deposit I already paid). NO ONE told me about any sort of payment. NO one mentioned any out of pocket expense when they were discussing the possibility of using a laser, NO ONE mentioned any out of pocket expense when booking the appointment for me. I was told that they would take care of the issue just like they have been with the saline injections weekly; Brooke even booked the appointment for me. I took off of work the morning of 6/17/2022 for a laser treatment that I did not get. I called the office manager Rachelle immediately; she reimbursed me the deposit fee. The hole in my head has gotten a lot better over the last 7 months; however it is still not completely gone and now I am left with a discoloration of a scar on my forehead. Cortisone can cause skin atrophy that can last 6-12 months and it can be permanent. Although my atrophy (hole in my head) has gotten much better it still is not completely gone and i am now left with a discolored scar on my forehead. I obviously don't know if mine is going to last 9,10,11 months or a lifetime. I am very upset, their customer service is horrendous and they have poor communication among their staff. Clearlyderm is very deceptive in their billing practices. For every visit, there are always surprise billings to the patient. They will also not hesitate to send you collection letters. It is also very difficult trying to get anyone to answer your billing questions. You are much better off finding a more reputable dermatology provider. read more

I was having a breakout -Worst than I've ever had during puberty. Breaking out all on my cheeks and neck, not my usual breakout spots. Dr.Conrad came up with a new face routine that cleared up my face in almost 4 days. She was kind, thorough and promised me that we would figure my skin out. And she did just that in one visit! Was very nervous because the reviews are all over the place. "Love them..... Rude... Just want money..." It's like jeez! That doesn't help me decide! Well, I am very happy with my first visit! I went to the Boca office, because I needed to get in quickly. The medication I had to be on for my endometriosis caused a huge acne flare up. I saw Jayme or maybe she spells it Jaime and loved her! I felt she really listened and understood my issues. She agrees with me that there are foods that cause acne and the inflammation. She gave me two prescriptions to try. I have tried so many and hope for the best with these new ones! I recently moved east so that is why I changed my dermo. She also gave me diets that are filled with foods that help inflammation. Also gave me a blood test that she did herself to find allergies or things that cause inflammation in my body! Carla ( hopefully spelling that right) was really nice! I was nervous because there was one post saying the nurse was rude... Carla was great! Super sweet and empathetic to my situation! My co pay was 50 dollars. She tried to get me to the cheapest route to get the medication for my face! So she isn't trying to just get my money! She cares! Thank you! So happy to have gotten an appointment with her! Well I got got again! Don't come here.... I initially called letting them know I was interested in scar revision or scar removal. I was called back and they confirmed what my intention was and I booked an appointment. They decided to book me with a dermatologist that could do absolutely nothing about scarring or provide a cortisone shot for a blemish I inquired about.... ok? So I went through the appointment a little confused about what I was doing there. They gave me a cream and prescription.... for scarring? Don't think so. When I brought up my scarring since the dr said nothing about it to me, I was told she doesn't do that that I would have to book an appointment with another office down the way that could help me .. LOL so you bait and switched me into an unnecessary appointment... So because it's part of my goals to get my skin where I want it to be this year I quickly booked the actual appointment that I had wanted. Doc told me I needed Botox and laser resurfacing. Here's the problem: reSURFACING. Scars are not on the surface. They are under the skin. And I was preyed on once again. She gave me Botox which improved my scar minimally. To which we decided to book a resurfacing appointment. She tried to tell me she only does full face but I said- hold up! I'm not going down this road again, you fix the main area of concern and we can talk about full face lol. Glad I had my own back and got a sample before I wasted over 2k... My resurfacing appointment before hand was a nightmare. They forgot to call my prescriptions in and did so last minute, because as the dr told me I "fell through the cracks".. why because you weren't getting $2k out of me? Go to the appointment all is well all goes smooth, doc checks up on me via text which was nice and the only reason for any stars at all. As I'm healing, I see she totally did not listen to my request. This was not the procedure for me and I knew it. I came in knowing what I needed after extensive research. I think doctors have an ego sometimes that if because a patient researches too much they don't know what they're talking about. The entire staff from the front office to Dr. Amanda Bienenfeld are very professional. Making appointments is very easy and the wait is very minimal. Dr. Amanda Bienenfeld is one of the best dermatologists. She takes her time and explains things in terms that lay people can understand. I would trust Dr. Bienenfeld with any of my family members. When i arrived the office admins told me i didn't have an appointment. I explained to then that i made an appointment through ZocDoc and they asked me what is that? I ended up waiting 1.5 hours for them to figure out what Zocdoc is. I was ultimately squeezed in as a walk in to see someone but it was very frustrating and a giant waste of time. It took the admins over an hour to confirm my benefits. I went up to speak with them 4 times and they kept telling me we just need to verify your benefits and then you'll be seen. And hour and a half later they still had a verified the benefits. At this point I've been sitting here for 2 hours. Still here..... read more

Not one to usually give negative reviews to businesses after being there once, but it's safe to say I probably won't be back here ever again. I came to this office for a persistent skin infection, that has become generally worse and worse; and the doctors recommendation was " If it gets worse, go to the ER" which, is the WHOLE reason I'm there! I know I'm difficult to treat with a long list of antibiotic allergies, but the doctor didn't even look in my chart to see what I'm allergic to, and wanted a specific list of what my allergic reactions consisted of (she couldn't take "I can't have that" as an answer". I felt rushed after getting interrupted multiple times, and leaving with a diagnosis of "I don't know what that is" The only positive part of my experience was the nurse that was in the room, she was polite, nice, and very attentive. read more

I went in for a consultation for BBL Laser and Dr. Conrad noticed a unusual spot on my chest. She wanted to do a biopsy and I told her it's just an age spot. She insisted on doing a biopsy that day. Thank goodness she insisted. Found out it was melanoma. They caught it in time. I finally did the BBL on my face. Again, Dr. Conrad did an awesome job. I can't recommend Clearlyderm at all. The doctors and PAs we saw were great, but the manner in which the practice is run is horrible! You can't call the location directly. You have to contact the switchboard. Sometimes they call you back and sometimes they don't. On several occasions when my son needed a prescription refill or I had a question - after waiting several days without a call back - I had to physically goto the location and ask for a refill at the check in desk. They recently made a mistake with scheduling that resulted in us having to pay 2 co-pays (at $50 each). One copay for the appointment and one to ask the doctor a question after. We had issues at least a half dozen times - and we're pretty easy going people. A lot of your experience with an office is with the staff, billing, scheduling and phone calls. If you are happy to ignore issues with all of that, then I guess head over. To me, it doesn't matter how great a doctor is - if their staff is subpar, it's not worth it. Any reply comments from the business owner to my review I suspect will be apologetic and laden with excuses. It's too bad no one wanted to address my concerns when we were patients. Calls to a manager were not returned. A one time issue can always be explained. But consistently poor service - that's evidence of core problems with the business. Mixed reviews are a sign.
