Immediately after, moisture entered the watch, and the buttons stopped working. I drove back, and they refused to take responsibility. Moisture had already entered the watch so I asked them to at least cash me out for the G Shock (which was only a few years old and water proof to 200m, I'll remind you). Ali refused, wouldn't give me a refund for the battery replacement, and wouldn't replace my watch, even though they did not make sure the watch was sealed properly. He claimed it was wear and tear, and that it was my fault and he doesn't take responsibility. NEVER trust them with your more expensive jewelry, considering this is how they treat cheap $100 G Shocks.

Therefore, imagine my understandable great dismay and dissatisfaction when I brought in a common Casio PRO TREK to have its rechargeable battery replaced. The initial associate whom I'd handed the watch and described the issues (battery not holding a charge; ABC features causing recovery mode; no beeps; etc.) to was a moron. He cluelessly inspected the watch with a puzzled look and repeatedly asked about it features and the problems, then suggesting that I should leave it overnight. My fair interrogative inquiry to the idiot: "There've been many other customers coming in here for the same thing. Why are you acting like you've never done this before!?" That was when another employee (boss or manager?) came over with an attitude. However, this one did show proper knowledge and promptly, correctly diagnosed that my Casio should get a new battery installed, BUT would cost 75 fucking dollars(!) and take a few hours. Again, "read the numerous reviews" as I suggested to the second individual, who faslely argued the rechargeable battery for my watch cost more, while also stupidly implying that in all the years the shop had been operating--with many customers visiting--no one had ever brought in a watch with a rechargeable battery. So, having enough of the bullshit from the two dumbasses, I curtly left. Subsequently, I ordered a $15 rechargeable battery online, watched a 5-minute video, and proceeded to replace the battery and reset the watch myself. No pointless, useless watch repair shop necessary.

I don't typically leave negative reviews, but my experience with Sierra West was extremely frustrating and impacted a significant part of the engagement process. I was given a hard deadline for the completion of my engagement ring, which they assured me they would meet before my flight for an out-of-state proposal trip. Despite confirming with them the week of the trip, the ring was not ready by the promised date. I was offered a temporary ring, which didn't compare to the one I ordered nor did it end up fitting her at all, and this diminished the special moment, as my fiancée couldn't show off her ring while we were on the trip. To make matters worse, once the real ring was finally ready, it was the wrong size--half a size too big. This resulted in additional delays while it was resized, meaning my fiancée couldn't wear or show the ring to anyone during that time either. What surprised me most was the lack of accountability from the company. All I got was a casual apology and, "We aren't sure whose fault this is," with no attempt to offer compensation or make up for the disappointment. I would have been fine with the situation had they taken responsibility for their mistakes and offered something in return, as I had originally planned on purchasing both our wedding bands from them. While mistakes happen, the way they were handled left me incredibly dissatisfied. read more

They listened to my concerns and asked if they could take a bit more time to refine the repair. They ended up laser cutting the chain to perfectly match the original pattern, and the result was fantastic. While the experience had a rocky start, I truly appreciate how Jared and their team stood behind the quality of their work and upheld their commitment to customer satisfaction. I left feeling confident in the quality of their service and would recommend Jared for their dedication to making things right. Their team really does care about customer service!
