This company is horrible and prays on the elderly, $500 dollars for a 10 min job and that was already dug up by the elderly owners. Only needed a Sch40 PVC 3/4" elbow and a 3/4" coupling also didn't even filll in the hole back up with dirt when done left for elderly owner to do. They also convinced owners to replaced a 3/4" valve replacement for the next day for another $500 dollars so a total of $1000 dollars WHAT A RIP OFF, ELDERLY'S BEWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED. read more

Schuelke Plumbing and Construction finished a shower remodel recently for me and I can't say enough about the company. Gary the owner gave a me quote for a shower remodel and could start in 2 weeks. The start date came and Gary and his team showed up on time and worked everyday until completed. Gary is honest and his communication is 100%. His deposit is 1% or $1000.00 which ever is less as stated on the contractors board unlike other contractors that want 3/4 down and can't start for 3 months. I am sad that I have to update my review as I have used Schuelke for at least the last 7 or 8 years. I could always count on Robert to show up in at least a couple of hours. When I tried call the number on his card it was out of service. I called the main number and was informed Robert was no longer with the company. I figured I would still give them a shot. My water heater was leaking so I asked what could be done. They called back pretty quickly with a quote for a total replacement. No talk of repair or coming out to look at it just a cost for total replacement. I asked what it would cost to at least get someone out here to drain is it so that my floors wouldn't continue to get soaked. I never got a call back, they left me hanging. I found someone else to do it and they did the same job for $1000 less than Schuelke would have and they came out almost immediately without having to play phone tag. read more

I have an issue where my washing machine drain line keeps flowing over. I called Schuelke, their receptionist was great, and they were out here within an hour. :) The technician ran a camera down the line, showed me what needed to be done, and was very thorough and explained everything. Unfortunately for me it turns out my pipe has rusted through, but in the past I've had other plumbers come out to 'fix' the very same issue, only for it to return within months. No one until today even told me that I had this issue. They would always just 'snake-and-run'. My husband and I appreciated that they took their time and were honest. Found a mold issue in my bathroom back in July 2022. Called Schuelke, they came out and fixed it. Did a good job, was quick, responsive. A couple of weeks ago, I found a wet spot in the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom that was fixed. Called Schuelke out to take a look, thinking it might be a warranty issue. Very responsive, they came out that day. Said they would need to cut the wall to see where the leak was coming from. They determined that it was human error, water getting on the floor due to shower curtain not being closed all the way. Said they could fix the wall, do mold remediation for around $800. I said no, I'll do the repair myself. But they did recaulk around the tub and walls. After the recaulking, the wet spot came back. I made sure it wasn't because the shower curtain wasn't closed. I did a little investigating myself, determined they did a bad job caulking around the tub. When you lean on the walls, you can see a big gap between the walls and the tub at the base. I called Schuelke up and told them I found the real cause. I was thinking they would take care of the problem now, fix the hole in the drywall they had to cut, fix the carpet that was damaged, do the mold remediation under warranty. Turns out they said that those walls are not made to be pushed on and that it was my family's fault, we caused the problem by leaning on the wall. So you are telling me that no one leans on the wall in the shower? People don't lose their balance and are not allowed to lean on the wall? Women can't lean on the wall to shave their legs. When you clean the shower, you are not allowed to press on the walls to wipe it down. This is crap. I couldn't believe they refused to come back and fix this. They did offer to come back and recalk. All this damage from them doing a bad job at calking in the first place and blaming the cause of the problem on my family. I don't think I will be using them again. They were great in the beginning, but wouldn't take ownership of their mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, we just need people to own up to it and take responsibility. You can give them a shot, they were responsive, professional and nice, up to the point where they had to fix their mistakes. So just hope they get it right the first time. read more

Called Schuelke Plumbing to fix a exterior leak on a water Line that was causing damage to the stucco. Not only did they show up the same day, but was very professional while helping me out. They fixed it within the time quoted and the work was done very professional and clean. After the work was done, I paid the service technician in cash, and didn't realize I gave him more money than quoted. He drove back to my house to return the cash!! They promised a service call three times and I'm still waiting (6:32 p.m.). I've waited for a service call all day with no result. The minor valve replacements gave him a little trouble and I could tell it took him some extra effort and time but rather than giving up and telling me I had to replace the whole unit, he stuck with it and was able to repair the leak, ultimately saving me money... Very overpriced and will tell you that you need services that you don't. Quoted me $5000 for a service that I ended up paying $600 elsewhere. They were under the impression I needed my repairs done right away so I believe they overquoted me. When I told them it wasn't an emergency as I had another property to stay at, they contacted me days later saying they would offer a discount. Even with the discount, they were thousands more than the company I went with. Not sure if it was because I was a young female, but I'd do your research before choosing to work with this company. I'm in a rental property and there was a leak under the house. Robert came out to assess the situation, this was going to be a pretty big job as the leak had been there since prior to me moving in (nobody realized it). Robert, Chandler, Andres and the main boss man (I forgot his name) helped me tremendously. They gutted my bathroom, vanity area and kitchen because the water had went into walls and we had mold. Though the job was longer than expected (mostly because my landlord was not being very cooperative) it came out perfect! This company did plumbing, dry wall, painting, cabinet and granite installation, new toilet, tile work, snaked the pipes and fixed a water leak. All from water damage I had in my home. First of all I phoned this company and was put on hold for 9 min before being helped ...I saw there 68 ad for service ..I scheduled an appointment that was to be between 10 and 12...finally at 11:55 I called to see when they would arrive I was told that they would call the service man to find out when he would be at my home...she never called back...so I waited 15 more mins and called another receptionist and got the same run around ...finally I get a call from the plumber set to come out and he proceeds to tell me that there never was a appointment slot even open for that day....all he said was oh sorry.....I waited for 2 and a half hours made many calls and had I not called the horrible service number I would have waited all day...IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE 100 I WOULD.....WORST SERVICE EVER......I am on the phone currently trying to talk to a supervisor and have been on hold for 16 mins.....do yourself a favor and call someone else...their recording while you wait is the biggest bunch of lies that I have ever heard.... read more
