Not a fancy place but the perfect place for a family gathering (a midpoint between Eau Claire and a Minneapolis suburb). Food was delivered hot and efficiently to our group of 6. Four of us had the Friday Fish Fry. Bonus points from me for a perfectly slow roasted baked potato in lieu of fries. :) Two in our group ordered from the regular menu (a burger, mac n cheese), and all were happy. At the end I experienced a little issue with my payment... and the server was very gracious and helpful. I hope we're able to return to Schuggy's because it was a very positive experience. We had so much fun at Schuggy's! They are a nice big place, and they have a lot of TVs. Of course, we were there to watch football! That's why the number of TVs is very important to me. But we did also have their "wachos" - aka, waffle fries nachos. Awesome. You don't even know you need this, but you do. (They also have totchos, which we didn't try, but are probably also good, if you dig totchos!) I would recommend going here for a filling meal. My aunt got a chicken artichoke wrap with the fries, and there was so much food she couldn't finish it. We did manage to finish the wachos, but maybe shouldn't have? I know they also have live music and events, and I'll definitely be back to check that out, too! read more

Good food, good drinks! We came here yesterday, since they were a place that had the blacked-out Packers game on, and it was a pleasant surprise. The interior feels fresh and remodeled, but not overdone. It's bright in the restaurant area in the daytime. As mentioned, we were here for the game, and they had both the Packers and Vikings games on different TVs. No judgements, no nonsense, and there are plenty of TVs, even in the dining area. If you go, try the watchos: waffle fries disguised as nachos... well, sort of: nacho cheese, sour cream, grilled green & red peppers and grilled onion, so it's almost more like waffle fries with fajita toppings! Not spicy. Also, it comes with bacon, but we ordered it without it, and it came out correctly. Good selection of tap beers for a town of its size! I declined the beer in favor of Sprecher root beer on tap, one of my favorites, though the Chocolate Shake Porter certainly tempted me. Our server was relatively new, but very nice and friendly. Staff was great food is Mediocre. Our burger was overcooked and dry, pizza was undercooked, and very bland.

I'm so glad we found this little gem in Hammond WI! WOW food was amazing service was fantastic and the atmosphere was fun. If you can't find something to eat on this menu then I feel sorry for you lol. We indulged in dry rub tradition wings - YUM! Piggy Mac - whatchos - and a Buffalo sauce Bleu Burger needless to say we basically took 90% of the food home because we were stuffed after the Watchos ... will definitely come back and be conservative with ordering even though everything on the menu sounds amazing! We discovered SCHUGGYS about 2 months ago through a Groupon. We went there hoping to find a alternative to our usual stops. We had a wonderful burger with the best homemade onion rings and enjoyed friendly staff. We went back three weeks later and sat on the deck. Our server was Baylee. She was excellent and she is so sweet. It was a day of great food, service and conversation. We went back last week and Baylee again gave us excellent service with a very happy demeanor and we again had great food. Today we went to Barnboard ( the owners also have the Barnboard.) and enjoyed a fantastic meal on the patio listening to music by Poynter. Another great experience! We have joined the rewards club and have enjoyed every experience we've had at these restaurants. Thank you!! read more

Saw a sign off the freeway which directed us to some AMAZING food! Americana ambiance with clean and brewery -worthy selections. One of the best Bloody Mary's yet. Glad we stopped on a hunch. Great service for an afternoon visit. read more

While traveling to a wedding we decided to stop at Schuggys on a Friday around 9am. We didn't know what to expect since we were the only ones in the restaurant! Let me just start by saying this, do not be fooled by the fact that this place is a bad/grill... The breakfast is ABSOLUTELY delicious. Pancakes were fluffy and sweet, the eggs were scrambled and flavorful, and the hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. The best part of this breakfast was the sausage links. The links were tasty and the crispy bacon with it was a great combo. Schuggys only serves breakfast Friday-Sunday, so if you're in the area during these days please do yourself a favor and stop in for great food and friendly service. read more

Great service. So many food choices. I want to go back and try so many things! My husband and I shared the Mac BBQ wrap and it was good. I'm not a huge pasta fan so that part was just okay but the chicken that was in it was awesome! Fries that came with it were amazing too! Each time my family and I eat here/ order to go, we become more and more disappointed in the service and food. When this place first opened up, it was great! The food and service were always wonderful. But little by little everything started to go sour. The tipping point was last night, we were quoted a 45 minute delivery, nope it was double that. The only reason I found out the wait was double is because I called when our food didn't come 20 minutes past the quoted delivery time. I would not have ordered if I knew it was going to be this late, I have small kids who eat around the same time each day. My pasta was leaking out of the food container, the mozzarella sticks were stuck together, the food was all mediocre. None of it was bad, but none of it had a lot of taste. My husband and I really like to support local business, we have had issues with Barnboard (sister restaurants) and since we like to buy local we wanted to give them another chance and order Schuggys for the night. But I think we'll just start going else where unfortunately, I can't keep throwing my money away on unreliable service or food. read more

3/19/2021 First of all The bartender was smoking a vape pen behind the bar. She had a really bad attitude and was obviously trying to get people to leave so she could close. Next, My friend and I ordered martinis, when she gave them to us they were only 1/3 full so we asked why and she told us to to leave and grabbed the glasses spilling the drinks all over us. read more

Sooo good! As someone with gluten sensitivity, it's incredibly difficult to find places to eat. This place has a separate gluten-free menu and comes out with a checklist of all of the precautions they took when preparing your food. We had the bbq Mac and cheese, chicken salad, and wild rice soup and all were AMAZING! Will be back whenever we are driving through WI. read more

Stopped in to eat, drink and watch the Badgers. Everyone should stop here at least once, it's really good. Comfortable seating and TV viewing, but the screen had interference, so I took off 1/4 star. Not a fan, went here to try something new but was disappointed. Menu is way too extensive, meaning the food takes forever to actually get to the table. I may be a food snob, but for the prices I expect a certain quality and you can tell they buy cheap food, a lot of it must be precooked or they microwave it. Bacon is more of a microwaveable quality than 'real bacon' super thin and a weird texture. We don't eat microwaveable bacon in our house, but I know it when I see it (think McDonald's bacon). Gross. My husband had the Lobster Mac and barely ate any of it, he said the lobster tasted like it had gone bad. I would have brought this up to our server, but honestly we never saw her, had to flag someone down to ask for the bill and they didn't notice we barely ate any of our food - which is a common sense indication that the food wasn't good, so I didn't even bother. The menu 'sounds' delicious, so maybe we will give it another try in the future if they can get it together. read more

I'll start by saying that I'm not a picky eater. I'm not nit picky by any stretch as I've worked in restaurants for years. I get it. Figured we'd try something new as the breakfast places by our house aren't great. So we packed up the kids and hauled all the way to Hammond from river falls. Big Mistake. I'd give 1 star but the Cajun stuffed hash browns I ordered weren't absolutely terrible. The English muffin was Untoasted and the eggs were browned, rubbery, and oily as all get out but the hash browns were alright. My husbands food was ICE cold. Like straight outta the fridge cold. He got the same eggs I got and yet again the hash browns were edible. Food was super slow to come out. There was a 25 minute window where zero food came out from the kitchen and then all at once. We overheard the table next to us complaining about their food as well and the one next to them about the wait. We told our server his food was cold and we weren't interested in a remake due to the slow kitchen and crabby baby we had with us. It took asking twice and 12-15 more minutes to get the (accurate) bill. Skip this place. read more

Overpriced for the quality. Service was not very good. Both ordered burgers with bacon in the name, came with no bacon. After we said something they brought out microwaveable bacon on a plate.... needless to say we didn't eat it and left disappointed. read more
