I love a good jammy red, a bold cab, cab Franc, syrahs (in general). I've had a few Tempranillos that I've enjoyed, but not here. Maybe pour them through a Venturi or something to get the bitterness out and soften the tannins. The tasting (4 wines) was $12 per person. The average bottle on the tasting menu was $42. I didn't even finish my tasting *personal preference* The grounds are beautiful, looks like a great place for a picnic. Their mocktails were much better than the wine! There was also an appetizing spread of finger foods, charcuterie, and crudités. A live music group with a nice repertoire of memorable tunes gave people a reason to dance. Toward the end of the event, when activities started to slow, Linda provided a tour of the indoor space with casks.
