When a person becomes a doctor, they swear to help anyone despite their disease, color, religion, or belief. When the doctor turns a patient away because the patient doesn't believe in playing this outdated game of putting a useless mask on, that doctor should no longer be practicing because they are closed minded, don't believe in the science and are prejudice. The masks are outdated and many studies have proven they do not work against Covid, and after 3 years, we know it is not a dangerous virus so why subject everyone to this meaningless rule. Did we ever do these things and mask up and breath in carbon dioxide all day to avoid getting the flu? NO, we did not. So why push something that makes no sense while everyone wears the mask under the nose anyway. The NYC 110 55th street location turned me away because I refused to play this game as it is enough. Monico Hariloll wouldn't even come out of her room to see me even tho I had an emergency appointment. It is a disgrace and she should be ashamed of herself. Yes, I can be a sheep and just follow and put it on, but why? Where are people's principles??? The staff went on making fun of me and mocking me and saying well we haven't caught covid as if they are heroes and have accomplished something huge. But what have they lost along the way? Their freedom, their sense to see right from wrong, and they feel entitled to push their own beliefs on everyone else. It is a sad time when doctors no longer take their oath seriously. I've been going to Doctor Charisse Dolitsky of the Schweiger Dermatology Group in Long Beach for all my dermatological needs, since the practice was under the name of Island Dermatology. Dr. Dolitsky is very knowledgable, professional, talented and personable. Before I started seeing Dr. Dolitsky, I suffered from painful cystic pimples. Dr. Dolitsky began treating me and I no longer suffer from this condition. In fact, my skin looks and feels better than ever, as I continue to use the line of skin care products that she recommended for me. They are very thorough and knowledgeable and will be able to let you know of any issues immediately. The clinical staff goes above and beyond to hear your concerns and/or symptoms, talk through some possible solutions and tell you what the appropriate plan of care is and why! I have been going to Schweiger Dermatology in Long Beach for the past two years...I was afraid at first to switch from my dermatology practice in Woodbury, NY but the office staff has always been very accommodating both on the phone and in the office....I have made many appointments the same day which would be unheard of anywhere else. LOVE!! Melissa!! Must see her. I had stopped seeing a dermatologist for many years. I suffered from eczema and just gave up on topical steroids prescribed by so many doctors. I found Melissa this year and decided to give a new medication called DUPIXENT a shot! Its a injection (as seen on TV) for moderate-severe eczema patients. Melissa spoke with me about it and i decided why not? I LOVE IT!!! I got my first injection a month ago and i have almost completely healed. No more scratching or burning skin. This was the first time I went to see Dr. Tutrone at the Schweiger Dermatology Group. He was fabulous as was the office staff. I walked in and basically was seen within five minutes!!!! Everyone there was so personal and so informative. It was a terrific experience. The doctor was so pleasant, thorough and very professional. He took his time with me and actually really listened to what I was concerned about. He did not try to sell me any products and made some recommendations for my skin. This was my first time to this office and Dr. Linda Dodick and her assistant Daniella were amazing with my 10 year old son. He had a wart on the bottom of his foot and they both made a point to tell him everything that was about to happen before it actually happened so he wouldn't be afraid. THEY WERE AMAZING. They said he might need to come back for another treatment but that wasn't necessary because the wart was gone after the first treatment.
