NO GRINDERS, NO DAMAGE, PURE PRECISION That is their motto but the work does not live up to that. I got my shears sharpened by who i thought was a professional and knew how to handle shears. I called asking what happened to my shears why there was such a big scratch on it. Told the man at the phone that maybe it slipped in his hand when they were working on it but he then proceeded to laugh and say "We sometimes handle thousands of dollar shears and that is not something we would handle carelessly because we don't want to be liable to replace." After that being said i am still here with my shears that got damaged at Daryl Thompsons Scissor Clinic and ZERO compensation. They refuse to take fault and couldn't even just give me a refund or anything to compensate for the damages they caused. I would not recommend anyone to take there Shears or clippers. My clippers hadn't been cutting right for the past two weeks, so I searched for same day clipper repair and found The Scissor Clinic. I called and spoke with a very nice lady who told me to come right in. When I arrived, she checked my clippers in and estimated about an hour wait but they were actually ready in just 35-40 minutes. Dr. Darryl came out afterward and explained what I could do to better maintain my clippers (he immediately knew I wasn't oiling them properly, lol). We even created some quick content together. Overall, it was a GREAT experience fast, friendly, and extremely informative. The customer service was excellent, and did I mention SAME DAY SERVICE?! As a barber, that's a huge deal. Despite my highest hopes, I've always been a little disappointed when I pick them up and find they're not as sharp as I think they should be. Not this time. The service was very friendly. My scissors were sharp as could be and the turnaround time was just a couple of hours. I also brought one of my favorite knives and it too came back incredibly sharp.
