I stopped by to grab a bag of their freshly roasted beans for my espresso machine at home. I asked what they would recommend and the staff directed me to the Columbia blend over another blend due to having a bolder flavor. I really did appreciate such a thought out recommendation, because I was lost looking at the menu! Speaking of the menu, their summer menu is absolutely fantastic! A cornbread latte does seem a little out of the ordinary, but I thought there was no better place to try an odd flavor than here because I trust in their craftsmanship that much! I am very grateful that I did. The cornbread latte was very smooth and flavorful. And no, it didn't have any pieces of cornbread floating around in the drink. I will definitely be back to try more of the flavors! Cannot recommend this place enough!

They have legit coffee. Not your grandpa's coffee for sure. Any place that doesn't have a million choices and minimal add-ons is the real deal. The girl was very nice and helpful when I was trying to decide what to get. Outside sitting area is really nice. Somewhere I'd like to go to if I were wanting to get work or reading done. Not sure if it would be a place to sit if it were raining though.

Much of the produce comes from Dave's farm. I had heirloom tomatoes when I stopped there in August. The kitchen is open to the public and there is kitchen bar seating available. Shrimp and grits, Redfish, and any steak. Steaks are Hickory grilled INSIDE the building. You watch it cooked. Who does that??? Chef Dave does.

I don't like to send food back or ask for a refund because I don't want to be the reason someone else has a bad day. This is the first time I've ever had food bad enough that it warranted the drive back and asking for a refund. I packaged everything up so it's not like I ate it all, said it was bad, just to get free food. There was maybe a bite missing from each plate, that's it. When I got there I simply said hi sorry but none of this was good. The girl at the counter was initially very nice and said she never heard of someone not liking their food and that she'd need the manager to approve the refund due to the "large order". I said no worries, I understand. Manager came out and was refusing the refund saying that they always made the food that way. He did offer to make anything else on the menu. I told him that wouldn't work for us due to the fact that, as he said, it was a large order, and I didn't believe anything else would be good. He started raising his voice insisting that they would not be in business if they didn't make good food. At this point I was getting peeved and told him that I'm sure that's why they had to close their restaurant side down. He insisted that this is how they run their business and I asked if yelling at customers was how they run their business. At this point I had the male manager and two female staff yelling at me. They kept saying you don't ask for a refund just because it's bad. I said no, that's exactly how a normal transaction works. They told me to leave and never come back. I sent my husband back up, funny enough the male manager didn't seem to want to yell at him. Just a woman. TL;DR, the food was the worst food I've had from anywhere. Manager refused to give me a refund, yelled at me that he didn't care if his business closed tomorrow, told me to never come back, all over $60.

Once seated, it took 20 minutes just to get a waiter to the table. Then another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive. We had already placed our food order along with the drinks out of desperation. By that point, we were an hour and 40 minutes in with nothing but the beers we bought ourselves outside while waiting. The restaurant was not packed. There is no excuse for this level of inattentiveness on a slow Wednesday night. A party of 8 shouldn't have to fight for basic service. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that actually wants your business.
