    Half full coffee

I loved going here before work until I ordered a large coffee with no ice. I can get a small coffee no ice and it be full but not a large one?? Really wish they decided to actually fill it

I stop at this location quite frequently before heading into work and appreciate the convenience of the location for when I want a nice, sugary coffee fix before starting the 9 to 5 grind. The drive thru--and a cool one at that, nice change of pace to drive through a tunnel--fluctuates on busyness depending on the weekday, but I've taken to going inside so I can soak up a bit of coffee shop peacefulness before work. The inside will usually only have a couple tables occupied, and maybe one or two people waiting to order at the counter at any given time. I'm more partial to the candy bar lattes, which usually don't change in quality depending on who makes them. With other drinks, like the ever popular Caramelicious, sometimes the taste of the drink can shift from being too sweet one day, to bland the next. From what I've sampled of their plain coffee brews, those are pretty tasty as well (like the cinnamon creme), so one of these days I might switch away from my Zero Bar Latte favorite. I don't really go for the food options besides a chocolate chip cookie once in a while, so can't comment on their breakfast choices they have available. I do feel that the workers can have a harder time juggling the counter orders with the drive thru ones, which can be seen when they're understaffed for a morning. Not a pet peeve for me, but if you want your coffee RIGHT AWAY when settling down to do some work in the mornings, that might not happen. Everyone that works at this location has always been polite to me, and some of them have started to remember my usual, which always makes me smile because you know they take their job seriously enough to care.

Good location with a Drive-Thru and free Wi-Fi. I tend to prefer Scooters over Starbucks for two main reasons. Their coffee is not as over brewed as Starbucks so it has a cleaner taste. (I realize this is debatable and more of a personal preference) And, I love that the Drive-Thru line usually only has 2-3 cars at the most even during peak times. Starbucks on Pine Lake has 8-15 cars in line, at all times of the day. This is crazy if all you need is a cup of Joe on your way to work. Prices are slightly lower then Starbucks and they have very similar menu options so you can get whatever you tend to like. My advice, skip Starbucks and head over to Scooters. Or maybe not because I don't want to wait behind you for my coffee!!!

Great atmosphere. Music is a little loud. Wifi is fast and free. Coffee is outstanding. Back patio is nice.

Worst customer service. Workers are rude, unhelpful and don't want to be there. There is a reason Starbucks is the premier coffee house.

For many years, The Eatery has been a fixture in east-central Lincoln. I'd heard plenty of positive…read morecomments about the restaurant over the years, so I finally decided to stop in for lunch and see what it was all about. Unfortunately, the first impression could use some improvement. Upon entering, guests step into a small lobby with two interior doors--one designated as the entrance and the other as the exit. Once inside, a host greets you, hands you a menu, and escorts you to your table. Along the way, you pass the restaurant's salad bar, which should serve as an inviting showcase of the food offered inside. Instead, the salad bar was the low point of my visit. On the day I was there, it appeared messy and poorly maintained. A salad bar requires constant attention to keep it looking fresh, attractive, and clean, and that simply wasn't the case during my visit. Given its prominent location, it creates an impression that management should work harder to improve. The Eatery's menu, however, is extensive and impressive. There's truly something for everyone. The unlimited salad bar is priced at $14.99, or $7.99 when added to an entrée. Based on what I observed, that seemed a bit steep, so I decided to pass. Instead, I ordered the Smokey Chicken Stacker with fries on the recommendation of my server. It turned out to be an excellent choice. The sandwich was flavorful, the fries were perfectly prepared, and the meal arrived at my table less than ten minutes after ordering--a testament to an efficient kitchen. Overall, I came away believing that The Eatery serves solid food, but the décor, atmosphere, and overall layout feel somewhat dated and uninspiring. The appearance of the salad bar was the biggest negative of the experience for me. Would I return? If I lived or worked in the neighborhood, probably yes. However, since I don't, it's unlikely that I would make a special trip back.
