I got a cafe latte which was served in a tall beer glass with latte art Hubby ordered a beer. And I got an almond cruffin and a quiche Lorraine. Delicious little pastries. And good coffee. Brings us back to university days. Boy did I feel old. But I really like the vibe here We will be back. Btw, check for sandwiches at the left side- closer to the innovation campus. One of my favorite spots in all of Lincoln - whether to work/read alone, or take my wife on a date (when we can get a babysitter). It's on campus, so there's a low hum of studying and conversing but never loud. The staff are friendly, but sensitive to if you're in a hurry or not. I haven't had the food, but the pastries are superb. My personal favorite drink is the grenata. The right combination of flavor, chill, and the consistency forces me to drink it slowly and savor it. read more

Most frequently I visit the location on UNL's innovation campus because it's normally quiet, parking nearby, and not only they have coffee but also lighter meals and a bar if you want a cocktail or a glass of wine. Their coffee options are numerous and their baristas are always there to help. Normally would come here to study, so there's many outlets and big tables if you need to spread out study materials. Great location inside Nebraska Innovation Campus. Constantly students going in and out, studying, and lounging. Makes for a great coffeehouse feel. This place seems.to have everything....coffee, tea, beer, cocktails, wine, baked goods...who knows what else. It's really the most diverse coffeehouse I've ever been to. On top of all this, it's beautiful inside and out. I ordered the Creole latte. It was interesting...I might not do it again, but it was a drink to try once. I'm more of a black coffee/americano/espresso guy so I just chalked it up to not being my style because this place was awesome. Definitely will stick to a more original drink next time. read more

Checked out the newest location of The Mill now at Innovation Campus. It's definitely a great addition for the area and I love how spacious it is. Even with all the windows it still has that mellow, relaxed coffee shop feel. I love the repurposed architectural elements that add character throughout. The addition of an event space is even better and we hope to use it this spring for a work event which is what brought us here. It will be a nice size for the small group (40) we plan to have and again I love the repurposed, vintage feel. As part of the rental we must purchase food so we sampled the quiche. I had half of the vegetarian option and half of the bacon. We were checking taste and quantity to be sure our guests would feel satisfied. The eggy centers were soft and creamy and the crusts flaky. Overall taste is acceptable though the vegetarian could use a little seasoning. The bacon was fantastic. The quiche are a nice size and paired with fruit will be a nice, light breakfast or meal. I don't know if it would hold me over for several hours but I do think it will be adequate for our guests. They are pricey at about $5 each. I've never preferred the coffee here, it's a bit dark and bitter for my tastes, but I still drink it. Especially doctored with cream and sweetener. I had the hot toddy and it was a nice little pick me up for the afternoon. I also had a two inch high rice crispy treat with mms inside! and chocolate on top. It was really hard to wrap my mouth around but I managed. I really have no complaints. Service was excellent. Lots of people studying or reading. I don't know how often I'll come here due to location but if I need one of those coffee shop work days I'd for sure consider this an option. read more

Great place to hang out while on the innovation campus. The pop tarts look phenomenal and the coffee is some of the best I've ever had.

Went to every location in Lincoln while visiting friends for the College World Series. Good coffee and each one had a different vibe. 4 instead of 5 because the coffee wasn't consistent across the shops (quality of latte) and one location was less than friendly. I can't remember which one but i think it was the one where they have the market in town. read more

The Mill's newest Lincoln at Innovation Campus addition is sexy! The ambiance is absolutely lovely all hours of the day. The prices are more than reasonable and service is consistently good. I wish they would add a few more lower carb items to their deli, maybe some lovely salads both with and without meat, and fruit or slaws. All three times I've been here they have been out of quiche. They have a decent selection of sandwiches and pastries. The coffee cake muffin (was so good warmed with butter) is still MIA, bummer... Good coffee, nice wine selection, excellent place to study, work, rendezvous with a friend or have a date. read more

It's a great spot! Maybe because it's off the beaten path of retail America, it is a better coffee shop! Located at the University Innovation Campus makes great sense. I'm glad to see that The Mill is expanding their coffee empire but... this location isn't my favorite. Aesthetically, The Mill on Innovation campus is a mix of old and new decor that at times works but sometimes looks tacky (as you venture further). They provide lots of seating for students, but the location is a bit far from city campus, so I probably won't be visiting often. Also, I couldn't figure out where to park and ended up parking at a meter. However, I didn't have any coins and couldn't figure out how to work the Parking Meter app. So, the entire time I was drinking my coffee, I was on the look out for the Park and Go truck (in fear of a parking ticket). Annoying. Nonetheless, the products are delicious as expected and if you live close, this location could be your cup of tea... or coffee. read more

This is a gorgeous location with the most sophisticated coffee and tea in town. Delicious food as well, and I heard that they're working on more menu like food items. Mill coffee & Bistro is an oasis for freshly brewed coffee for the folks working at the Innovation campus. Fresh brew and chai are what you can expect from The Mill and they do a great job at it Breakfast, lunch and the pastries are mediocre. The lunch menu is priced high and the quality and taste is appalling. The pastries are dry and sometimes past its time. Hope they can improve on it and in the future have more people flock to it. read more

Absolutely stunning location and very big, lots of space to sit down at chairs, tables, couches, etc, in multiple rooms. Prices are very reasonable. This seems easily the nicest coffee/study location in the city. read more
