BUYER BEWARE IT IS! In 2019, I purchased a high quality Lithium-Ion battery including a 2 yr mfr's warranty from Scootertronics for my Vespa. I've always kept it fully charged and have not abused it in any way. About a year after I bought it, it began to discharge down to less than 50% after after 5-7 days of storage in the garage. I then began to keep it on a high quality Schumacher battery charger always set on the proper setting. The battery chemistry continued to deteriorate and the battery would deep discharge in 2-5 days if I didn't keep it on the tender and then. Obviously the battery was no longer reliable. Called the Scootertronics owner, he answered, told him politely that I'd take even a partial credit to buy another battery from Scootertronics. He immediately turned surly, more like downright nasty and said that there's no way that he'd issue me a credit, even if I shipped the battery back to him at my own expense. Feel free to make your own purchase decision, though I highly advise any scooter owner & enthusiast to avoid patronizing Scootertronics. He gave me jets matched up to my stage6 race bore an yasuni C16 set up an gave me tuning tips on what weights to run via email. The box arrived nearly a month later with the zuma throttle cable missing an choke cable missing with a stock minarelli manifold that looked honestly used with no clamp! I understand that you are a small shop, but you need to be a bit better with customer service if you are going to do online sales. I gave the company's requested 10 business days to ship the product and never received any notification. I attempted to call, and received a text back saying he couldn't talk. Asked about my order and never got a response. Texted about 3-4 days later for an update and he asked what the items were again; then no response. When I told him that is what I intended to do, he got very nasty and said that charge backs cost him money........so what. It wouldn't have cost him anything if he had been legit in the first place. Buyer Beware of this crook and his so called scooter company. Ordered parts online from his website and even paid for express shipping, waited months for them and never came. Called multiple times and left messages that were never returned. Finally got this guy Mike (Owner) on the phone and tells me one of the parts that I ordered was on backorder and wouldn't say how long it would take to arrive from Germany. Instead of sending me the other parts or even notifying me that one of them was backordered, I then had to follow up to find out info on my order. He then has the nerve to get an attitude with me and was just rude and condescending. I told him I just wanted a refund and he refused. I then had no choice but to call up Paypal and file a complaint against him and requested a refund through PayPal. I was granted a refund but only after numerous phone calls to PayPal and sending them my proof of purchase and a written statement about my reason for refund.
