Best decision I ever Made. As a Disney Annual Pass holder, we visit the parks frequently and I've always considered renting a scooter. I have a torn meniscus and my wife has plantar fasciitis, so sometimes my knee bothers me and sometimes her foot, walking around for miles. After using this scooter, I don't think either of us could ever do a park again without one. We are both physically capable of doing so, but this made the whole experience better. Plus so many people were stopping us asking where we got such a cool sporty scooter. It's soooo easy to transport, we usually drive, sometimes staying on property, this time was off property at the Wyndham timeshare. The scooter fit in the back of our Tahoe along with 5 passengers and a stroller. Also, using park transportation such as the monorail and skyliner was a breeze. we were even able to go on the skyliner with both the scooter and a stroller at the same time in the same car. The skyliner is our favorite park transportation and there is a separate line you get to go on with the scooter and you get loaded right on the car with your entire family (sometimes skipping the longer non-scooter line at peak times). Some of the major pluses was it also served as a seat when seats were hard to find. Make sure you get the Phone holder, Cup holder and basket. The phone holder was probably my favorite, because once you lock your phone in and use the My Disney app to navigate to where you want to go it was like having built in GPS! the cup holder is a must for your beers and margaritas in Epcot, and the Basket acted as a perfect snack holder for our 4 year old's snacks for easy access. The battery life of the scooter was also impressive, we park hopped and made a full day no problem. Never once did I get low on power on my entire trip. I'm not the type of person to usually leave reviews, but this was like a dream come true, and if you are yet to experience a theme park with a scooter you are really missing out. This past weekend I went to the Orange County Convention center to watch my granddaughter play in a volleyball tournament, knowing how big that place is I knew I needed an electric wheelchair to get around. After checking out about six places and none were able to meet my needs, but one of them suggested Scootz mobility. I called them and was quite pleased with the help and response. I only needed a scooter for the two days and they were happy to accommodate me. The scooter was awesome and the battery lasted all day. Charging the battery was a breeze, it pops right out and was able to place it on my walker and charged it on the kitchen counter. Left the scooter in the car, but at 46 lbs I could have unloaded it by myself and drove the neighborhood, but after cheering a half dozen games I needed a nap! I can not say enough good things about the scooter or the company. I highly recommend!!! The scooter did everything i needed it to do. The battery lasted all day in every Disney Park I was in. It was easy to fold and lift onto the bus. I did not need to have it strapped down like those other larger bulky scooters. The scooter turned on a dime and was easy to manuver and enough power to go up hills. They say the weight recommendation is up to 150 lb but I weigh 162 and the scooter was still stable and powerful enough to move me easily and the battery lasted all day. I damaged the charger port on the portable charger (not the company's fault) and I had to call them at 10:30 and they responded within 5 minutes and made arrangements to meet me the next day with a new charger and a FULLY charge replacement battery. I called many different scooter rental places for the best price. Not only was Scootz the best price but the service was second to none! Justin went above and beyond from the first phone call by telling me all the great features about the scooter from how easy it is to take apart and put together so it can be transported in my vehicle, the battery life was the best and that he could meet me somewhere convenient to get the scooter or pick up at the warehouse if that was more convenient for me. He called evening beforehand to see if we wanted to pick up or him bring it to me. He met me and showed me exactly how to take apart and put together. We chose them for an otherwise healthy person who had a sports injury and was "too cool" to use a scooter but ended up appreciating this SO much. If you're looking for a scooter that doesn't FEEL like a scooter - this is your place! Super easy delivery, pick up, and simple to transport on your own if staying off-theme park property. Absolutely PHENOMENAL customer service!! Justin was extremely accommodating, professional, and very understanding. Justin had amazing communication skills with me and ensured that nothing was wrong with the scooter or if I had any questions throughout the day. I couldn't ask for a better company to rent from!! Highly recommend Scootz - we hired one for two weeks for our holiday as my dad would have struggled with the distance. The cost was very reasonable and it folded down so we could take it on the bus transfers and taxis. It was nice that it wasn't a traditional mobility scooter, it was modern and fun to use (my son kept bringing it from the stroller parks ). Their customer service was excellent.
