We came here around 7:30 and sat ourselves outside. After sitting there for a while, we finally had to ask someone for menus... then ask again if someone could actually come take our order. It honestly felt like our server wanted absolutely nothing to do with us. It took about 10 minutes just to get waters. I ordered a Diskin cider, but she brought me a beer. When I told her that's not what I ordered, she insisted that the "Diskin cider rotation" was actually a beer and that they don't serve cider. I looked it up afterward because it sounded weird... Diskin is literally a cider company. ‍ Just tell me you're out of cider instead of making something up. Then our food came out... no utensils. So once again we had to go ask for something. The live band was awesome, but the outside smelled awful. The best way I can describe it is like old spilled beer that's been sitting in the turf forever. Every time the wind blew it hit you. The food was fine. Nothing I'd complain about, but nothing I'd ever come back for either. If you're looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and listen to some live music, this might be the place. 2. I didn't love the food. The fries were a bit soggy and my hopes were higher for the brisket grilled cheese. Definitely more of a drink spot in my opinion, but my friend loved her hot chicken sandwich 3. Live music was very vibey & I had a blast watching the band. 4. Service was great and our server was very nice. We enjoyed the patio seating and breeze from all the fans. This is the best late night restaurant by the Gaylord. Came here with a large group and they sat us quickly. Traditional dive bar with a Nashville flair. Our waiter was amazing. I see some harsh reviews - mixed with some very good ones. I think going to a place like this you have to go with the right mindset - it is a lively, energized bar that serves really "good bad for you food." If you are going expecting fine dining, you will probably be disappointed - if you go thinking "this is going to be a great night with some great bar food," then you will probably really enjoy yourself! My wife and I went with that mindset - and we had a fantastic experience. We had the hot chicken (which was served on top of Texas toast and was delicious - and hot!), along with the brisket. The brisket was good - the best we have ever had? Not close - but it was good. We enjoyed it and ate all of it. Now, the cornbread that came with it - that was incredible! Very tasty - almost like cake - we loved it! However, what made the night were two things: they had a nice duo performing. They did some original songs and they were very good - we enjoyed listening to them. However, by chance, some pro-wrestlers were there after they had an event in Nashville. It was cool to get to meet them - and while they were huge and intimidating, they were incredibly nice - just really down to earth folks. I got to talk with The Scottish Warrior Crixus - and we did a shot of whiskey together - he was great! So - did we have a 5 star dining experience? No - and we never expected one - but we definitely had a STRONG 4 star bar experience (wish we could give 1/2 stars - this was definitely 4.5 stars). If in the area - check this place out - enjoy some good music - some great "good bad for you food" - and hopefully you will run into some cool folks! read more

Visited Scoreboard while staying in town. This is a a really fun dive bar that is recommended by many locals in the area. Live music is great and the service was even better. The bar is cozy. It has two separate areas to maintain two separate vibes. One is a family sit down style and the other is my favorite loud live music dancing bar. Food was okay. Prices were even better especially on drinks. It was worth leaving the Resort we were staying in to try what was on the outside only a few minutes away. Free shuttle buses took us close by so we could walk the rest and it was well worth the experience. read more

Music was very good but bad to compete with monster storm that came through area. Heavy, heavy rain, hail and strong winds. Basically trapped there until about 20 minutes before our show at the Opry. The food has been fantastic ~ we've eaten two nights in a row so far! My friend enjoyed the cat fish dinner while I had the Philly~ style fish sandwich. So messy, but completely yummy. We returned late afternoon the next day and I had my first Nashville hot chicken experience with the quesadilla. The group Spazmatics are there every Sunday- a talented group who can play lots of genres. The place was totally packed. Seating is hard - 3 separate areas to eat and sit. Tables were sticky and dirty and service was slow. We got a brisket sandwich and a Reuben - neither were good and it was mostly bread. Food and dinks are cheap but subpar. Went here as a solo diner for the first time during Nashville Scene Taco Week. First, it was confusing on where exactly you go to dine in. I apparently went to the wrong area and waited a few minutes before someone told me they weren't open and redirected me to the correct area. I definitely appreciate that. It's self seating, no biggie. The portion for the price was fantastic but that's where the compliments stop. The tacos were pretty bland. They required all of the salsa and sour cream given to eat. Which left no salsa for the tortilla chips on the side. I was only checked on by my server once, and waited over 20 mins to be able to get my check and cash out. What a great little spot. Had the pleasure of getting to enjoy the Mashholes on our trip out here and got to catch the end of the Dodger game as well. We were in search for some good food, drinks and music and this was the right place for it. The drink options were fantastic and definitely needed on this hot summer night. I was genuinely excited to leave a positive review about the atmosphere and overall vibes at Scoreboard Nashville, but unfortunately the service experience completely overshadowed it. There was an issue with my order, and instead of any admission, apology, or attempt to resolve the situation, our server, Bailey H, argued with me about what I did or did not order. The behavior was rude toward me and toward another guest at our table. That guest is hard of hearing, and during the interaction, her credit card was aggressively snatched from her. This behavior was completely unacceptable. At no point was ownership taken, nor was there any acknowledgment that a simple miscommunication could have occurred. In addition to this, food items were missing, condiments were never brought out, and the overall service felt careless and dismissive. When the issue was brought to management, the immediate response was to ask what we wanted removed from the bill and to offer a gift card. While compensation was offered, there was still no apology, no admission of fault, and no acknowledgment of how the situation was handled. The response felt transactional rather than accountable and did not address the actual service failure. What made this more disappointing is that this server was referred to as "their best server." If that is the standard being presented, there is a clear gap in service expectations and accountability. Mistakes happen. Refusal to take responsibility, rude behavior toward guests, and attempts to resolve issues without acknowledgment or apology should not. This was a very unpleasant way to start the new year and was entirely avoidable with basic professionalism. read more

The food however, how do I put this, sucked. I had no idea you could ef up a hamburger and fries this badly. It's such a low bar. The only thing worse than the food was the service. The bar was half full the restaurant about 40%. I had to get my own condiments off the empty table next to the bar and I had to wave my arms to get a beer from the bartender. Before visiting this establishment, I peeped their online menu to see if it would be worth a try. Upon arrival, we nearly turned around because of the outside scenery. This place is very unassuming and you'll need to get past appearances. Once inside, you'll see that it is a bar/restaurant. We were greeted right away by a very nice waitress. The food options were the typical items found on just about any other menu. My husband ordered wings with onion rings and slaw and I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs with fries and slaw. We also had an order of hot water cornbread (though it was not what I thought it would be). The meals were ok. The drink menu was exceptional and I thoroughly enjoyed the Hunch Punch drink I had.
