Buffalo Chicken Sliderand beer cheese dip
    Stephen L.

I love this place !!! And it's a Michigan bar! Lions games are so fun here ! Aaron is the best bartender in town. He works Tuesdays and Wednesdays! They got fire dipping sauces too for .25 cents. I recommend trying some of those ! I get the buffalo chicken sliders and extra pickles. The vibe is fun! Location is killer. All the sliders are great! It's a good vibe!

Dedicated Lions bar. So much fun!

What an AMAZING first night in Nashville! We were looking for a spot to watch the Lions game and found a Detroit Lions bar. It was PACKED with Lions fans! We felt invincible. It was so much fun!! People were HYPED!!! What an absolutely awesome way to celebrate a Lions Victory!

Super casual joint in Midtown that has a neighborhood bar feel to it. Their Slider options are vast, unique & really yummy! They let you mix & match so you can sample a variety. Bonus! Service is good too. It was a quiet Monday night when we stopped in & our server Kaylee was super sweet & personable. They have a small outside patio & the garage door that opens for those that are inside. Drawback to this is you can smell the smokers smoking on patio. Really wanted to give it 5 stars but they do not have Draft beer. Definitely worth going! I will be going back to sample more sliders.

The service was amazing! Beer was cold! The place could use sprucing up but it's a college hangout and that's what it looks like! The burgers were good and the salad was HUGE! Yes, I recommend this place

This place has it all! The outdoor seating is fantastic, offering a great vibe for enjoying a meal. It's also the perfect place to catch a game, with plenty of TV screens available. The food is awesome, the service is good, and the best part is they allow dogs!

    Interior

Decent, bar vibe establishment serving decent food in Midtown Nashville. The interior feels like a dive bar, and the food also is like bar food. My friends and I got the Buffalo chicken dip which was alright but on the smaller side. We also had the 3 fry plate and it came with 3 small containers of dipping sauces which wasn't a lot. Also, their signature fries that come w the chicken dip and fry plate are like lays chips not actual fries which is not my personal taste. If you're curious since their drink menus don't include prices, their skinny marg is $10! Service was quick and nice, no complaints there. Overall: okay place in midtown for mediocre bar food on a more chill night next to the bars.

    Detroit Lions Gameday Specials!

Great for Detroit Lions Game Day! The food here is always good, but they have excellent food and drink specials when the Detroit Lions play. They also have an excellent beer list; drafts, bottles, and cans. The atmosphere is super fun if you're a Lions fan!

The food was good, I got the lunch combo with a slider and fries. The sliders have very unique and interesting combinations, I loved the flavor of the old hickory. Took off a star for the odd service... our waitress didn't help with the sauce recommendation because she is not a "sauce person" (fine, understandable), but she also said she wasn't a "food person"... odd answer for a waitress, you can still make recommendations like "a lot of people order the...."

A black bean and a portabello slider

This place has a great concept but the execution of the food was not there. The food was really bland. If cooking at least start with the basics, salt and pepper. My portabello was tasteless even with the toppings. I wish I had my own condiments with me. The black bean burger was put together nicely but tasted like eating beans from the can with no seasoning. My tablemate had the Nashville hot chicken and said all she tasted was cayenne but it lacked flavor. I dont know if I came on a bad night but I would not return or recommend. I will give a nod tp the server who was attentive, friendly and service was quick. And the sweet potato fries were actually good. Tip - parking is paid so when you pull into the parking lot next to it dont forget to scan and pay.

Old Hickory Slider, Southern Comfort Slider and Onion Petals
    Doug G.

The Slider House is located in the middle of the Midtown area of the city amongst all the restaurants and bars. As you would suspect, they serve sliders of all different types from beef, chicken, pork and even fish. You can get an individual slider for $7, or make a meal out of it with 2 sliders with a side. The Slider House is a sports bar, so TV's are on all the walls, so not a bad seat in the house when a game is on. Note that this spot is the local Detroit Lions bar, so plan accordingly on game days! We went with the meal option and got two sliders and a side. I got a beef slider, The Old Hickory, a chicken slider, Southern Comfort and a side of onion pedals. Meal total was $17. The sliders were decent with the Southern Comfort being my fav. The Sriracha Honey glaze made the sandwich! I was disappointed in the onion pedals, as while I can appreciate a light dredge/batter, these pedals were barely coated and some pieces were not coated at all. Before our sliders, we started with the buffalo chicken dip. The dip was tasty, just enough heat and thick. The chips are the house made potato chips, and while good on their own, not my favorite vessel for the dip. Drink wise, they have a full bar with several specials, beers on tap, cocktails, etc...we got a beer and I ordered a Gin and Tonic. My first G&T was solid, but my second was rough. I cannot pinpoint what it was, but it did not taste like a G&T. I confirmed it was what was made, and was assured, which just made me a question it a tad more. Service was a bit hit and miss as well. Our server was friendly, but not super attentive with drinks/refills. Overall, the experience, food and service was just "ok". Nothing terribly wrong or really outstanding. Decent spot for a decent slider and a beer.

Interesting selection of sliders! I enjoyed the outdoor seating and view of passerby's on the street. Unfortunately it was a little pricey for the portion and I found the sliders a tad bit dry. Still, this was a great weekday option with enough room so you won't need a reservation if you go on a whim. - AT

    Buffalo Chicken Dip
    Dawn P.

By far the best food we have had since we arrived 3 days ago! We had the Buffalo chicken dip and 2 slider plates (with 2 sliders each) and Parmesan fries. Everything was delicious! The service was great as well. Taking a star off due to the price of my one tiny drink (grey goose lemonade), which was $12.50 and mostly lemonade. Additionally, the restroom would be completely ineffective for even this small sized restaurant and bar during the weekend. There's only 1 stall that I'm sure is covered in urine and God knows what else once the partying begins. Ew.

Veggie burger and fries. Chicken sandwich and parmesean fries.
    Ro W.

The black bean burger could've had a little more seasoning on it. Everything else was good. The bathroom could've used some assistance. Every time we visit the slider house, we always have the same sever.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

The spot is in an old building in the middle of the entertainment district (Lower Broad area). It has a small outside seating area, for when it is not a sauna, Inside there is a nice sized bar, if you are just seeking a drink. They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

We had a larger (10) group celebrating two birthdays and the staff handled things without breaking a sweat. We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation but it was no bother as our table was still being prepared. On that note: highly recommend a reservation, this is a popular place! Once we were seated we had the pleasure of Nichelle, a wonderful waitress. She was on top of everything we needed or wanted and we had very little wait time for her return. Great service! And the food... DELICIOUS! As you can imagine, our group of ten had a good selection across the menu and there was not a single person who was disappointed. Everyone loved their amazing food. What tops everything off is the atmosphere here. It's popular so, as you can imagine, it's a bit noisy. However, I like to call it "lively". And they really nailed the physical design, so inviting and upscale. I'll stop there and simply say: check this place out, it's great!

She even went out of her way to get me a drink that had fallen off the menu a few weeks prior, a delightful cucumber spritz. The ambiance is awesome. As others have said, music isn't too loud, just pleasant in the background, so it would be ideal for having a conversation. The space is open, bright, light-filled, and stylish. Parking is in a private lot behind the restaurant and they validate parking for up to two and a half hours. I wish I could rave the same way about the food. While the cocktails were refreshing and they had a cocktail for every palate, my steak and eggs was bland. It came out a little closer to rare than medium, but I can live with that. But I am not sure I detected a speck of salt or pepper. The steak was at least tender and the sunny side up eggs were cooked appropriately. The potatoes were dry. And I did have the wagyu meatball appetizer. It's a large portion, so easily shared amongst two or three people. Cheesy and saucy with a little spice. The focaccia could've been toasted a little more. I considered the short rib hash, but my server told me it could be salty and hit or miss (I appreciate her honesty and she 100 percent should be praised for it). I came during brunch (even on a weekday). They also serve French toast, desserts, oysters, burrata, potstickers and tuna tartare, salads, burgers and other sandwiches. If you come for lunch or dinner, you can also get grilled salmon, blackened redfish, shrimp and grits, pastas (cajun chicken, pappardelle bolognese, tortellini) as well as various cuts of steak. It's conveniently located right across from the Frist Museum and is part of the Union Station Hotel. I would try this place again for dinner, but would skip the brunch. And again, Savanna was top tier! She deserves all the flowers!
