Food was delicious and the server was so fun! Great food and experience. (There was a long line at the restaurant next door and we walked right in here! Such a good decision!)

We enjoyed a quiet 3:00 lunch off the path of Broadway. Enjoyed the music playing at this place as it gave us a chance to take a break from country music. The stuffed mushrooms were delicious. Enjoyed the cocktails and the salads were a generous portion.

PSA: this is my first yelp review. That's how bad this place is. THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STEPPED FOOT DO NOT APPROACH!! Imagine shrek's swamp but infinitely worse. Smelled like shit and there was nasty water dripping off all surfaces. The girls at the front were so rude. Charged a ridiculous cover charge, we walked in and immediately turned around after seeing the god awful state of the place. They charged us $60 when they said it'd be $40. A blatant attempt to rip customers off. Management and hostesses refused to refund cover charge even though we hadn't even been in the bar for even 15 seconds. It's actually disgusting, I felt like I was going to get a disease from breathing the air. Please if you like yourself never go to this place.

We were visiting Nashville and decided to go off of Broadway to try this place. We made a reservation so there was no wait. It took a while for someone to acknowledge us. We ordered right away. We ordered the ribeye, the kung pao and a side caesar salad. The food took about 50 minutes to come out. The reason for ordering the salad was so that it would come out before the entree but it all came out at the same time. The food was pretty good. Service could have been better, I think the lady might have been new. Good live music and nice atmosphere.

    Welcome sign

Came here for a company team dinner during our annual conference. We picked it because several of our team members have dietary restrictions and the menu was able to accommodate everyone. The employees were so friendly and even had little welcome signs for us at our table! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was delicious!! We also shared some mottzerella sticks and the dumplings. If I find myself in Nashville again, I'll definitely stop by!

Went here for brunch. Service was a little slow. Hearty and filing meals. Music playing overhead was good.

Brunch at Brugada was amazing!! They had $5 mimosas and you can choose from orange juice, pineapple juice and cranberry juice. The food was so good. I ate it all. We were served by the bartender that was so attentive and friendly. They kept refreshing my drinks and checking to make sure we were enjoying brunch. I'd definitely recommend this place.

We came for the $5 mimosas and stayed for the sausage gravy! Pretty empty for a weekend brunch but can't beat that mimosa deal! Food was mid but did the trick.

Everything tasted so good and the staff were all so kind and friendly! Especially our waiter Charlie!

The place is off the beaten path and at 6pm on a Sunday we were the first people there. The ambiance is very nice and a break from the typical broadway scene. The manager holds multiple hats. The food was good, nothing stellar but a good variety and a hint of Asian flair. I hope this place becomes more popular and they bring more people for a better vibe.

    French Toast

We were informed that the restaurant was only serving the brunch menu, which narrowed down my options and made the choice a little easier. I ended up going with the French toast which was divine. The bread had the eggy, sweet flavor notes which were accentuated by the powdered sugar and maple syrup. The berries on top balanced the heaviness of the bread. I'm not much of a mimosa connoisseur but I enjoyed theirs which had a stronger orange/citrus flavor than others I've had. It paired very well with the French toast. The service was great and the laid-back atmosphere seemed to cater to a wide audience. I'd definitely go back (likely outside of brunch) to explore more of the menu.

Shiitake mushrooms dumplings 7/10 would not eat again tho

Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

This time, we switched things up and hit it for lunch instead. Good call. We grabbed seats at the bar, where Todd was holding down the fort. The guy was outstanding. Drinks never sat empty, food came out smoothly, and he somehow managed to be attentive without hovering over us every five minutes asking if everything was okay. My wife started with the Nashville Margue, which goes down way too easy for something packing moonshine. Light, refreshing, and carrying enough kick to remind you you're in Tennessee. Then Todd introduced us to a Bloody Mary made with a new pickle-infused vodka. Now, that sounds like one of those ideas that should either be amazing or a complete disaster. Turns out it's amazing. My wife loved it so much she's already talking about coming back tomorrow for another one. For food, we started with the pretzels and beer cheese. Simple. Warm. Soft. Salty. Exactly what you want while settling into a Nashville afternoon. Nothing fancy, just done right. Then I went all in on the mac and cheese topped with Nashville hot chicken. Yee Haw. Creamy mac and cheese. Crispy chicken. That signature Nashville heat. Comfort food with a little attitude. Just the way it should be. The best thing about The Stillery is that it knows exactly what it is. Good food. Good drinks. Good people. No gimmicks. No trying too hard. Just a fun place to sit down, relax, and enjoy yourself. Fifteen trips to Nashville (together) and it's still one of our first stops. That's probably the strongest review I can give. Five stars.

They are known for their mac & cheese, which I have never tried in all of the times I have been to the Stillery. Very creamy, cheesy mac & cheese. The Nashville hot chicken has a nice spice to it. A bit mild for the serious hot chicken fans, but the flavor is there. The chicken tenders are fairly standard. And the crinkle fries are mid. I enjoyed both of the drinks. At $14.50, they are at least $1.50 less than the standard Broadway cocktails in the star bars, so iti s a less expensive option to get a drink. I don't think they ever have live music, unlike some others here, so you are going for the food, not the noise. Service was great, as always. The staff is always prompt and knows their menu. It is more bar food and the menu is limited, but what they do, they do well.

It's my bad that I didn't also catch on that his is basically a Tequila Bar, rather than a more general craft cocktail establishment. Judging by the well stocked bar and the word of our waitress, other alcohol and their associated craft creations are available, but it's pretty much off menu and not well into our waitress' repertoire. And yes, Cinco de Mayo was just a few days away. One member of our party just wanted a soft drink, which was not possible that night as their CO2 was down. That did make me wonder whether the non-alcohol drinkers had much to chose from here. I suppose we could have then wandered over to the Redemption Bar at Chief's? Anyway, we're not Tequila Drinkers, and since other drink options appeared to be guesswork, we left towards more traditional mixed drinks (and live music) at a nearby Printers Alley bar. This was a rare night that I really wanted a craft cocktail in a smooth environment, and in the end it just wasn't the same.
