He was also the only one of four not trying to hard sell me on gutter guards. He said if I wanted them we could always talk about them later. It was just such a great experience working with some one who I could implicitly trust and see an outstanding result. His price was very fair and I will more than likely be using him down the road when I need to replace my roof.

After declining, he reached out to me, mind you he reached out to me and agreed $1,800; he dropped off materials and scheduled the job for June 3. He no‑showed (I took the day off). He showed up June 4 asking for more money, so I reluctantly agreed to $2,000. That's when I realized he was unprofessional. After that, the job dragged on for weeks with frequent skipped days and constant rescheduling. They filled my trash with drywall scraps, never taped off the area. I called him out on it and he said that he will tape it and i had to supply the material, which i did. And the agreed price for 1800 did not involve taping off area and debris removal, that is bull crap because we agreed to that. And didn't do the promised three coats of mud. One worker made a sloppy one‑hour pass, getting mud on speakers and cabinets. Later the next week Eddie returned with sanding pads and said only two coats had been applied. That is another lie. His guy was in and out in an hour when applying the mud. Eddie claims it was 20 minute mud. The finish is still bumpy and uneven. He used a flexible plastic corner bead instead of a metal one, and the drywall edges aren't flush -- another contractor warned this will fail over time. Eddie's sanding left thick dust throughout the house; I spent hours cleaning. When the plastic corner cracked during priming, Eddie blamed me and demanded more money, then promised to fix it free but blew me off twice, forcing me to take more days off work waiting for him. The wall plate cover doesn't fit properly; my other contractor says the wall may need to be torn out and redone. Summary: missed appointments, skipped many workdays, unexpected price increases, poor workmanship, inadequate cleanup -- avoid this contractor. I know he could have done a good job as I'm not questioning his skills. He just choose not to do a good job as he was in a hurry with multiple jobs. But shame on him for taking my money and not delivering.

When we asked for the stone to be replaced at their cost, they said it was too late and that they would provide a discount instead. They do not value quality or service. 4. While we were negotiating a final price (based on contractor error) they filed a lien on our property.... before the work was even complete. Horrible ethics. After payment in full, still didnt complete the work. and we do not want them to come back in our home after this experience. Six hour into the removal I asked; What are you guys doing and how long is this going to take? (note it would take them 4 days at this rate) I called the company about it and received no answer, called the Forman got no answer and I could not communicate with the workers because of a language issue. With that said I gave them my power tool to do the job they removed the tile in 6 hours yet left the cement board attached. Asked the company about the cement board and if they can tile over. They said NO. Then I asked for quotes on the tile. Flash forward 12 Days, got the quote and it was extremely high so I decided to not do it. AT that point I asked them since the demo included cement board and I rented the guys my tools so What is the new price? Considering that the company breached the contract I offered them a fair price to compensate the work completed, he replied with NO you pay me $2350 or I will sue you. Going as far to tell me it cost them 1000$ of garbage. During the whole process the quote was shady (done over text) , work was shady and incomplete and most important communication was AWFUL!!!!! I hired A-1 PAM Plastering & Remodeling to perform drywall installation and paint work totaling…read moreover $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was characterized by poor workmanship, incomplete repairs, and egregiously sloppy finishing. All of the labor was performed by a subcontractor, and at no point did the owner return to inspect the work. After initially claiming the work was complete, multiple significant issues remained unresolved. These included visible drywall seams, unpatched or poorly sanded corners, baseboards that were improperly cut and reinstalled, trim that was left broken and unpainted, dropped paint splotches left on flooring, doors, and fixtures, and a black door incorrectly repainted without consent. Furniture was also moved back against wet paint, causing damage. I gave the company *two additional opportunities* to correct these issues. Each time I was pressured to make full payment before the paint had even dried or a final walkthrough could be done. Despite these return visits, many problems remained completely unaddressed. At that point, I had lost confidence in their willingness and ability to complete the work properly. I ultimately accepted a 15% reduction (a $1,000 discount) from the total in order to bring the matter to a close. I now face the cost and hassle of hiring someone else to correct a long list of remaining problems that will certainly exceed the cost of the small discount. I would also like to point out that Yelp has filtered 17 reviews as "not recommended," which it has deemed less reliable, written by friends of the business, or sent from the same computer, compared to the reviews that made it through the filters. Combined with their poor work quality and intimidation tactics (see below), it leaves me questioning the legitimacy of many the other reviews. Worse yet, within minutes of posting this review, I received a call from the owner. Rather than take any responsibility, he began by sarcastically thanking me for the "nice review," then proceeded to yell, insult me, and claim it was unfair. I asked him whether he thought anything I had written was inaccurate or untrue. He did not say that it was. Instead, I was told that I shouldn't have posted it after we had "settled." That call reinforced everything I had already concluded about the company. It was well thought-out, precise with materials and supplies checklists, and the cost was reasonable. Included with the proposal was a floorplan and computer-generated visuals of the vanity and linen cabinet. We signed with A-1 PAM and we are so happy we did! Tom helped me every step of the way via emails the month before actual construction began and continued to provide contacts, recommendations, and tons of information throughout the process. He was always immediately responsive to my numerous emails and texts. The work started February 17, 2020, and lasted 3 weeks. The 2 installers Peter and Adam came everyday, rain or shine, very punctually at 8 am and could not have been more polite and respectful of our space. They always cleaned up at the end of each day. The craftsmanship is phenomenal. Peter in particular amazed me with his carpentry and electrician skills. The end result is absolutely breathtaking especially the sliding shower doors and much needed storage/linen cabinet. The master bathroom has been transformed in ways I only dreamed of in the past. I go in everyday and can't believe how beautiful it turned out. The dream is real thanks to A-1 PAM.
