Initially, Alex appeared knowledgeable and invested a great deal of time and effort into the installation, which we appreciated. However, we have experienced ongoing issues that have not been resolved. Our home naturally has temperature differences between the basement and upper levels, and while the heating function managed this reasonably well in colder weather, the air conditioning has not. There is now roughly a 10-degree temperature difference between floors, with the lower level significantly colder than the upper level. Despite installing a two-zone system setup, the layout does not appear to be functioning properly for our home. In addition, we reported a noise issue early on. Alex recommended special air vents to resolve it, but these were never ordered or provided. We also purchased a maintenance agreement that includes two yearly service visits. Starting March 3, we made repeated attempts--over 30 phone calls, 30 text messages, and several emails--to schedule our spring service and address these concerns. We have not received a single response. At this point, we are extremely frustrated and concerned. The system does not appear to be properly completed or functioning as intended, and the complete lack of communication is unacceptable. We are left questioning whether Alex has the expertise to finish the job or stands behind the work that was performed. He was prompt in responding by text, even if his all-caps text style is a little weird--not a big deal. I paid Stan the $99 fee to visit my house, and he informed me that the dishwasher would be more costly to repair than the unit was worth. He agreed to help find a replacement unit and install it, and the cost of that came to $603 for what was ultimately a bottom-shelf HotPoint dishwasher, which included the installation. I was just glad to have a new and functioning dishwasher, so this was all fine with me. Here is the reason for my negative review: my very new, less than a year old dishwasher keeps on leaking, and I have now had to have multiple service visits in the last six months to fix it. The service people showed me how the leaks have been due to faulty installation--first because the unit was not level when installed, and second because it was installed too close to the cabinetry which prevents the door from shutting all the way resulting in--you guessed it--a leak! So I am now in the same position as I was in last year: with a leaky dishwasher, and nearly $1,000 poorer. Thanks a lot, Stan. Maybe he provides a fine and reliable service for repair work. Maybe. But I wouldn't take the risk. There are plenty of other excellent repair services in Durham who can do the job for you. Don't go with Stan, and end up in the same position I find myself in.

I called them again the next day (Saturday, October 18th), mailbox was full and no contact. Had to call another plumber to resolve the issue. The other plumber sent pictures of the sewer line, no collapsed line and no tree roots. Fast forward to today (Monday, November 3rd), I noticed a charge on my credit card from Lessen/RentRedi for services from Leonine.
