This is my go-to gym in Round Rock and has been since my wife and I moved here. The cost is super-reasonable for the resources they offer. We only pay $55 for three months of membership for both of us. They're always adding new machines to the gym and it's very clean and cool inside. The pool with lap swimming is very convenient and there are free lockers and showers. The best times to go are weekday late mornings, afternoons, and after 7:00. The weekends aren't bad either! Usually you won't need to wait for a machine and they're never all full from my experience. I also like the trail behind the gym for biking and walking. There aren't many options for bench press/squats unless you use free weights.

I've been coming here damn near weekly during the past decade to swim. In my opinion, this is the ONLY recreation center on the planet. Seriously. As far as I know, this is it. The only one.

The paper written by the staff for further information and staff member that assist me at this time

The disorganization of this places beyonds me. You talk to the staff and they don't have an answer or the right information. The administration says payments over the phone is allowed , I asked the front desk about making payments they agree that I could easily do it with them. Now I am here unable to go to work because of all the miss information shared through this process. The lack of professionalism and a knowledge of the staff and constant misinformation prevene the to make a simple payment to allow my kid on the child care and the front office couldn't even provide a card of the department therefore no information. I had to ask if he had a piece of paper and a pen to write it down

Not only is it perfect for someone who has done yoga before but is out of practice as well as someone who has asthma on a bad asthma day, but the 9:30AM time slot is perfect for me to make class right after dropping my son off at school.

The free intro class was super helpful--Girlie walked me through all four class types and gives extra attention to newcomers. Classes break down like this: 'Align' feels more yoga-based, 'Define' leans into weights, and 'Classic' mixes both. After about 10 classes, I definitely feel stronger and more toned, even going twice a week. Plus, the schedule is flexible. When I was out sick for 2 weeks , Jazmine checked in on me and even added a class credit without me asking. As someone new, it really boosted my confidence and made me feel like they genuinely care about their members. Only downside: the Classic class is so popular that (IMO) it can get a bit packed.

Unfortunately, my experience at ATX Pole Studio felt much more manual and disorganized by comparison. When classes were canceled last minute and it was towards the end of a reoccurring bill month, I had to personally reach out to the owner to have credits added back to my account, which became frustrating over time. It would be so much easier if this process was automated like other studios I've attended. The auto-renewal policy also caught me off guard. I didn't see any mention of the 30-day cancellation notice in my receipts or online account, so I was surprised to be charged again after I emailed to cancel before my next billing date. I was told I'd receive credits to use in the future, which I'm assuming I'll have to chase down owner again to get them added as I currently don't see any credits in my account. To make matters even more unsettling, I was automatically charged again the following month, though the owner did issue a credit right after, but again...why is this so difficult in 2025? In the end, I decided to cancel my membership because the overall experience just didn't feel efficient or easy to manage, especially compared to other studios that are more streamlined. I hope the studio improves its systems, and the owner chooses not to ignore emails when it comes to be billing issues.

I have had the honor of receiving many hours of work from him and there is no other work, therapist, or instructor like him. He is AMAZING. The way he teaches, speaks, explains, & provides his education is clear, concise, and easy to understand. Robert is teaching a different way to approach client's pain by using your body weight, proper body mechanics, and unleashing all of your God given tools to apply the work as the client needs/wants. He has guided me to rewire the way my mind looks at helping clients and their pain. He has taught me how to properly communicate with my clients, in order to meet their needs. The "lay on the table and take whatever I give you" mindset does not fly with this style of work. Each client's body, pain, and preferences are different, & with his guidance I have learned how to address issues individually and how to meet clients where they are. He has taught me to think outside the box and to get creative. When I met Robert, I was in a lot of pain doing table massage for my clients. I came to him to help my hands to stop hurting and then I quickly realized how powerful and impactful his work is. This work isn't just for my clients, this work is for me too!! I have been in multiple rear-end car accidents and this work was the only work that has ever FULLY relieved my neck pain. What started off as a resolution for my arm pain from giving massage, ended in an obsession to receive the work. I now only receive Thai mat bodywork, as it gives me much longer pain relief plus, I feel better knowing my therapist isn't injuring themselves working on me. This style of work and his training has changed my life. I now do not experience pain doing my job, which consists of 2-4 hour long sessions. Also, I am now able to help my clients get out of pain for longer, to receive the pressure they desire, effortlessly. If you have been considering training with Robert, pull the trigger. This is the most satisfying and life changing work that exists. Robert is changing this industry and only wants the best for all of us. I only have the best things to say about Robert and I have all the respect in the world for him.
