I have been a patient of Dr. Miller since he has started his practice. He is by far the best dental practitioner I have had the pleasure of seeing in my 45+ years of going to the dentist. Dr. Miller is patient, courteous, helpful, and respectful. He also values my time - he has never once missed or even delayed an appointment - and given what I have gone through on the medical side of healthcare - that is remarkable. He even squeezed me in promptly on an emergency call after I had chipped a tooth - during a time when school kids normally occupy his time. His assistant is also friendly and courteous and always gives me options on future times and appointments. I have referred family members and friends and all have had positive experiences! And most of all, I consider Dr. Miller a good friend that I trust completely. One further point I would like to bring up is his unselfishness. He volunteered time and resources to the preschool where my son was attending. The school director was thrilled that someone like Dr. Miller would volunteer his time to help instruct youngsters (and their parents) about forming good dental habits and hygiene at a young age.He has given me numerous pointers on my personal oral health that I practice to this day! Dr. Miller also keeps up on the current dental practices and products that hit the market - his insight has helped me save money while educating me on new products. Dr. Miller has also been helpful with referrals to other specialists. When I needed gum surgery years ago, he recommended a specialist that did great work at a reasonable price! While I am not a total price shopper per se; Dr. Miller is sensitive to costs and works diligently with all the dental plans I have been enrolled in through the years. I can say that I have never had to go back and have any work redone or receive a second opinion - and again - that is remarkable given our long history together. We love Dr. Miller! I was referred by my mother, who is in her late 70's and has been singing his praises for a while now. After searching the city for a new dentist for myself and my 9 year old daughter, I couldn't be happier. He is extremely thorough, and explains everything as he goes. His willingness to answer questions and explain options is extraordinary. He sincerely wants you to be more informed, and doesn't care how long it takes--so as a result, I've NEVER felt rushed in his office. I've also never waited longer than 5 minutes to be brought into his work area, and then there is no waiting by myself in a chair for another while! Our family has been going to Dr. Miller for about 20 years. He is kind, friendly and gentle. He explains in clear detail when something needs to be fixed. The specialist he has referred us to have also been top notch. I have always been a bit lax with flossing and he very kindly points it out when it is clear that I have been slacking. As a result I am much more diligent than when I first started going to him. Over the years we have gotten to know each other and enjoy talking about our mutual interests. This makes for a very pleasant visit. I work in health care and sometimes have asked his professional advice about dental issues I encounter in my practice. I have been visiting Dr. Miller for almost 15 years. I have since brought my two girls to see him. He is welcoming, calm and very attentive to our needs. Recently, my younger daughter had a few cavities that needed to be filled. She was very apprehensive about the process. Dr. Miller was very kind. He broke up the fillings into a few appointments to make the process more manageable for her. He talked her through exactly what he planned to do which made the experience very pleasant for her. When my lifelong dentist retired more than 5 years ago, I was left without a dentist so It was natural for me to try Dr. Miller since they worked in close proximity to each other in the same building. It turned out to be a good move because I have found him to be extremely competent and patient. He is meticulous in his approach and explains his treatment plan in a way that can be easily understood. He seems to know exactly how long each procedure will take and therefore is never late for an appointment. He has a way of relaxing you and I have never experienced any pain there.
