The office is nice and clean, they are all friendly and accommodating. We never wait long in the lobby. Dr. Moon is so easy to talk to, she's smart and experienced, she's socially savvy and she just gets it. She knows how to run a good practice and leads a great team. We've lived in the area for 10 years and had tried multiple other dentists. One pediatric dentist we visited in Riverstone wouldn't let me go with my children for exams, they all disappeared behind a clouded door while I sat in the lobby. That made me very uncomfortable. In Dr. Moon's office, you're with your kids every moment of the appointment, even if they are having dental work done in the rear rooms. This was really important to me. We recently moved about 15 mins further from the office but I will still continue to use Dr. Moon. The only thing difficult is that many people have discovered how awesome she is, so it's pretty busy, especially during school breaks. I actually hesitated to write a review because I don't want her to get busier! But she will whether I write this review or not, many people recommend her in local forums. You might have to wait to get an appointment but your children will receive care from an excellent dentist.

Then, out of nowhere in June 2026, I discovered they had sent an unexplained balance to collections. When I called to ask why, I was told they do not mail or email bills. They only send text messages. I never received any text messages about an outstanding balance. If there really was money owed, why was I not properly notified before they sent it to collections almost four years later? The representative also could not explain why there was still a balance due when I had already made payments in 2021 and 2022. He said he did not understand it either. I asked to speak with the manager, but I was told the manager was unavailable and would call me back the next day. That call never came. I called again and was given the same promise, but the manager still never returned my call. I do not recommend this practice. I am writing a letter to the office and to the Texas Attorney General asking them to investigate these billing practices. I still want an explanation of why I was charged, why the account was sent to collections without proper notice, and why this has now damaged my credit.

While I'm worrying about adult things of course life hit me with a curve ball. Because everyone knows "Newtons Law". Well here I am unpacking and my daughter was eating a taffy candy in secret. She came running to me saying her "tooth came out" well, of course I freaked out but when I looked at her "tooth" I realized it was just her crown. I went to google and picked the pediatric dental clinic with the best reviews and goodness they were all onto something. I was able to make an appointment for the next day online and in less then 24 hours, my daughter was seen. Teeth were cleaned, her annual appointment was completed AND the crown was placed back. AANNNND we found a new cavity that need to be treated "of course" remember Newton's Law.. but they were able to see my daughter again within the same week. The receptionist (I'm not sure what her official work title is, so please excuse my lack of knowledge) was super helpful and filled my insurance claims for me and within about a week or so I received my refund from my insurance. Talk about patient care at its BEST!!! Thank you to the whole team. Not only was my daughter a happy camper for both procedures but so was mom. The team made us feel genuinely cared for and welcomed. Came in with a pre screening for fillings for my toddler. After a 40 min wait non iv sedation, went on the table strapped her down then the doctor comes in with all these other recommendations as my child growing increasingly anxious. Said the filings the diagnosed previously were just stains. Said she was too anxious after pulling the tooth and to come back for the spacer they had already charged me for. Sent me a notice shortly after that stating they refuse to do oral sedation she'd have to get IV which is extremely expensive and not covered by insurance. No concern about the unprofessional ambush after stalling her down and stalling with recommendations until she got restless. Refused to give me x rays the day of and multiple times after. I've sent written requests as well., still no x-rays. Excuses like their email was down and they didn't know when it would be up. Still haven't got a refund for the unpreformed procedure.

I witnessed a very disturbing interaction at this dentist office in Pearland, Texas. The front desk…read morestaff were extremely rude, passive aggressive, and unprofessional toward a mother who simply came in for her child's appointment. She was not greeted when she walked in, repeatedly asked for her phone number as if they couldn't understand her, and was never even properly checked in before they immediately started asking for $75 upfront. One of the women also kept telling her to move over while assisting another patient even though she was not in anyone's way. The entire interaction felt disrespectful, dismissive, and targeted. Instead of making parents and children feel welcomed, the atmosphere was uncomfortable and hostile. She even spoke with the owner afterward because the treatment was so unacceptable. No parent should be treated that way while trying to get care for their child. Based on what I witnessed, the front desk staff seriously need customer service training or to be replaced altogether.
