I previously bought tires from Chabill's with the warranty. I adhered to their policy of tire rotations being done at their locations within the allotted mileage deemed necessary by them. I had made an appointment for my tire rotation due to mileage as usual. I sat in the lobby for over an hour after checking in and giving them my keys. Then one of the employees comes to sit by me and ask if I was ready to buy new tires today. I told him no and would speak to my husband. He said he had discussed with the manager, and my warranty would not cover the new ones. He did agree that I had done a great job with coming in for my tire rotations. He kept pushing for new tires. Finally, he asked again if I was buying tires today, because they had some in stock and could put them on. When I told him again that I was not, and would speak to my husband, then he asked one of the employees to bring my car to the front. I had informed him more than once that I had another appointment I needed to get to. Then he finally proceeded to give me a handout with 3 estimates for 4 new tires as I had asked.Then I asked for my copy of the tire rotation that was completed (I always got one upon leaving with the mileage and the checks that were standard). He finally printed one out and then proceeded to tell me that they didn't do the tire rotation. They made me wait for about an hour and 20 minutes to let me know that they didn't do anything (no tire rotation--which is why I went and had scheduled), but try to get me to buy new tires, when my warranty was in place. These are very dishonest, underhanded, and pushy people. They didn't honor their own policy. I was flabbergasted at the lack of integrity and honesty at this place. I will never, ever buy tires or do any business with these people. I will also tell my family and friends, so they don't waste excess money and time with such dishonest people and company. read more

Chabill's Tire Service was a huge help! I went to back out of my driveway to visit my parents and realized quickly that my tire was flat as a pancake. Had my car towed to Chabill's and by the end of day had two brand new tires that made my car feel brand new. I needed a spare so they used an older tire for the spare. I also purchased their protection plan and was so surprised that the bill was less than the quote! Excellent friendly service, great quality tires and great value. Needed new tires mounted to new wheels and balanced, they refused to do it since the tires wasn't purchased through them. So they lost 200 dollars in fees they could have made, not very wise business managers. But so be it, I'll never go there, nor recommend this place to anyone. I've been going to this location for over 20 years and says a lot about their work. Lately though I've been going elsewhere because store manager Pat has left and I don't see the same professional service. This doesn't mean that their work is not very good; just means when you have to wait 1 1/2 hours for the lead mech. to arrive because the new manager is controlling his OT I just don't have time for this kind of thing. I went to get my AC looked at and they OVERFILLED my line for Freon 300 EXTRA pounds (350 lbs of Freon total). I told them before they received my keys that it was FULL. I asked them about the charges and they told me it "wasn't " full. One guy went to answer then stopped. He flew in the shop and screamed to make sure I heard him asking about the charge. He then took about 10 minutes to basically make up a lie. If my AC isn't coming on, how can I lose Freon? They basically charged me to FUCK UP MY TRUCK ! I won't be visiting them EVER! RIP OFFS & this is the location on Ambassador in Lafayette, Louisiana . Women make sure you have your spouse or a male family member/friend so you won't get SCREWED OVER ! A lady went to get her oil changed and they started telling her she needed new tires. Her tires were brand new. Fix what is asked not what you want just for a bonus check and extra sales. I've come here a lot for work on my car, so I've gotten a pretty good feel for what they do well, and not so well. If you need an oil change they are pretty good, not the fastest in town, but good. For under the hood stuff like belts and changing light bulbs they are hit and miss. However as their name implies they know tires and all the stuff related to them. I have them take a look at my tires when I come in for anything else and more often than not they do a rotation (for free since I bought the road hazard with the tires) and send me on my way. However they are really good at diagnosing problems causing things like inconsistent wear. They seem to do good honest work. I had my shocks replaced here and later one of them broke due to a problem with it. They contacted the dealer found it was under warranty and replaced it for free including the work. Wait times can be long depending on how much work they have that day, but they will drive you to work or home and come get you. Overall, not a bad shop. read more
