    Crab stuffed mushroom

We came on a Saturday evening. There were seats on the patio available right away. We didn't mind sitting outside because there was a nice breeze from the river. My homegirl brought her pup and they were very nice, bringing him a bowl with cold water. Our waitress Yaya was nice. However, the service was slow. It took us over 20 minutes to get our drinks once we ordered. Our appetizer (crab stuffed mushrooms) came before our drinks (it was tasty). Our dinner took forever to come out as well and it was warm. It was busy but it just seemed like other tables were getting their food and drinks faster. The experience wasn't all the way bad, just not what I expected. Food was good, it would have been better hot. My friend enjoyed the ribeye and broccolini. The collard greens were fair to her. Definitely check this place out if you want a nice view

Busy, bustling riverfront restaurant at the SpringHill Suites. Waterfront seats are prime. Excellent pork chop, made to order, with pimento cheese mashed potatoes and stunning collards. Lots of seafood.

Great restaurant down by the Tennessee River. Everything was delicious! Friendly service and good atmosphere

Sat at a bar area table and both bartenders took care of us. They checked back often. We got a couple different kinds of oysters and some calamari along with a few beers. Everything tasted fantastic and the service was quick. They had some great River views from the tables along the windows. A/C felt great coming I. From the 100 degree weather.

The outside seating was perfect! There were 3-5 tables with their dogs at any given time. This is a very dog friendly restaurant. Seeing the server bring food out and bowls of water for dogs was ... different. Moving on. The food was shrimp salad was very fresh and flavorful- definitely recommend! I could eat the spinach crawfish dip and naan by the bucket. Order. This. lol!

Scotties On The River was great. The spot right on the Tennessee River is relaxed and pretty. Our server was friendly, explained the menu, and their suggestions were perfect. I ordered the shrimp with Brussels sprouts with pork belly. I loved the seasoning on the shrimp My sister had the salmon, cooked just right and very tasty. A friend went with a fresh fish that was sensational. The food is very well made, the chef deserves congratulations. I highly recommend going there to try the food, and the prices are very good.

Found Scottie's on the River while looking for waterfront dining in Chattanooga. The restaurant had very limited parking and quite a long wait, despite a fairly open dining area. The people managing the front did not appear to have the process very organized so we waited a bit for. Table after 2:30 in the afternoon. Once seated, our waiter was very attentive and food was served quickly. We ordered wedge salads, fish and chip and chicken Marsala. The salads and fish were very good, but the chicken Marsala was not my favorite. It is served "airline style" as my waiter put it (wing attached to chicken breast). Overall, the food and service were good. Would have given it five stars if not for the check-in process and wait. Ate by the water and enjoyed the view.

Outside patio has a relaxing ambiance and inside has a fun casual ambiance. The food is tasty and the service was friendly. I arrived late to the hotel so I got takeout. I recommend!

We visited today for the first time and had dinner, drinks and dessert on the patio. Our server, Luke, was warm and knowledgeable. I had the blueberry mojito and my wife had madam president for drinks - we'd order both again in a heartbeat. For dinner, we had the chop marsala and the black and bleu steak salad respectively. We enjoyed both and had leftovers to bring home. Our desserts were decadent: the crème brûlée and coconut cheesecake. The only thing that could have added to this experience was a nice view, and we even got that! Scottie's is located right in the river and we were able to take a walk along the river after. There was ample parking (pay by app; cost was about $7 for 3 hours) and the prices were fair. We'll be back!

Cup of gumbo, Caesar side salad

Usually restaurants are known for the food or the view, not both. Scottie's for lunch offered both as well as excellent service! $10 for a cup of gumbo seemed high, but it was well worth it for the deliciousness I received. Deep, complex flavor, smoky and full of shrimp, okra and sausage with just the right amount of rice. Accompanied by a well-dressed side Caesar (the dressing oozed with garlic flavor and just a hint of anchovy) with perfectly crisp Romaine lettuce. This was a simple meal, elevated. Can't wait to return!

This place is amazing! Right in the river. I see and outside seating. Can eat at the bar. TVs for sports viewing. Winner was the dinner. The pork chop with Marsala mushrooms with pimento mashed potatoes couldn't have been better. Omg! Bonus- awesome fellow Hoosier waiter to help us celebrate win over Oregon!

Great vibes outside, immediate seating with open seating for outdoor spots, no bugs seen just heard. We couldn't see the sunset from the angle of the patio, but the vibes were high regardless. The food was great - our waiter had lovely recs and even brought us free hush puppies! So sweet! The steak salad is perfect, especially paired with a side of seasonal cherry ribs and a glass of sauvy b. Perfect spot for a nice summer night out!!

Scottie on the river next to the Marriott was the perfect stay for a quick visit. The drink selection and food items were excellent. Nice view for a group by the river. Our waitress was excellent and attentive. The drinks were delicious. The passion fruit margarita was my favorite. Calamari's were light batter and does not come with marinara sauce. But I still think they should add some sort of dipping sauce. I enjoyed all my breads and entrees here.

Decent place but very irked that they added 18% tip to a party of 5 without informing us. I will NOT return! And you have to pay to park.

At first, servers were scarce, but as I got up to go to the bar, the bartender must've seen me and was on his way. He took our initial drink order. At $14 per glass of wine, we just went for the bottle at $54 and a charcuterie board at $27. We are on vacation, so why not. The view is excellent. The weather cooperated. People watching from on high was fun, and the nature scenery was nice. Service was a little slow, but not an imposition, however, if it gets much busier, that could be a thing. We later learned they previously had a $10 cover, but we did not get asked for this and it must be a thing of the past, or I understand it is waived for guests of the Edwin Hotel (the bar's affiliated with the Edwin) but we had dinner reservations at Whitebird, the affiliated restaurant. The charcuterie was good with cheeses, cured meats, jams, crackers, etc. all in all, the star is the Al fresco seating and the River, and of course the company of my beautiful wife! So, go for outdoor seating and bring your own beau!

If you want outdoor seating, get here early because space outside is limited. Inside, there's plenty of seating options with high-top tables, couches, and bar seating that create a relaxed atmosphere. We came mainly for the view and drinks, and the view absolutely delivered. Watching the sunset over the river was easily the highlight of the experience and worth seeing at least once. For drinks, we ordered Old Fashioneds and Margaritas. Unfortunately, both were just average and didn't live up to the setting or atmosphere. Service was also disappointing. The staff was not very attentive, and at one point we actually had to leave our table and go to the bar to find our waiter. In the end, the incredible view couldn't make up for the mediocre drinks and poor service. Great view, but this ended up being a one-and-done visit for us.

Wonderful cocktail list with well balanced, well made cocktails. I loved my old fashioned and others enjoyed their drinks too. Very nice, attentive service from the servers although they brought out the oysters without telling us what was what and service was at times bumpy. The interior is nice, with it feeling casual but somewhere you could bring a date. And we enjoyed the lobster cakes which were well done, nice sauce, without overwhelming the sweetness of the lobster itself. So that was positive. Where it failed: the tuna bites on regular and not crispy rice was hard to eat. It was good but a little unruly. The halibut piccatta was VERY dry, almost bordering on inedible. Their special, which was a bento box was not great. The flavors didn't go together and their sushi eggroll had cream cheese which is very gross. Their steak frites was fine if not that memorable. All in all, I would come back for their drinks and their oysters but not sure I would come back for a full meal here.
