Ordered food to be delivered by Uber eats. The meal was quite underwhelming. I ordered the garlic honey, chicken breast, seasonal grains and seasonal vegetables. Everything really needed seasoning. During a recent Sunday afternoon visit to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Chattanooga, TN, I was pleased with the short wait time. Our waiter provided excellent service, though I regretfully forgot his name despite my intention to remember it. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was accompanied by an amazing sauce. However, the fish had a slightly rubbery texture, leading me to wonder if it was slightly undercooked. I didn't want asparagus that came with but the alternate choices like broccoli were not that great. In my opinion they're almost the same thing. But when the dish came to the table we laughed at how small and thin the asparagus was on the plate. I actually ate it because it was small and thin. My fiancé chose a salad with salmon on the side, and we were both impressed by the generous portion size. Typically, I find salads to be overpriced, but this one was substantial and satisfying. This is the second time a group of friends has chosen Firebirds to celebrate a birthday and we are, once again, so glad we did. Greeted warmly at the door by the host and shown to our table. Aaron J was our waiter and what a charming and capable young man. Some of us arrived late, but he managed drinks, dinners, desserts with that great smile and obvious experience with customers. We're a mature and discerning group with varied tastes and all facets of our dining experience were timely, piping hot, drinks refreshed and food we couldn't finished whisked to the kitchen to be boxed. Firebirds The wife and I stopped by there to have dinner on Saturday evening 9/13/25 around 3:30. The bread was fresh, the Caesar salad was really lacking hardly no cheese, the Server (Kailey) offered a side of cheese which made it better it was really LACKING for a $7.75 salad with an entree. We both ordered a loaded baked potato guess we should have ordered a HOT Potato because it was COLD not even HOT enough to melt butter, they did serve us another one that was Hot. I ordered a Filet Mignon ordered it to be cooked Medium it came out Rare and it was only Luke Warm. Heck the Mexican Restaurant's can serve you a HOT Plate... I met a friend here for lunch a month or so ago, and we had a fabulous time. Service was perfect (attentive but not hovering), and the food was delicious. I had the grilled salmon with baked potato. This used to be my preferred weekend option for a good meal. One of our favorite restaurants in Chattanooga. Filet is always cooked to perfection. Today I tried the Salmon & Shrimp with Aji Amarillo sauce and it was divine! Probably the best Caesar salad I've ever had. Delectable and rich white chocolate and cherry bread pudding for dessert. I took the photo of the dessert was after I ate half of it and the vanilla bean ice cream melted but I promise you, the presentation was impressive. Excellent drinks, excellent service and delicious food. We dined on Christmas Eve, our first time here, and expectations were exceeded. The hostesses were polite and efficient, we were early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar while waiting. The beer was perfectly poured and my margarita was delicious. We had a starter of Lobster Spinach Queso! It was thinner than expected, like a chowder, but had intense flavor. My Caesar salad was crispy and tangy, with a touch of heat. Delicious. Our mains were cooked perfectly. Woodfired Salmon didn't disappoint, it was flavorful and tender. The Filet was a little more of a "cool" pink than I'd expect for a medium rare but it was still incredible, the broccoli in truth was overcooked and soft. But heyo, everything else was fabulous. Dessert was a peanut butter pie to go...we were so full! It was well packaged. Our server was sweet and very communicative. We love this place. There are locations closer to home, but we choose to drive to Chattanooga because we always have a great experience. Tonight there was a problem with my steak. The manager stopped by the table before I could even verbalize the issue to my husband. He went above and beyond to make sure the mistake was rectified and we were happy. What a gorgeous restaurant. The lighting is dark and relaxing, gives off a very regal feel to the place. We stopped before the rush so service and food were fast an on point, kudos to the kitchen for the amazing consistency between all 3 courses. Lunch is served! We always enjoy our lunches at Firebirds. We usually get salads and they allow for them to be modified to suit your tastes. I tend to stick with the Salmon & Spinach Salad because of how delicious it is. This is one of the few places I've had amazing salmon in the Chattanooga area. Service is most usually amazing, especially with Barbara. Absolutely wonderful and always nice to see everyone we have come to know through our visits. Great staff! Ambiance is always good with just the right amount of lighting, not too much noise, comfortable seating, and delicious smells from the kitchen. This is the second time in a year that we have been there and meat is cooked incorrectly. We had salmon the first time that was raw. This time it was over cooked and a member of our party had steak that he could hardly chew. We order salmon and steak at other restaurants and have better results. I was not at all impressed with the food at this location. I sat at the bar and the bartenders were great and very professional. They promptly took my drink and food order. I was going to order Parmesan mashed potatoes with my entree but was quickly advised not to do that by the bartender. The lobster fondue salmon was not good at all. I was told that it was good which is why I ordered it but there's a reason by cheese doesn't belong on seafood. The potatoes were okay but nothing to write home about. However, the margarita was outstanding. Yum!! I only ate half my food. The bartender followed me to the parking lot, apologized and gave me a gift card to use for a future visit. I have no plan to revisit this restaurant but appreciate her observation and kindness. read more

We were here in Chattanooga for vacation and our experience was a big miss! The bread was hard..it didn't seem fresh. The baby back ribs weren't great. My wife commented that it was more bones than meat. My side of broccoli tasted gritty and there was brown spots on it. Carrot cake and caramel was lukewarm at best. We arrived at 1:50pm and it appeared we received the dinner menu with no option of the lunch/happy hour menu until we asked about it. The positives: the hostess greeted us politely upon entering and our server, Jasmine did a great job of making sure our needs were met. My wife did enjoy her impossible burger and my daughter enjoyed her kid meal (chicken fingers) and kid sundae. We chose to dine at Firebirds because we really love the Georgia location. My family is in town for the week and decided to try Firebirds for dinner. Our server was Brisa, who was very friendly and welcoming. She has a great personality to work in the service So the food... first they have the best bread I've ever had. I'm not really a big bread lover but this bread was delicious. I ordered the NY Strip with a loaded baked potato and the steak was good perfectly and was flavorful. Honestly I was surprised at how large the portion was and had enough for lunch the next day. My entire party ordered steaks and enjoyed them but two sides stands out ... the ceasar salad and the grilled veggies. Two people at the table ordered the salad and raved the entire time they were eating theirs. Due to the cheese I didn't taste but my niece wanted to take a second one home she enjoyed it so much. Now the grilled veggies looked uncooked on initial viewing but the flavor and perfect balance of tender snd crunch! I wish I ordered my own since I only sampled my mom's. We only had one issue ... my mom's steak was overcooked. She hates sending food back but could not chew it. Brisa quickly addressed the issue and her manager Rico delivered a freshly prepared steak to the correct temperature. My mom loved the new steak. We ordered two carrot cakes to go and from the taste, we should have ordered more. It was delicious and paired with a cup of caramel to add if desired. Overall, I would return. From the start, the hosts greet you with authentic hospitality and escort you to the table. From there, our server introduced himself and gave us a tour of the menu. I was torn between the Cajun Ribeye and the Bleu Filet, but I went with our server's recommendation- the Cajun Ribeye. It did not disappoint! I ordered it medium, and it was a perfect medium, something challenging to find in restaurants these days! It was covered in Cajun butter, a spice lover's dream. *heart-eyed emoji* Every bite melted in my mouth. As someone who usually can't eat much or finish their meal, I thought I would be taking at least half of this huge steak home with me, however I found myself wishing I had a spoon to devour the tiny bit left on my plate.
