The owner Gary and his team blew me away with their professionalism and detail. They installed a quality full AC and Heat system to replace the builders installed units. I also had a mini split put in. This is the company you want to hire, they are legit! Prices are very fair and their response time was incredible. Derek the foreman who ran my job was very polite and professional, he made sure all my questions were answered and that he took great care of my home while the work was being done. It was two full days and this crew of three worked very hard. They're some of the hardest working young me I have had the pleasure to meet in a long time. To all my fellow Anthem at Merrill Ranch residents look no further, Hoffman is who you want to install and service your Heating and AC needs.

    We explained what the problem was with our washing machine before they came. The guy showed up and…read morelooked at it for 1 minute and immediately said the grinding and loud noise means the washing machine is done and would cost just as much to buy a new machine. So we paid $125 for someone to come and immediately say it's not worth fixing. I think they knew ahead of time it wasn't worth fixing but sent someone out anyway and took our money. Just didn't sit right with us. On another note the tech that came out was very nice and explained the situation. We just feel robbed.

    Our LED board light went out in our fridge. Called and ordered a new one since we were still…read moregetting power to the plug. The new board did not work as well so we called Thomas Home Services. They were nice on the phone, stated they would charge us a tech call fee to come out and determine what the issue was which is understandable. They stated after they figure out what the problem is, they would apply the $125 service call to the bill if we moved forward with the repairs. After the service guy came out, which he was very nice and knowledgeable, he stated it was the 2 small switches in front and our transformer underneath. Stated it was $680 - $125 for everything. We agreed but they stated they had to order the parts and they would come back the following week around Tuesday. Tuesday came and we did not hear from them. I called them on Wednesday and they stated the parts came in and would have someone call me. Again, another day went by and no one called. I had to call back in where they told me they could not come out until Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week and would put us on the 1st stop at 8am. We scheduled for Tuesday. 8:20am came by and no word. I called and asked if someone was coming and the lady stated the service guy had to stop by the parts store to pickup the parts and then would head our way. The guy finally showed up at 8:45am. Mind you, I was advised the previous week by 2 people the parts were in and they already had them on hand. After the service guy installed the 2 switches which took about 10 -15 min, he started on the transformer. After we swapped out the transformer, he proceeded to advise us that it was not the transformer but most likely something with the internal wiring and they would have to pull the built in fridge out and start to tear things apart to find out where the break in the wire was bad. We did not want to spend the money on that. They ended up billing us $400 for 2 switches. I spoke to the manager and he stated they don't charge by the hour, just what the billing time states for the parts. I asked him for a breakdown of labor and parts and he stated they don't do invoices that way. I would assume it is THEIR way of covering all the labor they did on our fridge for something that did not need to be replaced which they misdiagnosed from the beginning. Now, here comes more horrible service: I looked under the fridge to see how things were put back as I had a bad feeling after what they did on the above. The service guy only put 1 screw back on to hold the cover plate. He did not put the other 2 screws on. After I took the cover plate off, the service guy did not put the transformer cover back on as well. He shoved it back under the fridge and put all the screws under the fridge laying on the ground. Every time you call this place, they asked you how they can put a smile on your face. What a joke. I would never use this company nor recommend them. They did not finish the job and wasted our time/money.

    We had an exceptional experience with AirAid. Initially, Robert was recommended to us by a local…read morehandyman. We didn't have a licensed person put in our original split a/c and were having coolant issues. :-( He came over to look at our unit, and a couple of days later, came back with his team to repair it. He was upfront about telling us that he couldn't assess any internal damage the last two repair companies might have made to it. But, he did tell us what he would recommend if we ever needed to replace it. Well, it worked super well for about 10 days and then simply died. So we were in touch with him again, got an installation date and time, and his team came over again. These guys really know their stuff! And, they were so professional, courteous, and made sure we knew exactly what was happening. They re-routed several things, put a breaker box by the outside unit to make it easier to access (see photo), took away a ton of unnecessary wires, hoses and foam which they consolidated into a very small space in the garage. It was amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with Robert and his company, his employees, and the service we received. You will not be disappointed.

I live a distance from Dad as he has recently moved to Casa Grande. Max Air understood the situation. They arrived on the time Saturday as promised. Keeping me updated throughout the process. The new unit was delivered on Sunday after dark. On a Sunday! They arrived on Monday morning at 6 AM, as promised, to complete the installation. I say above and beyond is because they told me that it was unsafe for him to stay there because of the heat inside.Then they arranged for a hotel room for Dad to escape the heat.They paid for the room.What other company would do that? Now the new unit is blowing cold air and will save him money on his electric bill.Thank you Max Air.

    PLEASE DO NOT USE MAX AIR CONDITIONING…read more My experience with Max Air is not good. Max came, gave an estimate and then gave us a time when his tech would do the work. Well, his estimate was incomplete, amateur and lacked detail on was to be "repair" and what was "maintenance." He then called, saying he would arrived several hours earlier than he said he would, and that would give a 15 percent discount on whatever the homeowners' warranty wouldn't cover. When he arrived, he demanded full payment on the spot or he would leave without doing anything and not have a day when he could return. He would not even wait for the warranty company to examine the claim(15-30 minutes). Very much pressured, we paid the bill (we couldn't go another 2 days without A/C in 110-degree heat) and we hope the unit was prepared properly. After posting an account of what happened to a local Buy/Sale/Trade forum, we "magically" received a "refund receipt" from Max Air. However, two days later, the refund has never been submitted nor attempted to be submitted (according to the credit card company). So unethical on a number of different levels, it's hard to believe.
