This is a classic garage scam move to attempt to make a few extra bucks on inspection. I thought Northups was better than this but I guess I was wrong. Most people just go along with this scam and pay it to keep the peace. I did not. If you are going there for inspection, make sure you check your vehicle thoroughly before you bring it there.
