Horrible place - I agree with Adam. The daughter is horrendous. Easily the rudest person working at any business in Rhode Island. Not only that, even if you have an appointment and drop your car off the night before, she freaks out if you call at the end of the day asking if you can pick up the car. Rick is great. He's just old school honest. Love the guy. He doesn't work on cars over 15 years old. Won't work on German cars. I have cars over 15 years old, and I have a 26 year old BMW. Years ago, my mother had to use a loaner car, and got in her first accident ever. Mulzer and his crew were so calming, and helpful, that they truly recognize the value in their customers. My friend took his car to a reliable business who told him one of your wires was disconnected,How Strange? Bottom line, The wire got connected and car passed inspection. I brought my wife's car to Mulzer's to have 4 tires mounted and balanced the week before Christmas. On her way home from work the next night she called me to pick her up on the side of the road, the car was making " a funny noise". Every lug nut was loose. They never torqued the lugs down. One rear tire was vibrating so bad it snapped a wheel stud. I called and was offered to drop it off so they can fix it but am reluctant to have them touch any vehicle we own now. It's too bad because I live nearby. Just a warning to be careful. read more

I went to Mulzer's car care for my 2nd visit, on 12/8/20 for a State Inspection, comfortable with the 1st visit with them, got an oil change. Before I went to them, I gave my car an inspection, opened up the hood, checked my engine, everything was problem free. I got in my car and checked my dash board panel, no problems, everything's good. I head out to Mulzers for my State Inspection. I pull up, exit the car, enter Rick's business, tell him I need a State Inspection, then hand him my car key. Rick get's up, enters the bay area, then I see one of his mechanics exit the bay area and head towards my car. The mechanic gets in my car and drives it into the bay area he exited, moments later, the mechanic backs my car out of the bay area, then walks back to the bay area, Rick get's up and enters the bay area, moment's later, Rick comes to me and says that my check engine lights on. I told him that your guy tamped with my car. Rick tells me to leave and not come back. I leave, pull over up the road, open my hood, look around and see that my hose was disconnected. I reconnect it and my check engine light goes out. I bring it to my home town mechanic and he throughs it on the diagnostic machine and it detects a problem. He tells me that I need to drive it 70 miles to reset the computer, I did and brought it back to him to recheck it. Everythings a go and he slapped my State Inspection sticker on it and I left. Mulzer's car care just cost me extra time and money for nothing. Mulzer's car care is no good. Take your care there at your own risk. You may pay for things that you don't need because there a greedy car care company. I'm reporting Mulzer's car care company to the Attorney General consumer complaint unit and I'm also reporting Mulzer's car care to the the department of business regulation board of auto mechanics. This car care company is no good. There gonna burn you so beware of there shady tactics. read more
